This is the long awaited critical review of The Jam which draws upon rare footage of the band, previously unavailable , live at the Reading Festival, in performance in Germany and from British TV appearances from Top of the Pops and The Tube, to produce the first comprehensive, independent critical review of the work of this iconic band.
The Jam were an English mod revival/punk rock band formed in 1972 at Sheerwater Secondary School in Woking, Surrey. They released 18 consecutive Top 40 singles in the United Kingdom, from their debut in 1977 to their break-up in December 1982, including four number one hits. As of 2007, "That's Entertainment" and "Just Who Is the 5 O'Clock Hero?" remain the best-selling import singles of all time in the UK. They released one live album and six studio albums, the last of which, The Gift, reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. When the group disbanded in 1982, their first 15 singles were re-released and all placed within the top 100.
While the Jam shared the "angry young man" outlook and fast tempo of the mid-1970s British punk rock movement, in contrast with it the band wore smartly tailored suits reminiscent of English pop-bands in the early 1960s and incorporated mainstream 1960s rock and R&B influences into its sound, particularly from the Who's work of that period and also drew influence from the work of the Kinks and the music of American Motown. This placed the act at the forefront of the 1970s–1980s nascent Mod Revival movement. With many of the band's lyrics about working class life,[6] Jam biographer Sean Egan commented that they "took social protest and cultural authenticity to the top of the charts."
The band drew upon a variety of stylistic influences over the course of their career, including 1960s beat music, soul, rhythm and blues and psychedelic rock, as well as 1970s punk and new wave. The trio were known for their melodic pop songs, their distinctly English flavour and their mod image. The band launched the career of Paul Weller, who went on to form the Style Council and later his solo career. Weller wrote and sang most of the Jam's original compositions and played lead guitar, using a Rickenbacker 330. Bruce Foxton provided backing vocals and prominent basslines, which were the foundation of many of the band's songs, including the hits "Down in the Tube Station at Midnight", "The Eton Rifles", "Going Underground" and "Town Called Malice" mainly using a Rickenbacker 4001 or a Fender Precision Bass, as well as, on rare occasions, an Epiphone Rivoli.

Jimmy Page is one of music’s greatest guitarists, innovators and legends—Rolling Stone called him “one of rock’s most important and influential guitar players, writers, and producers” and ranked him number nine on its list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. He talks about his life and career as the groundbreaking guitarist for one of rock’s most iconic bands in a rare interview with Jeff Koons, widely regarded as one of the most important, influential and controversial artists of the postwar era.
His new book, Jimmy Page, the first ever by a member of Led Zeppelin, is his official autobiography, a photographic essay he personally created to tell his story for the very first time.

In this clip, Quentin Miller talked about his traumatic car accident which occurred after his first VladTV interview. Quentin opened up about his drug use back then and how that could’ve contributed to the accident while also discussing coming to the decision to amputate his leg.
He showed off his prosthetic leg and opened up about some of the challenges associated with his new body. However, Quentin talked about continuing to be in good spirits and how he’d like to be an inspiration to others going through similar situations. Later, Wuentin recounted his early days working with Frank Ocean when the R&B star went by “Lonnie Bro.” Quentin recalled Frank signing to Def Jam and taking off almost immediately after signing and changing his stage name. He also agreed with Vlad about Frank’s status as R&B’s No. 1 attraction.
DJ Kenny Parker (BDP) tells the story of the little known beef between Boogie Down Productions And Biz Markie. Also, some funny, never before heard stories featuring "The Biz".

They say hip-hop is a young man's game, and when this many real-life rap stories end in tragedy, it's easy to see why. Some artists like Juice WRLD passed away before their prime, but even the most successful rappers like Snoop Dogg and Ice-T haven't been immune to hardship. From riches-to-rags bankruptcies to murderous betrayals, these are the most tragic stories in hip hop.

Beaten, choked, brutalized, by the lawless patrol. Retaliate with force and valor. Claim the liberties that they stole. I have witnessed the storm of death that follows in their path. Consuming. At war for their sins, it’s ours to be won. Vastly outnumbered. Held at the throat. Trapped by the tyrants. Strangled by the sinners. Choked by the corrupt. Beaten by the bastards. Days turned to weeks, everlasting agony. Patterns of violence rain down on me. Dissension calls me forth, engage in pain. Take to the streets. Set it aflame I have walked on shattered glass. I have starved to transform. Call me a dreamer in longing for another world. Cleansing the streets with the blood of the bastards. No peace until power is surrendered.

LYRICS
I said turn it up!
It was just a Friday
She said she want take it back to my place
Mm, and I think that she like me
Exciting
Name ain’t even Kiki but she riding
Mm, she might get upgraded from side ting
Friday
She said she want take it back to my place
Mm, and I think that she like me
Exciting
Name ain’t even Kiki but she riding
Mm, she might get upgraded from side ting
Friday
Riding on me like a highway (aye)
We ain’t even make it out the driveway
And she just hit me up, cause she saw my band on MySpace
Now I’m number one in her top eight
I got a brand new pack (yuh)
Rock is the brand new rap (uhah)
She wanna break her back (uh)
Bang till I break my neck
Oh my god, how are you so genius
She said ‘please can I lick your penis
It was just a Friday
She said she want take it back to my place
Mm, and I think that she like me
Exciting
Name ain’t even Kiki but she riding
Mm, she might get upgraded from side ting
Friday
She said she want take it back to my place
Mm, and I think that she like me
Exciting
Name ain’t even Kiki but she riding
Mm, she might get upgraded from side ting
Yeah, yeah
Told her my way, or hit the highway
You were by my side but never really my bae
Caught me in my prime completely out your mind bae
Swallowing my pride, I won’t waste your time
You’ll be falling in and out of love
Put a smile on your face like makeup, tripping off the drugs
It was just a Friday
She said she want take it back to my place
Mm, and I think that she like me
Exciting
Name ain’t even Kiki but she riding
Mm, she might get upgraded from side ting
Friday
She said she want take it back to my place
Mm, and I think that she like me
Exciting
Name ain’t even Kiki but she riding
Mm, she might get upgraded from side ting

Take it down, take it down, take it down from the roof
Take it down, take it down, take it down from the roof
Wanna see you kiss me from the roof to the lobby
BLACKPINK - ‘Pink Venom’
Kick in the door Waving the coco
팝콘이나 챙겨 껴들 생각 말고
I talk that talk Runways I walk walk
눈 감고 pop pop 안 봐도 척
One by one then Two by two
내 손끝 툭 하나에 다 무너지는 중
가짜 쇼 치곤 화려했지
Makes no sense You couldn’t get a dollar outta me
자 오늘 밤이야 난 독을 품은 꽃
네 혼을 빼앗은 다음 Look what you made us do
천천히 널 잠재울 FIRE 잔인할 만큼 아름다워
I bring the pain like
This that pink venom
This that pink venom
This that pink venom
Get ‘em, get ‘em, get ‘em
Straight to ya dome like whoa whoa whoa
Straight to ya dome like ah ah ah
Taste that pink venom
Taste that pink venom
Taste that pink venom
Get ‘em, get ‘em, get ‘em
Straight to ya dome like whoa whoa whoa
Straight to ya dome like ah ah ah
Black paint and ammo, got bodies like Rambo
Rest in peace, please light up a candle
This da life of a vandal, masked up and I’m still in Celine
Designer crimes or it wouldn’t be me
Diamonds shinin’ drive in silence I don’t mind it I’m ridin’
Flyin’ private side by side with da pilot Up in the sky
And I’m wildin’, stylin’ on them and there’s no chance
Cuz we got bodies on bodies like this a slow dance
자 오늘 밤이야 난 독을 품은 꽃
네 혼을 빼앗은 다음 Look what you made us do
천천히 널 잠재울 FIRE 잔인할 만큼 아름다워
I bring the pain like
This that pink venom
This that pink venom
This that pink venom
Get ‘em, get ‘em, get ‘em
Straight to ya dome like whoa whoa whoa
Straight to ya dome like ah ah ah
Taste that pink venom
Taste that pink venom
Taste that pink venom
Get ‘em, get ‘em, get ‘em
Straight to ya dome like whoa whoa whoa
Straight to ya dome like ah ah ah
원한다면 provoke us
감당 못해 and you know this
이미 퍼져버린 shot that potion 네 눈앞은 핑크빛 ocean
Come and give me all the smoke 도 아니면 모 like I’m so rock and roll
Come and give me all the smoke 다 줄 세워 봐 자 STOP DROP
I bring the pain like
La tatata La tatata La tatata La tatata
La tatata La tatata
Straight to ya
Straight to ya
Straight to ya dome like
La tatata La tatata La tatata La tatata
La tatata La tatata
I bring the pain like
