I went to the "Pride Parade" in New York City and asked random people to sing with me. At first, Nashawn is quite excited to see my "Sing With Me For Free" sign. But, when it's time for him to sing, Nashawn says "My heart is beating so fast right now." Even through his nervousness, begins to sing his first few notes, and I start playing guitar. Nashawn gradually transforms into someone who is anxious to someone who is a strong performer.

As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me for Free" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

☞ About the set
Mochakk describes his musical journey at Plaza de España:
"This set has a name: Viagem a Sevilha, Portuguese for 'voyage to Seville'.
It’s an attempt to compile in 2 hours of music, the feeling of missing home in this tug of war between a calling and a career unfolding and living my young days with my people in my home country.

NO8DO is a love letter from a Brazilian visiting Spain and getting mesmerized by the beauties of Spain, but still being unable to detach from the feeling of home, the feeling of being back in Brazil. A reference to me discovering the world but still paying homage and bringing my country and it’s wonderful, vast & rich musical history, exactly like the end of this musical journey should be.

☞ About the location
The Plaza de España is one of the most spectacular monuments in Europe. Built in 1929 for the Ibero-American Exhibition in Seville, it is a unique palace-square square with a total surface area of 50,000 square meters. It is divided into three parts: a palace, a square, and a canal. Telling the story of Spain, this exceptional location is also known in the cinema industry, notably as the stage of some scenes of Star Wars’ second opus.
