Uski Adaayein Dayein Bayein
Kaise Samjhayein Haye Haye
You Could Bring Your Crew Crew Crew

Lyrics:

Uh ah uh uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhahaha
Check it out
Flipmode squad
Raw deluxe sh*t
'98
Check it out

I be the street sh*t
The n*ggas your mama freak with
Put y'all n*ggas on it y'all know how to keep a secret
When I get money you know I like to keep it
How I get money n*ggas you try to peep it
Flipmode be n*ggas you wanna form a team with
Them get money n*ggas the ones to plot the scheme with
Them n*ggas that be used to getting money frequent
The ones that would always measure my triple beam with
Until they start taking my n*ggas to the precinct
That's all back in the day yo that ain't nothing recent
'Cause now-a-days it be bitches we like to speak with
Eat with
Lay them down and sleep with
Type of pussy make a n*gga wanna keep it
Shorty be so exotic she looking decent
Lot of corny n*ggas be offering wack free sh*t
I can't hold the heat no more yo I gotta release it

What ya'll wanna do
Don't you know we always coming through
Me and my crew
Let me hear you say fire it up (fire it up)
Say fire it up (fire it up)
To all my dogs that's straight blunted
Run around in the 500 all day
Let me hear you say fire it up (fire it up)
Say fire it up (fire it up)
C'MON!

Now, everytime that I meet a n*gga who fronting
It's alright 'cause you getting money and everybody want it
Smoke a big sliff
Get myself for a blunted
Fall on the floor and I gotta call my S500
Iceburg 5 where you at
No need for alarm
Right now I'm cruising to the sounds of my enhancing song
Hurry up 5
Ayyo you know it's about to get thick
I see this cat a way behind my back about to do a stick
Tell me where you at
I will be there in 10 seconds flat
You know I got your back
I'll be there just in time to counteract
Sometimes I'm unforget cooth
My S5 bulletproof
I turbo boost
And blast right through your motherf*cking roof
Coming through
Hitting you
Knocking out a n*gga's tooth
Full speed ahead like we running a toll booth
Produce more flavor than Very Fine juice
Call a truce
Before me and my n*ggas I'll let loose

All my ladies in the place to be
Getting money while they next to me
Let me see
Let me hear you say fire it up (fire it up)
Say fire it up (fire it up)
All my people just wave your hand
Getting money all across the land
One time
Let me hear you say fire it up (fire it up)
Say fire it up (fire it up)
C'MON!

Bleach the heat
You're letting loose to the extreme
Me and the Iceburg S5 bounce from the scene
Recline my seat rock to the beat
Leaning so hard, it's like my whole squad up in the Jeep
Blowing up the spot or we hit them know what I mean
Got you open we keeping you n*ggas up like caffine
Flying ghetto team
Seeing everything on my little computer screen
From here to Phillipine
Keep it moving we never run out of gasoline
Gas me you ossen a n*gga with kerosine
Me and my 5 be running some mission you've never seen
Hot sh*t making you n*ggas forever feen
Anyone of you coming, you better come clean
Hit you with an overdose of more rhyme and Phetamine
Got your eye blood shot you need Physine
n*ggas is wyling I think you need to read the sireen

What ya'll wanna do
Don't you know we always coming through
Me and my crew
Lemme hear you say fire it up (fire it up)
Say fire it up (fire it up)
To all my dogs that's straight blunted
Run around in the 500
All day
Lemme hear you say fire it up (fire it up)
Say fire it up (fire it up)
To all my ladies in the place to be
Getting money while they next to me
Let me see
Lemme hear you say fire it up (fire it up)
Say fire it up (fire it up)
To all my people just wave your hand
Getting money all across the land
One time
Lemme hear you say fire it up (fire it up)
Say fire it up (fire it up)
C'MON!

Busta Rhymes’ ability to combine the musical lineage of ragga with brilliantly original lyrics makes him one of the most respected MCs in hip hop history. After breaking with the group, Leaders of the New School, Rhymes released his first solo studio album “The Coming” (1996), which featured the hit single “Woo Hah!! Got You All In Check”.

His subsequent work has been met with cultural, critical, and commercial acclaim. His Elektra solo albums “When Disaster Strikes…” (1997), “Genesis” (2001), and “The Big Bang,” which debuted at No. 1 in 2006, represent just a portion of the prodigious artistic output that charted Busta Rhymes path to certified hip hop royalty.

Mos Def - Umi Says Hotney 9 Streams • 3 years ago

People's Party with Talib Kweli arriving soon!
A weekly interview show with big-name guests exploring hip-hop, culture, and politics.
1st episode on Sunday, June 9th at youtube.com/UPPROXXvideo

From 1999 Album: "Black On Both Sides"

Born Dante Terrell Smith on December 11, 1973, in Brooklyn, NY, Mos Def began rapping at age nine and began professionally acting at age 14, when he appeared in a TV movie. After high school, he began acting in a variety of television roles, most notably appearing in 1994 on a short-lived Bill Cosby series, The Cosby Mysteries. In 1994 Mos Def formed the rap group Urban Thermo Dynamics with his younger brother and sister, and signed a recording deal with Payday Records that didn't amount to much. In 1996 his solo career was launched with a pair of high-profile guest features on De La Soul's "Big Brother Beat" and Da Bush Babees' "S.O.S." A year later, in 1997, Mos Def released his debut single, "Universal Magnetic," on Royalty Records, and it became an underground rap hit. This led to a recording contract with Rawkus Records, which was just getting off the ground at the time, and he began working on a full-length album with like-minded rapper Talib Kweli and producer Hi-Tek. The resulting album, Black Star (1998), became one of the most celebrated rap albums of its time. A year later came Mos Def's solo album, Black on Both Sides, and it inspired further attention and praise. Yet, aside from appearances on the Rawkus compilation series Lyricist Lounge and Soundbombing, no follow-up recordings were forthcoming, as the up-and-coming rapper turned his attention elsewhere, away from music.

During the early 2000s, Mos Def acted in several films (Monster's Ball, Bamboozled, Brown Sugar, The Woodsman) and even spent some time on Broadway (the Pulitzer Prize-winning Topdog/Underdog). He simultaneously worked on the Black Jack Johnson project with several iconic black musicians: keyboardist Bernie Worrell (Parliament/Funkadelic), guitarist Dr. Know (Bad Brains), drummer Will Calhoun (Living Colour), and bassist Doug Wimbish (the Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash, Living Colour). This project aimed to reclaim rock music, especially the rap-rock hybrid, from such artists as Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, who Mos Def openly despised. What made Black Jack Johnson so anticipated though was not so much the supergroup roster of musicians or even Mos Def himself, but rather the lack of black rock bands. Following the demise of Living Colour, there were few, if any, that had attained substantial success. Mos Def hoped to infuse the rock world with his all-black band, and during the early 2000s, he performed several small shows with his band around the New York area. In October 2004, he finally delivered a second solo album, The New Danger, which involved Black Jack Johnson on a few tracks.

Two years later, after a few more acting roles — including the Golden Globe-winning Lackawanna Blues and the Emmy-winning Something the Lord Made, both of which were made-for-television movies — Mos Def released his third solo album, True Magic (2006). A contract-fulfilling release for Geffen, which had absorbed Rawkus years prior, the album trickled out in a small run during the last week of 2006. Bizarrely, the disc came with no artwork and was sold in a clear plastic case — though its single, "Undeniable," did manage to grab a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance. The Ecstatic, released on the Universal-distributed Downtown label, followed in June 2009; at that point, Mos Def had significant acting roles in Michel Gondry's Be Kind Rewind (in which he co-starred with Jack Black) and Cadillac Records (he played Chuck Berry).
