Lyrics
Three
That's the Magic Number
Yes it is
It's the magic number
Somewhere in this hip-hop soul community
Was born three: Mase, Dove, and me
And that's the magic number

(What does it all mean?)

Difficult preaching is Posdnuos' pleasure
Pleasure and preaching starts in the heart
Something that stimulates the music in the measure
Measure in the music, raised in three parts
Casually see but don't do like the Soul
Cause seein' and doin' are actions for monkeys
Doin' hip hop hustle, no rock and roll
Unless your name's Brewster, cause Brewster's a Punk (three)
Parents let go cause there's magic in the air
Criticizing rap shows you're out of order
Stop look and listen to the phrase ya Fred Astaire’s
And don't get offended while Mase do-si-do's your daughter
A tri-camera rolls since our music's now set
Fly rhymes are stored on a D.A.I.S.Y. production
It stands for "Da Inner Sound, Y'all" and y'all can bet
That the action's not a trick, but showing the function

Everybody wants to be a deejay
Everybody wants to be an emcee
But being speakers are the best
And you don't have to guess
De La Soul posse consists of three
And that's the magic number

(Three)

This here piece of the pie
Is not dessert but the course that we dine
And three out of every darn time
The effect is "Mmmm" when a daisy grows in your mind
Showing true position, this here piece is
Kissin' the part of the pie that's missin'
When that negative number fills up the casualty
Maybe you can subtract it
You can call it your lucky partner
Maybe you can call it your adjective
But odd as it may be
Without my one and two where would there be
My three
Mase Pos and Me
And that's the Magic Number

(What does it all mean?)

Focus is formed by flaunts to the soul
Souls who flaunt styles gain praises by pounds
Common are speakers who honor the scroll
Scroll written daily creates a new sound
Listeners listen cause this here is wisdom
Wisdom of a Speaker, a Dove and a Plug
Set aside a legal substance to feed ‘em
For now get 'em high off this dialect drug (Three)
Time is a factor so it's time that counts
Count not the negative actions of one
Speakers of soul say it's time to shout
Three forms the soul to a positive sum
Dance to this fix and flex every muscle
Space can be filled if you ride like my lumber
Advance to the tune but don't do the hustle
Shake, rattle, roll to my Magic Number (Three)

Now you may try to subtract it
But it just won't go away
Three times one?
(What is it?)
(One, two, three)
And that's a Magic Number

(Yo, what's up?)
(1, 2, 3)
(I say, children, what does it all mean?)
(Woah-woah-wo, 1, 2, 3)
(I wouldn't lie to you)
(No more no less, that's a magic number)
(No more no less)
(What is?)
(No more no less)
(Do the shing-a-ling)
(No more no less)
(Anybody in the audience ever get hit by a car?)
(No more no less)
(How high's the water, mama?)
(No more no less)
(How high's the water, mama?)
(No more no less)
(3 feet high and rising)
(No more no less)
(3)
(That's a magic number)

NWA - Boys in The Hood i do not Claim to own the Following and Do not intend if seen as Copyright

Lyrics:

Woke up quick at about noon
Just thought that I had to be in Compton soon
I gotta get drunk before the day begin
Before my mother starts bitchin' 'bout my friends
About to go and damn it went blind
Young niggaz at the pad throwin' up gang signs
Ran in the house and grabbed my clip
With the Mc10 in the side of my hip
Bailed outside and pointed my weapon
Just as I thought, the fools kept steppin'
Jumped in the fo' (6-fo) hit the juice on my ride
I got front back and side to side
Then I let the LP play
Poppin' new shit by NWA
It was "Gangsta Gangsta" at the top of the list
Then I played my own shit, it went somethin' like this :

Cruisin' down the street(s) in my 6-fo'
Jackin' the bitches, slappin' the ho's
Went to the park to get the scoop
Knuckle-heads out there cold shootin' some hoo's
A car pulls up, who can it be?
A fresh elkomino rolly Kilo G
He rolls down his window and he started to say
It's all about makin' that GTA

Cuz the boyz in de hood are alwayz hard
You come talkin' that trash we'll bull your car
Knowin' nothin' in life but to be legit'
Don't quote me boy, cuz I ain't sayin' shit ...

[]

Down on B'z in the place to give me the pace
He said my man JB is on 3 base
The boy JB was a friend of mine
'Till I cought him in my car tryin' to steal an LP
Chased him up the street to call a truth
The silly mothafucka pull out a duz-duz
Little did he know I had a loaded 12 gage
One sucker dead, L.A. times first page

Cuz the boyz in de hood are alwayz hard
You come talkin' that trash we'll bull your car
Knowin' nothin' in life but to be legit'
Don't quote me boy, cuz I ain't sayin' shit ...

[]

Butt ass hell and I wanna get ill
So I went to a spot where my homeboyz chill
The fellows out there - makin' that dollar
I pulled up in my 6-fo' and howlered
They greet me with a 40 and I start drinkin'
And from the 8-ball my breath start stinkin'
Love to get my girl, to rock that body
Before I left I hit the block party
Went to her house to get her out of the pad
Dumb ho' said something that made me mad
She said somethin' that I could'nt believe
So I grabbed the stupid bitch by her nappy ass weed
She started talkin' shit, would'nt you know?
Reached back like a pimp and slapped the ho'
Her father jumped out and he started to shout
So I threw a right-cross and knocked his whole ass out

Cuz the boyz in de hood are alwayz hard
You come talkin' that trash we'll bull your car
Knowin' nothin' in life but to be legit'
Don't quote me boy, cuz I ain't sayin' shit ...

[]

I'm rollin' hard now I'm under control
Then wrapped the 6-fo' 'round the telephone poll
I looked at my card and I said oh brother
I throw it in the gatter and go buy another
Walkin' home and I see the G ride
Now Ket is drivin' Kilo on the side
As they bustin' to you they got pulled over
An undercover cop in a dark green over'
Ket got beaten for resistin' arrest
He sucked the pig in his head for wrippin' his kiest'
Now G is cut for doin' the crime
For the fence on the boy, he'll do some time

Cuz the boyz in de hood are alwayz hard
You come talkin' that trash we'll bull your car
Knowin' nothin' in life but to be legit'
Don't quote me boy, cuz I ain't sayin' shit ...

[]

I went to get the mouth but there was no bail
The fellows start to riot in the county jail
Two dayz later in municiple court
Kilo G on trial straight cold cut a fork
Distruption of a court, said the judge
Only six years since my man did'nt budge
Bailer came over to turn him in
Kilo G looked up and gave a grin
He yelled out "FIRE!", then came Suzi
Then came suzi -
The bitch came in with a sub-machine Uzi
Police shot the bitch but did'nt hurt her
Both up state for attempted murder

Cuz the boyz in de hood are alwayz hard
You come talkin' that trash we'll bull your car
Knowin' nothin' in life but to be legit'
Don't quote me boy, cuz I ain't sayin' shit

Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
And all I am is a man
I want the world in my hands
I hate the beach but I stand
In California with my toes in the sand
Use the sleeves of my sweater
Let's have an adventure
Head in the clouds but my gravity's centered
Touch my neck and I'll touch yours
You in those little high waisted shorts, oh

[Pre-Chorus]
She knows what I think about
And what I think about
One love, two mouths
One love, one house
No shirt, no blouse
Just us, you find out
Nothing that I wouldn't wanna tell you about, no

[Chorus]
'Cause it's too cold for you here
And now, so let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater

[Verse 2]
And if I may just take your breath away
I don't mind if there's not much to say
Sometimes the silence guides a mind
To move to a place so far away
The goosebumps start to raise
The minute that my left hand meets your waist
And then I watch your face
Put my finger on your tongue
'Cause you love the taste, yeah
These hearts adore
Everyone the other beats hardest for
Inside this place is warm
Outside it starts to pour

[Pre-Chorus]
Comin' down
One love, two mouths
One love, one house
No shirt, no blouse
Just us, you find out
Nothing that I wouldn't wanna tell you about
No, no, no

[Chorus]
'Cause it's too cold for you here
And now, so let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater
'Cause it's too cold for you here
And now, so let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater, woah

[Bridge]
Woah, woah, woah
Woah, woah, woah, woah
Woah, woah
Woah, woah, woah, woah
Woah, woah

[Chorus]
'Cause it's too cold for you here
And now, so let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater
'Cause it's too cold for you here
Now, let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater

[Outro]
And it's too cold, it's too cold
The holes of my sweater

Lyrics:

Uh huh, it's Iggy Iggz
I got one more problem with you girl
Aye
Hey, baby even though I hate ya
I wanna love ya
I want you
And even though I can't forgive ya
I really want to
I want you
Tell me, tell me, baby
Why can't you leave me
'Cause even though I shouldn't want it
I gotta have it
I want you
Head in the clouds
Got no weight on my shoulders
I should be wiser
And realize that I've got
One less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less, one less problem
One less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less, one less problem
I know you're never gonna wake up
I gotta give up
But it's you
I know I shouldn't ever call back
Or let you come back
But it's you
Every time you touch me
And say you love me
I get a little bit breathless
I shouldn't want it
But it's you
Head in the clouds
Got no weight on my shoulders
I should be wiser
And realize that I've got
One less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less, one less problem
One less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less, one less problem
It's Iggy Iggz, uh
What you got?
Smart money bettin', I'll be better off without you
In no time, I'll be forgettin' all about you
You saying that you know
But I really really doubt you
Understand my life is easy
When I ain't around you
Iggy Iggy, too biggie to be here stressing
I'm thinking I love the thought of you
More than I love your presence
And the best thing now
Is probably for you to exit
I let you go, let you back
I finally learned my lesson
No half-stepping
Either you want it or you just playin'
I'm listening to you knowin'
I can't believe what you're sayin'
There's a million you's baby boo
So don't be dumb
I got ninety-nine problems
But you won't be one
Like what!
One less, one less problem
One less, one less problem
Head in the clouds
Got no weight on my shoulders
I should be wiser
And realize that I've got
One less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less, one less problem
One less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less, one less problem
One less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less, one less problem

Lyrics

As I look into your eyes I see the sunrise
The light behind your face helps me realise
(Sunrise)
Will we sleep and sometimes love until the moon shines
Maybe the next time I'll be yours and maybe you'll be mine
(Sunrise)
I don't know if it's even in your mind at all
It could be me
At this moment in time
Is it in your mind at all?
It should be me, it could be me
(Is it in your mind?)
Forever, forever
Wandering through life, will love come home to you?
And the love you want forever, will they be true to you?
Will we sleep and sometimes love until the moon shines
Maybe the next time I'll be yours and maybe you'll be mine
I don't know if it's even in your mind at all
It could be me
At this moment in time
Love's indescribable
It should be me, it could be me
(Is it in your mind?)
Forever
Easy, ready, willing, over time
Where does it stop, where do you dare me to draw the line?
(Forever)
You've got the body, now you want my soul
Don't even think about it, say no go (yeah)
I don't know if it's even in your mind at all
It could be me
At this moment in time
If it's even in your mind at all
It should be me, it could be me
(Is it in your mind?)
Forever
At this moment in time
If it's even in your mind at all
It should be me, it could be me
(Is it in your mind?)
Forever
Forever
(Sunrise)
