A natural talent, Quando Rondo was once a small child, secretly singing in the bathroom as a 9-year-old boy in Savannah, GA. His natural gravitation towards music lead to him to hip-hop; he began recording his fledgling verses on his cell phone. He quickly gained traction online, racking up millions of views on YouTube.

Fittingly, he titled his 2018 mixtape 'Life B4 Fame' with the hopes that things would change for the better once his career really took off. He was right—within two days, his mixtape had amassed more than one million streams on MyMixtapez. Things will only go up from there, and if the snippets from his forthcoming Rich Homie Quando project are any sign, he’s only only getting better with time.

Born With a Broken Heart

I’ve been tryin’ to change (oooh)
Tryin to find somebody to love me
Oh Love but I end up in the same damn place again
Hopin I could be different
But I’d be playin’ pretend

I wish that I was perfect (just like you)
But I’m an alien
Oh love I’m sending out an sos, take me home
We’re not meant to be together, no

What if I said I’m trying
To save your love from dying
Baby I’m too far gone
Don’t wanna see you crying
But I just know who I am
Maybe that’s the hardest part ohhh
Baby you can’t fix me
I was born with a broken heart

If I was a cactus (ohhh)
You would be a balloon
Oh love
I wanna feel the same as humans do
I wanna feel the same as you, but I don’t

What if I said I’m trying
To save your love from dying
Baby I’m too far gone
Don’t wanna see you crying

But I just know who I am
Maybe that’s the hardest part ohhh
Baby you can’t fix me
I was born with a broken heart

Ahhhhhhh
Ahhhhhhh
I’m sorry
That I’m leaving
Ahhhhhhh
Ahhhhhhh
I’m sorry
We’re just different
But baby you can’t fix me

What if I said I’m trying
To save your love from dying
Baby I’m too far gone
Don’t wanna see you crying
But I just know who I am
Maybe that’s the hardest part ohhh
Baby you can’t fix me
Baby you can’t fix me
Baby you can’t fix me
I was born with a broken heart

Queens will always be infamous, so it only makes sense for Elliott to go see Havoc during hisNew York trip. Havoc recently announced that he and Alchemist will be releasing a final Mobb Deep album, with blessings from Prodigy's family.Elliott talked with Havoc about the great history of Mobb Deep, how Alchemist came into the fold, how he's still committed to the excellence of his craft, and how important this last project is.

#mobbdepp #havoc #elliottwilson #elliottwilsonexperience

This is a interview with Bang Em Smurf where he recalls the day when Notorious Stick Up Kid Moon and hew crew went on a rampage and robbed all of Queens. His run however was short lived.

Song lyrics:

MISS ME...
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND

I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND

BET YOU GOT A GOOD GUN
BET YOU KNOW HOW
TO HAVE SOME FUN AND THEN

YOU TURN IT AROUND
ON ME BECAUSE
I'M BETTER THAN
THE REST OF THE MEN

I SAY YOU'LL MISS ME
AND YOU ALWAYS DO
I SAY YOU'LL MISS ME
NOW WOULD I LIE TO YOU

NOW THERE'S
NO NEED TO DEMAND
GRAB MY GOLDEN HAND
I'LL TEACH YOU AND
YOU'LL NEVER BE SURE

IF THE WAY THAT YOU NEED
IS TOO MUCH LIKE GREED
DECIDE IF YOU ARE RICH
OR YOU'RE POOR

I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND

BET YOU MAKE THE FOOL RUN
BET YOU KNOW HOW
TO MAKE IT LAST FOREVER

BUT YOU KNOW
I'M NEVER REALLY SURE
IF YOU'RE JUST KISSIN'
TO BE CLEVER

I SAY YOU'LL MISS ME
AND YOU ALWAYS DO
I SAY YOU'LL MISS ME
NOW WOULD I LIE TO YOU

NOW THERE'S
NO NEED TO DEMAND
GRAB MY GOLDEN HAND
I'LL TEACH YOU AND
YOU'LL NEVER BE SURE

IF THE WAY THAT YOU NEED
IS TOO MUCH LIKE GREED
DECIDE IF YOU ARE RICH
OR YOU'RE POOR

BECAUSE THE LOVE
THAT I HAVE TO GIVE
MUST BE BETTER
THAN THAT KIND

IT CAN MAKE YOU RICH
IT CAN MAKE YOU POOR
BUT I KNOW THAT
YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND

I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND

I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND

I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME
I KNOW YOU'LL MISS ME BLIND

For decades, there’s been a long-running stigma against British rappers ..Especially in the States. The issue doesn’t necessarily come from their nationality itself because Americans have historically embraced anyone from the UK ..just as long as they’re fully “Americanized.”

But for British rappers whose culture hasn’t been shaped by an American upbringing, it often feels like they’re hitting an unfair ceiling when it comes to success in the U.S. And it’s definitely not because they lack talent. In fact, today, there are just as many impressive MC's coming from Britain as there are in the US, if not more. So how did we get here?
