Lyrics :

Chorus:

When you find the right guy you gon’ do everything for him
cos I can see you got potential, it sucks that your ex never saw it
I know you like guys with AP watches and foreigns
that don’t make you a gold digger, you don’t want a broke nigga
i’m here for it
why you on my mind girl it’s 5 in the morning
your ex hitting your line girl you just gotta’ ignore it

Verse 1:

You’re the one these niggas want but they can’t claim it
I asked her for type she said ‘not basic’
you ain’t a gold digger, your high maintenance
girl anything you want girl, just say it
I know you like that moncler jacket with the fur on
steak, that’s sirloin, start a business and try put your girl on
you’re all about your money it’s a turn on, I can’t lie
fell in love when I met her I can’t lie
made me spend my cheddar I can’t lie
you need a real go getter he ain’t got drive
baby you can do better don’t lower that price

Verse 2:

Cos you ain’t into all the fakeness, tell him save it.
different day, it’s the same shit it’s never changing.
you gave him all your time, you was really patient.
you just wanted reassurance, he never gave it.
your tired of the lies that he tells
now your on the flight to dubai with your girls.
you look better when your SINGLE! your looking MEAN.
now you wanna go tape, cirque & libertine
girl live your dream!

Lyrics:

[Intro]
No doubt

[Verse 1]
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Stainless steel gats, they never rust, fit to bust
You get touched, blessed with the real side of life
Just enough, you couldn't fight it with your strongest mic
Laid down nigga eyes, visualize bad reception
Major interference shoot your upper body section
I travel like a two-two bullet, throughout your body
Repped to the fullest, Queensbridge representin'
Presentin', the hollow tip crew
Loose lips sink ships, you talk shit I follow through
Once the kite is sent, I might get bent but still planted
No second thoughts, 'cause my conscience is demandin'
For the bloodshed (bloodshed), I leave that mug red (mug red)
I'm like cancer can't catch me cause I done spread (done spread)
Doorknob dead, enough said from the scene I fled
With the paranoid thoughts runnin' round my head
It's like that, war, project niggas strike back
It's on, what the fuck you said? I'll be right back
With the gat, and temper, end your motherfuckin' era
Your shorty set you up you better dead her
Hunger for the cheddar, big Benz or better
Armeretto sours, alcohol assumption
While you, runnin' we thumpin'
Due to the fact The Infamous is bumpin'
Ice grill, son you frontin'

[Chorus]
It's like that, war, project niggas strike back
It's on - what the fuck you said? I'll be right back
It's like that, war, project niggas strike back
It's on - what the fuck you said I'll be right back
It's like that, war, project niggas strike back
It's on - what the fuck you said I'll be right back
It's like that, war, project niggas strike back
It's on - what the fuck you said I'll be right back

[Verse 2]
Welcome to the fact that, here take that
Right back at you, I'm goin at Duke, already ran through
Wasn't hard to capture, what is it that your goin' after?
(What is it what is it?) My forty-fifth'll make your clothes damper
Put in the hamper, the fabulous Infamous movin' stainless
Crimes heinous, to all my niggas hold your bangers
Live in action, if you were dapped then relax then
The fuck you said? I'll be right back with MACs then
Blastin', tearin' up your Fila fashion
Give him what he askin', fill you in on what happened
Back at the cabin, be at the round table plannin'
To spread team across planet, expand shit
Slap a nigga open handedly style, somethin' foul
For tryin' to slow down, my cash pile a hundred miles (so what)
I can recall the days, juvenile crime pays
Fourteen years old, shorty from round way
Brick-ass cold, still pump from night to day
But why did my life have to be this way?
I rock Velour suits, flavors like mixed fruits
My loot give recoup, razors in my shoe
'Case they try to troop me to the Island
I'm known for start whylin'
Back in New York, my soldiers got the cash pildin'
Peep this, throwin' blows on some nose and teeth shit
So much drama, who the fuck knows we got beef with?
Lift you up off your feet like ski lift
Pull back the big fifth for niggas who riff, them niggas you with
Then I'm on the next flight, gettin' bent in the clouds
On my way down South for international crowds

[Interlude]
Word up, word up son, we gotta get this motherfuckin' money kid
Knahmsayin? What up kid? Fuck that son

[Chorus]
It's like that, war, project niggas strike back
It's on - what the fuck you said? I'll be right back
It's like that, war, project niggas strike back (fuck that, yo)
It's on - what the fuck you said? I'll be right back (word to mother yo)
It's like that, war, project niggas strike back (infamous, nigga)
It's on - what the fuck you said? I'll be right back (infamous)

[Outro]
Black Mac word up, word up, yo the maxin', pump relaxin'
Check it out son, word up, project niggas strike Back

Artifacts - Wrong Side Of Da Tracks Hotney 7 Streams • 2 years ago

From the 1994 Album: "Between a Rock and a Hard Place"...(Click "show more" for artist info)...

Artifacts is a hip hop group consisting of El Da Sensei, Tame One and DJ Kaos. They hail from Newark, New Jersey and made underground music that paid homage to the four elements of hip hop. The Artifacts' most popular single "Wrong Side of Da Tracks" paid special homage to graffiti art, as they were graffiti artists themselves.

They released their first album, Between a Rock and a Hard Place on October 27, 1994. Well received by underground hip hop audiences, it featured b-boy and graffiti themes. The album's beats were produced by Buckwild (from the DITC crew) and T-Ray (from the Soul Assassins crew). The Artifacts' second album, That's Them was released on April 15, 1997. It featured similar material, but it did not receive as much recognition as their debut effort. The Artifacts split soon after the release of this second album.

Tame One and El Da Sensei have both continued to release music as solo artists. In 2003, Tame One joined the Weathermen, an underground rap group including Cage Kennylz, Camu Tao, Aesop Rock, and El-P. Soon after joining the Weathermen, Tame One and Cage released the album Waterworld under the name Leak Bros. In 2009, Tame ONe collaborated with another member of the Definitive Jux label, releasing the album Parallel Uni-Verses with Del the Funky Homosapien. El Da Sensei has released a number of solo albums and collaborated with the Polish rap group The Returners in 2008, as well as East Coast-based group, The Immortals Project in 2009.

In August 2009 at the Rock Steady Crew Anniversary Weekend in Newark, New Jersey, Artifacts briefly reunited during a performance by El Da Sensei. According to Tame One the duo have not reconciled their differences but when he heard the horn riff which introduces "Wrong Side of Da Tracks", he felt like performing it. The impromptu reunion has not led to any official reunion.

On August 2, 2010 at The Rock Steady Crew 33rd Anniversary Celebration in Newark, New Jersey, both El Da Sensei and Tame One along with DJ KAOS performed officially as The Artifacts. They performed several songs from their respective catalogs as well as Artifacts material at this show. It is confirmed that they are indeed back together and in the process of collaborating on a new Artifacts album.

LETRA

¡Hey!

Mi soltería y yo ayer cumplimos otro mes

Ya me liberé de otro que me dejó en visto y del que siempre me contesta,
Para que gastar en gatos si puedo gastar en fiesta
Mi soltería y yo ayer cumplimos otro mes

El que se enamora pierde
Y con lo bien que me la paso
Yo ya no vuelvo a verte

¡Ey!

¡Échele viejón!
¡Dedíquela sin miedo!
¡Que suene ese requinto!

¡Wooh!
¡Wooh!

Mi soltería y yo ayer cumplimos otro mes

Ya me liberé de la que me deja en visto y la que siempre me contesta,
De la que quiere ver Netflix y de la que se va de fiesta
Mi soltería y yo ayer cumplimos otro mes

El que se enamora pierde
Y con lo bien que me la paso
Yo ya no vuelvo a perder

La que se enamora pierde,
Con lo bien que me la paso,
Yo ya no vuelvo a perder
