Got these bitches copyin’ my pose
Got these bitches biting on my flows

And I really write like fuck a ghost

Been getting them big checks, in a big house, having rich sex

Lyrics

Some things are long forgotten
Some things were never said
We were on one endless road
But I had a wandering heart

I said we were opposite lovers
Said it from the beginning
You kept trying to prove me wrong
Said you’d always see it through
And I know that I ran you down
So you ran away with your heart

But just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you

I know it’s hard to hear it
And it may never be enough
But don’t take it out on me now
'Cause I blame it all on myself

And I had a fear of forgiveness
Said it from the beginning
I was too proud to say I was wrong
Said you’d always see me through
All that time is gone, no more fearing control
I’m ready for the both of us now

So just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
Just know that I want you back
(Just know that I want you)
Just know that I want you back
(Just know that I want you)
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
(Just know that I want you back, baby)

Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you

Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
Just know that I want you back
(Just know that I want you)
Just know that I want you back
(Just know that I want you)
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
(Just know that I want you back, baby)
(Just know that I want you)
(Just know that I want you back, baby)
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you

Lyrics:
Boy, tell me can you take my breath away
Cruising down a heart shaped highway
Got you swerving lane to lane
Don’t hit the brakes
‘Cause i’m feeling so safe

I’ll be your baby on a Sunday
Oh why don’t we get out of town
Call me your baby
On the same wave
Oh no no there’s no slowing down

You and I I
Riding Harleys in Hawaii-ai
I’m on the back i’m holding tight-ai
Want you to take me for a ride, ride
When I hula hula, hula
So good you’ll take me to the jeweler, jeweler, jeweler
There’s pink and purple in the sky
We’re riding Harleys in Hawaii

Let me run my fingers through your salty hair
Go ahead explore the island
Vibes so real that you can feel it in the air
I’m revving up your engine
I’ll be your baby on a Sunday
Oh when do we go out of town
Call me your baby
Catch the same wave
Oh, no no there’s no slowing down

You and I I
Riding Harleys in Hawaii-ai
I’m on the back i’m holding tight-ai
Want you to take me for a ride, ride
When I hula hula, hula
So good you’ll take me to the jeweler, jeweler, jeweler
There’s pink and purple in the sky
We’re riding Harleys in Hawaii

Oooooooo
No, no
Oooooooo
(you and I)

You and I I
Riding Harleys in Hawaii-ai
I’m on the back i’m holding tight-ai
Want you to take me for a ride, ride
When I hula hula, hula
So good you’ll take me to the jeweler, jeweler, jeweler
There’s pink and purple in the sky
We’re riding Harleys in Hawaii

I’ll be your baby on a Sunday
Oh Oh
Call me your baby
Catch the same wave
Oh Oh
We’re riding Harleys in Hawaii

Norah Jones - I Just Wanna Dance (Live Performance) | Vevo Hotney 15 Vues • 2 années depuis

Norah Jones - I Just Wanna Dance (Live Performance)

It's nice to have your new record crack the Billboard Top 10 on its first week. It means that fans have probably been missing you a bit, and are definitely down with your latest ideas. Norah Jones befriended a massive audience early - 2002's 'Come Away With Me' sold and sold and sold, largely on the charming iridescence of "Don't Know Why." More than 10 albums later, the singer's new 'Visions' presents itself as the Jones disc that trades splendor for swagger. Still pop, it rocks out a bit, feels strongly about its own place in the world, and tickles listeners with a puckish sense of experimentation. Jones has always had a way with subtle R&B, and here she amplifies that prowess. As the songs unfold, they scoot away from the singer's standard fare, testing out tone and texture. The LA Times called it "a funky, gently psychedelic garage-soul record that puts her sultry vocals amid fuzzy guitars, off-kilter drums and crinkly vintage keyboards." You can feel a sense of daring in the music, and it behooves the array of performances. Jones has made official videos for "Paradise," "Running," and "Staring At The Wall." A Brooklyn resident, she hit our BK studios for a shot at "I Just Wanna Dance," which sets up a sweet little groove and rides it home. Rather irresistible, we believe.

Erykah Badu - Full Concert [HD] | Live at the North Sea Jazz Festival 2006 Hotney 7 Vues • 2 années depuis

Erykah Badu - Full Concert - Live at the North Sea Jazz Festival 2006

Date & Location: SUNDAY 16 JULY 2006 • NILE • Ahoy Hall, Rotterdam, The Netherlands

LINEUP
Erykah Badu (vocals); Eugenia Bess, Keisha Williams (backing vocals); Dwayne Kerr (flute); RC Williams (keyboards); Braylon Lacy (bass); Christopher Dave (drums); James Clemons (percussion); Burtron Smith (DJ); Kerwin Detracy Devonish (VJ).

Wiki:
Erica Abi Wright (born February 26, 1971),known professionally as Erykah Badu, is an American singer and songwriter. Influenced by R&B, soul, and hip hop, Badu rose to prominence in the late 1990s when her debut album Baduizm (1997), placed her at the forefront of the neo soul movement, earning her the nickname "Queen of Neo Soul" by music critics.

ABOUT
The performance of the eccentric singer Erykah Badu at the North Sea Jazz Festival in 2001, appeared, in retrospect, to be quite unique. Often she was supposed to come to the Netherlands, but in the end it always backfired. The performance at North Sea Jazz turned out to be a special concert. And her visit to the first edition of the North Sea Jazz Festival in Cape Town was also illustrious: a crowd-surfing Badu was, literally, carried by an audience that adored her. Erykah Badu is the most important representative of contemporary soul music, who has found her own niche in the record collection of both the trendy music lover, and the more mainstream oriented music fan. Her sensual quality soul, mixed with jazz and hip-hop influences, has produced two Grammy’s and various Soul Train Awards and still continues to find its way to a bigger audience. This because of the power and honesty in the lyrics of her songs, which - being larded with spiritual messages and a high dose of positive thinking - set an example for both black and white communities. Badu looks at the world in her own typical way: full of wonder, hope and realism. She draws her inspiration from various religions, philosophies and music.
