An ode to Cheikha Rimitti.

"Al Sham" - Lyrics:
خمرة الحب اسقنيها
جدول لا ماء فيه
عيشة لا حب فيها
و قلبي لا ماء فيه
اسقنيها
جدول لا ماء فيه

But I’m ready
Ready for the water

‏خمرة الحب اسقنيها
‏هم قلبي تنسيني
‏عيشة لا حب فيها
‏جدول لا ماء فيه

English Translation:
Give me to drink the vintage of love
A stream without water
A life without love
My heart with no water
Water it
A stream without water

But I'm ready, ready for the water

Give me to drink the vintage of love
It makes me forget the concerns of my heart
A life without love
Is a stream without water

Lyrics:

Let me make it apparent
All I’ve ever wanted I got it they said I was punching
Danny Aaron’s
I took off fast like McLaren the first thing I done bought mummy Palace
After the drip and badders
Think your opinion matters?
Only my Facebook mum’s wound up by you hating cunts and I know she a Karen
Ardz were you been?
In my yard with a drink
At the bar i put in
Still laugh when I win
My label knows that i hate socials don’t share half of my ting
I like puss tucked in and pink
Girls with a man turn Ardz on a bit
Like who would you rather then pick?
I call her E.T extra tight and her man ain’t harboring it

Single now
Gave too much good wood so the ex ain’t trust me fully
Too many people i muddle with she made me muzzle it
My ting an ex bully

Ha
Skinny white boys give good dick too girls couch for the woody
Pull your extensions out and spit in your mouth but you might not fit in my hoodie
I fell out of love the game
It ain’t like the start
The scene don’t love the same
Which cunt should I blame
The label gave me a check
It’s way over double they made
Charting ain’t why i came in
Fuck it i’ll take it
First hook I wrote
Straight hit
But you must have it Oliver twisted
I am the british rapper
I am the south coast geeza
Ex weed dealer
Smoke my prof never got ps up
Still go pub i don’t need ID
Made a mill when i was 18
Yeah i am the pop hit maker
Big piss taker
Chav from the park and the big bank breaker
The carpenter
Said i give good wood not flowers and even the radio ate up
I grew up on grime living outside of London
I dun been locked in since skep clashed devil dungeon
but they love chat shit so they wanna come with
Any violation run to with
To make it seem i cheated and never earned it
You hurt my feelings so i’m travelling the world quick
Used to proving it
nuttin new to dis
Versatile before carl knew the kid
ooo
Keep all the comments coming i love it it’s good for the interaction
Nowdays i got comets cummin
Fuck rockets
My chick games off the atlas
It’s no more talking now i’m not on it
this years it’s bout plans and actions
And sick your mum with your negative opinion
Go buy your mum a mansion

Lyrics:

[Chorus]
I still got anxiety, that’s why I keep it on me
Sometimes I feel like I can’t trust no one around me
There’s another side of me, but I don’t even show it
¢Cause I got way too many people eatin’ off me
Been through depression and I learned my lesson
So, I count my blessings and run it up
But I still got anxiety, that’s why I keep it on me
Sometimes I feel like I can’t trust no one around me
‘Cause I got anxiety
‘Cause I got anxiety

[Verse 1]
Yeah, overthink (yeah)
Conversation , complicated , consequences
People talkin’, ain’t got no patience
Just get that money and get that paper
And it don’t matter how I do it
They gon’ love or hate it
I’ve been going through it , got my mind racin’
And they gon’ have to face it
I’m destined for greatness
I’m in first place, they keep tryin’ to take it
Yeah yeah yeah !

[Pre-Chorus:Coi]
Been getting high to kill the pain
Yeah Yeah Yeah !
Wish I could make it go away

[Verse 2]
Yeah, they tryin’ to break me, I can never let it phase me
I gotta learn to embrace it, Won’t let it change it
Even when life get crazy, Ima always be the same me
Remember I was starvin’, had to get it from the bottom
Now I got all these problems, money can’t solve ‘em
But I bet the money off ‘em, gotta proceed with caution
They like Coi you wildin’, Ima go get it regardless
Too busy countin’ my pockets, I’m the hot topic
I’m the reason why they talkin’, only pop out when I’m shoppin’
Yeah, keep that thing on me, Draco 223
Nobody can fuck with me, my money therapy

[Pre-Chorus:Coi]
Been getting high to kill the pain
yeah, yeah, yeah
Wish I could make it go away

[Chorus]
I still got anxiety, that’s why I keep it on me
Sometimes I feel like, I can’t trust no one around me
There’s another side of me, but I don’t even show it
‘Cause I got way too many people eatin’ off me
Been through depression and I learned my lesson
So, I count my blessings and run it up
But I still got anxiety, that’s why I keep it on me
Sometimes I feel like, I can’t trust no one around me
‘Cause I got anxiety
‘Cause I got anxiety

Kanye Omari West or Ye has made an impact on the Hip-Hop/Rap world we will still see for years and years to come. He is one of the world’s best selling artists of all time, selling roughly 160 million records at the time of me writing this. Kanye has won 24 Grammy Awards tied with Jay-Z, notably winning the award “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap Performance in 2013 for Somebody is in Paris. At other shows, winning Best Rap Album for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Graduation, Late Registration, and The College Dropout and a plethora of other awards. West’s first six albums were included in 2020’s Rolling Stone Magazine’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time being in chronological order earliest to latest, The College Dropout (2004), Late Registration (2005), Graduation (2007), 808s & Heartbreak (2008), My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010), and Yeezus (2013). In the fashion design business, he has collaborated with Nike, Louis Vuitton, Gap, and APC, and is behind the Yeezy collaboration with Adidas. Kanye has not been one to shy from controversy, discussing his political values, race, religion, details of his relationships, mental health, and statements on slavery. So how did Kanye reach this point, and how much of the industry has he changed in 20+ years.
