Lyrics:

You think you’re the hero too, I’ll be the antagonist
Had my Ivorian doll before I heard Miss R Fabulous
They think that this life that I live is so glamorous
Even on Fergie time they ain’t winning
Protagonist plot line is always defeating the villains

Say that you heard this line, it’s repetitive
I’m not a part of the game I’m ahead of it
Caught him and cornered the yute, made him header it
Am at the peak we gon’ send him to Everest

She wanna pay for the date I believe I’m a feminist
Art is subjective, I like a pretty impressionist

Don’t lie
Want neck come gimme that close line
I’m on the edge to 2 litre and slow ride
They wanna hop on the road for the fun of it
Having him broken down on the roadside
Covered in blood, do the ritual in no time
I want the rites of passage
Fill with the petrol drive to the countryside
We gon’ turn it to ashes

Filling my inbox with beats
Take me out of the rota

I’m at the table, flam is a floater

Never had faith in paloma

I got a rainbow girl, made her juggle the ball, and then do a rabona

Palpitations, give them a heart attack when I tell ‘em it’s over

Man of the hour
False start Asafa Powell

Listen to Cleo when I am in the shower, it’s soulful
Send the accountant the bill of whatever the cost will cover the total
Cover the price of tizzy, my niggas will cover the postals

Revenge comes in full circle the timing immaculate
Label side was inadequate

Rally for pay rise, I be an advocate
Two nil on the night and we drawing the score on aggregate
Want contact with a feature fee, Imma send it to management

You think you’re the hero too, I’ll be the antagonist

Had my Ivorian doll before I heard Miss R Fabulous

They think that this life that I live is so glamorous
Even on Fergie time they ain’t winning

Protagonist plot line is always defeating the villains

You think you’re the hero too, I’ll be the antagonist
Had my Ivorian doll before I heard Miss R Fabulous
They think that this life that I live is so glamorous

Even on Fergie time they ain’t winning
Protagonist plot line is always defeating the villains

J. Howell is what R&B has been waiting for—bringing that classic old school soul with the hip vibes that the 90s R&B/Hip Hop served along with those signature gospel runs. In his latest single, “Talk” he pens his thoughts to paper by revealing how love can take us on a joyous then drastic painful downturn when the love becomes one-sided and filled with blurred lines. He channels love’s emotional rollercoaster effectively with his passionate, seductive yet rugged vocals then Kyle Hippy comes in spitting blazing melodic bars. This is definitely a timeless track!

And this is just a sample of what to expect.
J.Howell’s upcoming project is bound to connect some souls, conceive new life, and create priceless memories for all music lovers.

“Music has been like a double-edged sword for me, but once I allowed my music to guide me instead of me take the lead, I found myself as an artist. I, now, realize that my voice is my talent and my music is my gift to the world. And I plan to invoke change—one soul at a time.” - J. Howell

Got my head in the clouds,
But my feet on the ground,
I’m stuck in my feelings,
Can’t run from my feelings, no
My minds override,
But my heart so deprived,
From holding my feelings,
Is it wrong what I'm feeling?

Let’s Talk about me baby,
And you darlin’
Talk about love
Talk about you baby,
What about me darlin’
What about us,
Talk about Love

Im realizing babe,
And I feel it
Is it wrong for me to get in my head?
Is it wrong for me to wonder what's next?
So lonely babe,
And I miss you,
Can’t even see the scars you left,
Don’t understand the pain I felt,

Talk about me baby,
And you darling,
Talk about love
Let’s talk about you baby,
What about me darling?
What about us,
Talk about love

It go like, Fact is , Loving accidents,
Shifted gash,Tinted past that’s yo back list,
Living lavish, Lowkey average,
On a raft, on the move, back to past shit,
She just, like it,
She just like it, Like the high shit,On a ride shit,
Despite it, she not righteous,
Want the prices, want the highest, I got it
Keesha Roll, I just keep her folded,
Momma know, I can’t keep no hoes,
Call my phone, I know that she going,
Don’t know where she going, She never alone,
We never could roam till visa crashed my life, My bitch she bad to bone,
she just might sell your life, yeah
My second impression wrong,
Might test the roads,
That second guessing zone,
That wisdom gone, it’s gone like

Let’s talk about me baby,
and you darling,
Talk about love, (oh love)
Talk about you baby,
What about me darling
What about us,
Talk about Love

J.Howell - Why You Hurting Me (Official Video) Hotney 12 المشاهدات • منذ 3 سنوات

"After the passing of my grandma, I needed to write a song that channeled the pain I was feeling but also captured the beauty that my grandma exuded to all those who got to experience her".

"This song emphasizes the need for someone to self-reflect and reaffirm to themselves their value and worth. No matter how much you love someone, if they are not ready or willing to make it work then you need to accept it and move on."

"I wanted the video to illustrate me alone with my thoughts and music. Sometimes we have to be alone and engage in those tough conversations with ourselves, and remove all distractions, even the person you want to be with the most."

(LYRICS)
What If I told a lie
What if held your heart in my hands
What if just loan my love
What if I
What if I didn’t care too much
What if I dropped the ball on us
What if I found somebody better instead
If you don’t love or care no more
deep in your heart like you use to
let me know i’ll be gone
gone this time for sure

I need you to hurry up and get over here
cause my mind and my body slowly fading
I’m trying not to be so impatient
But you hurting me
When you say you care
But you don’t understand
My time is precious and I’m not waiting
i’m with you next day it’s like we’re strangers
why you hurting me

you don’t gotta apologize
i’m not trying to start a fight
i just want to reconcile it
baby let me all inside
tired of trying to read ya mind
this time want you just be honest
Baby don’t lie to me
promise you’ll never leave
baby don’t let these feelings past
what’s it gone take for you to see
that your the only one for me
there’s no place i’d rather be yeah
If you don’t love or care no more
deep in your heart like you use to
let me know i’ll be gone
gone this time for sure

But I need you to hurry up and get over here
cause my heart and my body is slowly fading
I’m trying not to be so impatient
But you hurting me
When you say you care
But you don’t understand
My time is precious and I’m now waiting
i’m with you it’s like we’re strangers
why you hurting me yeah
why you hurting me
why you hurting me
