Artist Biography:

Beyond their breathtaking melodies and explosive live sets, you’ll find dance music's closest friendship. Dutch powerhouse duo Lucas & Steve have seen a momentous rise to stardom in recent years with consecutive summer hits, multiple platinum and golden records, an endless string of international performances and accolades from BUMA (The Netherlands), Fun Radio (France), DJ Mag, MTV and many more.

The pair are renowned for uplifting productions and emotive lyrics, etching their place in modern dance music with massive radio hits like "Summer On You", "Up Till Dawn", "Where Have You Gone", “Perfect” and of course “Letters”, the title track of their 2020 debut album: "Letters to Remember”. Their 16 song LP, which received the Netherlands’ prestigious Edison Pop Award, showcases their musical diversity and solidifies Lucas & Steve’s reputation as truly talented songwriters. With deeply embedded dance roots, the pair have collaborated with the likes of Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, W&W and Galantis, and remixed many household names such as David Guetta, Robin Schulz, Kygo, Lost Frequencies and Illenium among many others.

In effect, Lucas & Steve turn into dance music notoriety, reaching unimagined milestones in the early 20’s. Together with R&B icons Blackstreet they successfully revamp 90’s hit “No Diggity” into stardom again, followed by a huge teamup with Afrojack and Dubvision for one of 2021’s biggest anthems “Anywhere With You,” going Gold in their home country, currently counting over 47 million streams on Spotify alone. That same year, the guys also join forces with Norwegian tastemaker Tungevaag for the incredible festival hit “Paper Planes.”

Basically, Lucas & Steve continue to raise the bar with their songwriting and recording process, resulting in the duo recently surpassing 1 billion streams from all corners of the globe. And, as 2023 unfolds, the duo is set for more action, continuing their triumphal path with the release of “After Midnight,” a collab with Yves V, using a sample of dream house maestro Robert Miles.

In the meantime, Lucas & Steve’s infinite energy is best experienced in a crowd, which they’ve proven time after time with acclaimed live performances at Tomorrowland’s Mainstage, Creamfields, AMF, Parookaville, Sziget Festival, ElectroBeach, as well as continuous tours across Europe, Asia and South America.

2023 sees the guys take things even further, as they are gearing up for an incredible year. If ever, Lucas & Steve will be omnipresent this season, in the first part of the year already playing high profile festival shows at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Airbeat One and Kingsland, as well as auspicious club shows in Las Vegas, San Francisco, London, Barcelona, Ibiza and Prague.

Beware, as Lucas & Steve are about to make waves again, armed with a whole new bag of musical tricks, their relentless energy and indestructible good vibes. Join them, and you’ll get the ride of your life.

Alan Walker, Kylie Cantrall - Unsure (Official Music Video) Hotney 11 Streams • 2 years ago

Join the remix competition, and be included in the official remix EP: https://alanwalker.com/unsure-remix-competition/

A couple of weeks ago, I discovered a video on TikTok, which became the foundation for what is now the song "Unsure". In the middle of the process, @kyliecantrall joined with her fantastic vocals, and you can hear the result here: https://alanwalker.lnk.to/Unsure

When it came to the music video, I've been playing around with AI in recent weeks, and with the song coming together so fast, I challenged Kylie to direct the video ourselves (kind of). Naturally, under the premise that it took place in Walkerworld...

Hope you like it - and get inspired!

Lyrics:

HOOK

Not a winner, not a loser,
Neither rich, nor poor
I am just a dreamer chasing something more
Oh I’m on my way ’til I find what I’m searching for,
only thing I know is that I’m so unsure

VERSE 1

I think I’m jaded
I let life get to my head
I stopped complaining
I’ll overthink it instead
This game is draining
So tell me when does it end?
(Oh yea, mmm)

PRE

Hot than cold is getting old
and nothing left is fun
High to low
It’s yes than no
I don’t know what I want

HOOK

Not a winner, not a loser,
Neither rich nor poor
I am just a dreamer chasing something more
Oh I’m on my way ’til I find what I’m searching for,
only thing I know is that I’m so unsure

VERSE 2

Not doing good but
Not really doing that bad
No I’m not happy
But I’m not really that sad
And if I’m honest
Yeah I’ll admit I’m a mess, I’m a mess

PRE

Hot than cold
Is getting old and nothing left is fun
High to low
It’s yes than no
I don’t know what I want

HOOK

Not a winner, not a loser,
Neither rich, nor poor
I am just a dreamer chasing something more
Oh I’m on my way ’til I find what I’m searching for,
only thing I know is that I’m so unsure

Lyrics:

Ya llego el fin de semana,
Prendas de marca italiana,
Voy a pistiar con la plebada
y nunca me llega sana,
A veces alcohol, a veces blanca,
pero siempre marijuana,
De Maruecos es el hashish
Y ella es suramericana

Va a romper la discoteca, teca -teca-teca-teca…
Va a romper la discoteca teca-teca-teca-teca
Va venir toda la poli pa
Sacarnos estamos rollin
Fumeteo gin and tonic

va a romper la discoteca
teca-teca-teca-teca
Va a romper la discoteca
teca-teca-teca-teca
Va a romper la disco,
la-la la -la
Va a romper la disco,
la-la-la-la
Va a romper la disco,
la-la

Entra la puerta y se roba el show,
me vuelve loco bailando el dembow,
No es de la calle but baby you know
teca -teca -teca -teca
Va a romper la discoteca
teca -teca -teca -teca,

Va venir toda la poli pa
Sacarnos estamos rollin
Fumeteo gin and tonic

va a romper la discoteca
teca-teca-teca-teca
Va a romper la discoteca
teca-teca-teca-teca,

Va a romper la disco,
la-la- la -la
Va a romper la disco,
la-la-la-la disco,
Va a romper la disco

Va a romper la discoteca …
Va a romper la discoteca…

This triple headed monster of producers perfectly blends their individual ideas and influences in to one coherent and expansive piece of music in his light-hearted and bouncy house anthem ‘Good To You’. Following on from a hectic 2023 for all involved, they aim to get together and carry the momentum in to the new year and they definitely do that with ‘Good For You’.

Lyrics:

Let's make this fleeting moment last forever
So, tell me what you're waiting for?
I'm gonna keep it frozen here forever,
There's no regretting anymore.
It's worth the wait, even so far away.
I'm making the night mine until the day I die
No lights to brake when you're hanging by fate
You know what it feels like when you're dancing blind
All alone, just the beat inside my soul
Take me home, where my dreams are made of gold
In the zone where the beat is un-controlled.
I know what it feels like
Come on make me feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive alive alive alive
Alive!

Meet me under shining lights,
I've been waiting right here all my life
Feelings you can't deny that you're living, open up your eyes
And I just wanna sink into your crazy laughter
Come on make me feel until the pain don't matter
Every second here makes my heart beat faster
Finally think I found what I'm chasing after.
All alone, just the beat inside my soul
Take me home, where my dreams are made of gold
In the zone where the beat is un-controlled.
I know what it feels like
Come on make me feel alive
Feel alive, feelalive
Feel alive, feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive alive alive alive
Alive!

All alone, just the beat inside my soul
Take me home, where my dreams are made of gold
In the zone where the beat is un-controlled.
I know what it feels like
Come on make me feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive alive alive alive
Alive!
I know what it feels like
Come on make me feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive alive alive alive
Alive! Feel alive!"
