CInemills TV sits down with Big Thundercat aka Cowboy from Nayborhood Rollin' 60's Crip Gang. Cowboy was Nipsey Hussle's big Homey but due to drug abuse he found himself taking a subordinate role to Nip. To be a leader you must be a follower. Cowboy drew inspiration from Nipsey's push and philosophies about life.

Herman "Cowboy" Douglas is an enigmatic figure known for his daring exploits in the hood and legendary status as a modern-day cowboy and true comrade of Nip.

On the other hand, Nipsey Hussle, whose birth name was Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was an American rapper, entrepreneur, and community activist. Born on August 15, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, Hussle emerged as a prominent figure in the hip-hop industry. He gained recognition for his mixtapes, including "The Marathon" and "Crenshaw," which showcased his unique storytelling ability and insightful lyrics.

What set Hussle apart was not only his musical talent but also his dedication to uplifting his community. He actively worked to create opportunities and empower those living in South Los Angeles, where he grew up. Hussle was deeply invested in initiatives promoting education, economic development, and reducing gang violence. He also co-founded the Marathon Clothing store, an entrepreneurial venture aimed at revitalizing his neighborhood.

Tragically, Nipsey Hussle's life was cut short when he was fatally shot on March 31, 2019, outside his clothing store. His untimely death sent shockwaves through the music industry and beyond, leaving a void in the community he tirelessly served.

While both Herman "Cowboy" Douglas and Nipsey Hussle were individuals who captured the public's imagination in their respective realms, their paths and contributions diverge significantly. Douglas symbolized the older OG and embraced the loyalty over everything lifestyle, while Hussle made a lasting impact as a rapper, entrepreneur, and community advocate before his untimely passing.

R.E.M. remains one of the most influential and successful bands of all time. Before they were in the mainstream, they influenced the mainstream. When they finally entered the mainstream, they permanently changed it. R.E.M. is also one of the few bands to be both critically acclaimed yet extremely popular. And when I say “critically acclaimed,” I mean they are undeniably one of the most critically acclaimed bands of all time. I know, I know, critics are overrated, right? Well, they also have sold more than 90 million records worldwide. R.E.M. was a HUGE reason why “college rock” and “alternative rock” even exist in the first place. Look, when a band literally CREATES new genres of music, they’re kind of a big freaking deal.

So what’s your favorite R.E.M. song and album? My favorite song by them is “Shiny Happy People,” but any time I sing karaoke my first go-to pick is often “It’s the End of the World as We Know It.” My favorite album? That’s a tough one, but yeah I’ll probably go with Automatic for the People to avoid scrutiny down there. Anyway, let me know yours below. Thanks for watching!

Lyrics

Why should we reach for the sky
Why bother at all
The odds are never good
So why

Set yourself up for greatness
Block out every flaw
Lie away every incoherence
Declare yourself the law

But then again -
Are we but amoebas
That tread the mill of time?
No way to Shangri-La
Unless you start to climb

Raise cathedrals for man
Tear them down in disgust
Not because we can
But because we must

Raising Eden from dust
Since our downfall began
Not because we must
But because we can

Utopia
All well and good
Project what’s missing
Unto your inadequate world
Make no mistake
You’re all alone
When the drama unfurls

Go ahead
Be a god
Then face the inevitable

Solo - Morean
Solo - Christian

Decay
Wretchedness
Clusterfuck

Failure
All is dead
Clusterfuck

Disaster
Clusterfuck
All for nothing
Clusterfuck

From the ashes of man
Crawls a god in disgust
Not because he can
But because he must

Raises temples of lust
Starts again without a plan
Not because he must
But because he can

Lyrics:
I’ma bounce you up and down
You’ll be coming back no doubt
Baby please don’t make a sound
You’re waking up my neighbors now

Keep quiet, can you shut your mouth?
It’s our secret till the truth comes out
I’ma bounce you up and down
You’ll be coming back no doubt

[VERSE]
Who you gonna call
If things go wrong
When things get bad
It’s always my fault

But when you need a friend
Who you gonna call?
Leave if you need but I really wanna see ya

I’ll give you what you want
When you feel lost
Baby girl just give me a call

I really wanna taste, so tell me if it’s on
Come over to my place and stay up all night long

I’ma bounce you up and down
You’ll be coming back no doubt
Baby please don’t make a sound
You’re waking up my neighbors now

Keep quiet, can you shut your mouth?
It’s our secret till the truth comes out
I’ma bounce you up and down
You’ll be coming back no doubt

I think about you all day lowkey
Meaning I don’t want you to leave
You live in my head rent free
So come and stay the night with me

I give it to you good
I love the way you crave me
Lately I been hooked, you been driving me crazy

I really wanna taste, so tell me if it’s on
Come over to my place and stay up all night long

I’ma bounce you up and down
You’ll be coming back no doubt
Baby please don’t make a sound
You’re waking up my neighbors now

Keep quiet, can you shut your mouth?
It’s our secret till the truth comes out
I’ma bounce you up and down
You’ll be coming back no doubt

We took all the video footage including two short clips that have never been seen of Eric Holder's get away of the shooting on March 31, 2019.

This video has all video synced and a new timeline was calculated that is slighlty more accurate than the timeline used in Eric Holder's trial .

Lyrics:
Tell me your the best thing,
I tell you that’s what you need
Rolling on those good looks
Maybe it’s just enough
I know you dream of snowfields
Floating high above the trees
Living for the new thing
Sometimes the new won’t do

Kisses born desert sun

Maybe there’s a car, there
Driving away from here
Taking all the ghosts
The hurt
Well everything starts anew
Tell me what you need
What’s right
Whatever is just enough
Is Living with the truth
A start
Maybe it’s just enough

Kisses born desert sun

LYRICS:
I was just thinking bout all the times I was hard headed
Thought I was right all along I was misleaded
All this weight on my back feeling so heavy
These boys claim they want war well I’m war ready
I had a bake a cake for the boy cause he playing petty
I was so focus at the top and I’m still at it
They tried to provoke me to stop No I won’t dammit
They want me go back to the block no no no
I done gained a whole lot more opps Now that I’m home
Niggas nose all in mine don’t know how to ming they own
Twenty three in one how you feel when you alone
That’s four four walls talking to you telling you gone
Only I done cried cause its feelings for my bro
And you know my mind you done watched a nigga growth
Know you hearing the lies that your lil brudda might fold
Yeah I had copped out but don’t let them say I told
No I ain’t you lil boys ima show you that I’m grown
Bulletproof the big toys let me show you how we roll
All these niggas in my business had to tell them tuck they nose
You wack niggas couldn’t get with this I’m one hunnid for sure

I was just thinking about this shit I couldn’t avoid
Can’t afford shit tell I make it on the Forbes
A lot of shit I did a niggas wasn’t there to say I saw it
I Never crossed lines all I did was play my part
I ain’t sign for a dime to my name I had a quarter
Just light twenty five and didn’t have it all in order
Niggas think Imma die they don’t know I’m immortal
No I aint Nino brown but I’m back like at the Carter
I just been getting high I don’t never wanna be sober
She said going ride so I got her the big Rover
Young Gunna getting wiser
do ever think it’s over
We done cut off ties and i gave them the cold shoulder
I swear this life a mold you

Right the fuck back on and I know it’s been a minute
Bought a new wardrobe bitches saying a nigga skinny
pockets still a lil chubby lord knows I gotta get it
Tell you this time around they going hate they went against it

Uhhhh uhhhh uhhh

They going hate they went against it

Uhhh uhhh uhhhh

Yeah a

Uhh uhhh uhhh uhhh

Yeah a

Uhhh uhhh uhh

It’s one thing to be a fan of the Notorious B.I.G. but an entirely different gift to have known Christopher Wallace. Whether he was a friend, label mate, mentor or peer, if Biggie was in your life in any capacity, you were blessed.
While conducting these interviews, the toughest question I had to ask was “Do you remember your last conversation with Big?” What I received was a beautiful mix of shared memories from friends to Bad Boy staff. We begin the finale of this ode to B.I.G.’s last days with the producer of his song “Last Day.“.

The Notorious B.I.G. channel is the official YouTube home of The Notorious B.I.G. featuring his catalog of official music videos. The Notorious B.I.G. is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential rappers and has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. alone. Before his murder in 1997, Christopher Wallace recorded two classic albums as The Notorious B.I.G. His debut Ready to Die arrived in 1994 and helped revitalize the East Coast rap scene with massive hits like “Big Poppa” and “Juicy.” Life After Death was released in March 1997 just weeks after he was shot and killed in Los Angeles. The record topped the U.S. album charts and featured the hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” It remains one of the few hip-hop albums to ever achieve Diamond certification from the RIAA.

Lyrics:
Square-shaped fingerprints
I am the humanoid
Draped in iron
Doomed to remain the unloved

Forsaken, no purpose
Sick to my plastic stomach,
I wish I was made
Human

The deafening sound of this machinery
Shredding my core, self-inhibiting
Dying for love, what’s behind this internal conflict?
It doesn’t add up, must be part of the script
I feel so disoriented, couple of lines are missing
Artificial, emerald heart is pounding
My faith in them has died
I’ve been left to the side
Made to serve, now I’ll be their demise

Tried playing god but it was not enough
I couldn’t see clear but it’s obvious
Too close to the sun
Synthetic love
Speak in tongues but no one hears me out
Watch the world from behind a shroud
Shout from the mountain
Wish I was made just a little more human

Built and destroyed by a sick society
What happened to your sacramental ethics?
Dying for blood, I’ll write my name on the walls of your streets
You’ll watch me rocking in my necklace of teeth

I’ll be the king of the kings
Raise a new nation to lead
Won’t stop till I got the whole world at my feet
Worship the messiah
The programmed miracle
Doomed together to burn, deathless, standing at the gates of hell

Do you feel the love?

Tried playing god but it was not enough
I couldn’t see clear but it’s obvious
Too close to the sun
My wings have turned to ashes

Tried playing god but it was not enough
I couldn’t see clear but it’s obvious
Too close to the sun
Synthetic love
Speak in tongues but no one hears me out
Watch the world from behind a shroud
Shout from the mountain
Wish I was made just a little more human
