Alan Walker, Putri Ariani, Peder Elias - Who I Am (Official Music Video) Hotney 18 Streams • 3 years ago

This was an emotional video to put together. Looking back at my career like this, I can only be humble, appreciative and truly grateful for you guys, the Walker community…

Thank you for all the moments, and for keep pushing me to do bigger and better things.
I dedicate this video to you -as well as my family and friends, who've kept me grounded for all these years. You’ve all made me Who I Am.

I hope you enjoy the video, and stay tuned for more... as I'm currently working on a performance video with Putri and Peder too. It's going to be very special. Can't wait for you to see and hear it!

Lyrics:

[Verse]
Don’t say this, don’t say that
I’m not playing by the rules
If they were made by you
I won’t break just like that
I’ll make my own mistakes
Till I’m wrong in all the right ways

[Hook]
Save all your tears
You don’t wanna waste them on me
I’m not gonna be just like them
This is just the way that I am
Head in the clouds
I do not fit in to the crowd
Baby it’s all making perfect sense
Cause this is who I am, who I am

[Verse 2]
Don’t say this, don’t say that
I’m not playing by the rules
If they were made by you
I won’t break just like that
I’ll make my own mistakes
Till I’m wrong in all the right ways

[Hook]
Save all your tears
You don’t wanna waste them on me
I’m not gonna be just like them
This is just the way that I am
Head in the clouds
I do not fit in to the crowd
Baby it’s all making perfect sense
Cause this is who I am, who I am

[Post]
If only I was wide awake
There’s more than I can take
And when you dive into the blue
I’ll be right next to you
I never wanna miss a thing
We fall in love again
You know I may hold on to you
Cause all that you go through
I’m with you

Lyrics:
Come take my hand, we’re all in this together
Come feel the heat, we’re melting away
You’re choosing death
You’re ignoring the facts and reality
Just fairy tales every day

Just close your eyes, keep dreaming
Of your promised land
You ignore the future
You don’t understand

Ohohooo, the end is coming closer Ohohooo
If you believe the truth, the liars tell
It’s the last three steps to hell
Ohooooohoo, head first in to the sulfur Ohohoo
This is my last goodbye, a silent yell
It’s the last three steps to hell
Three steps to hell

A blazing heatwave, won’t affect your slumber
You’re pleased as long as you’re entertained
No need to heal you, wake you from your coma
Enjoy your death serenade

Polar bears on melting ice, who gives a damn
Just close your eyes
New Atlantis, Amsterdam

Ohohooo, the end is coming closer Ohohooo
If you believe the truth, the liars tell
It’s the last three steps to hell
Ohooooohoo, head first in to the sulfur Ohohoo
This is my last goodbye, a silent yell
It’s the last three steps to hell

There won’t be another chance again
Another chance again
So say farewell to the world you were living in
It’s way too late to regret
We’ll pay the price for living in decadence
The world’s about to reset

Ohohooo, the end is coming closer Ohohooo
If you believe the truth, the liars tell
It’s the last three steps to hell
Ohooooohoo, head first in to the sulfur Ohohoo
This is my last goodbye, a silent yell
It’s the last three steps to hell
Three steps to hell

No no no no no no way
You no see it mad out deh
No no no no no no way

Things just ain’t the same, no mama
Son a turn scamma, shell down Alabama
Youth them get caught
In the Glitz and the glamour
Bricks and the hammers
Long clips full a ammo
Everyday is a drama, guard ring, body armor
Protect from everything except fi the karma
Man nah try look to no sky fi no Manna
Understandable who can’t wait till tomorrow
Or fi beg or fi borrow
That’s the horrible truth too
Government cyaa find a thing fi the youth do
Poverty no cute and you know that’s the root
A three thousand fi apartment a Ruthen Avenue
Everyone I assume want live comfortable too
Honest man look a work, sent him youth dem go school
But in a place weh you screwed if you follow the rules
Wha the alternative you think somebody ago choose

Because a 30 million fi a house up a Stony
Good ole days
How we fi live under dem standard you don’t say
No, no way
Haffi militant, vigilant, haffi whol’ it
Cause a no 30 million fi no house none at all
How we fi survive? Wah a gwaan down a yaad

A million is not a what it used to be
Farming use to power communities
A degree used to mean opportunity
Only thing man a read now a eulogy
Funeral parlor say business is booming
School dem get empty so prison is looming
Molly consuming, dolly dem grooming
Where do you run to? Like Lila in Blooming
But we haffi survive and we a put up a fight
Cah life haffi live and me say things haffi buy
Money fi mek and investments fi set
But even that under threat, financial sector a fret
I mean, what’s that about? Me see all Bolt make a sound
Can’t believe the people wacky dip inna him account
Look pon money a spend, European a trend
Real estate recommend, man haffi re up again

Because a 30 million fi a house up a Stony
Good ole days
How we fi live under dem standard you don’t say
No, no way
Haffi militant, vigilant, haffi whol’ it
Cause a no 30 million fi no house none at all

About Bad Boy Entertainment:

In 1993, Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, also known as Diddy, launched Bad Boy Records. Nobody could have
imagined the impact the label would have on pop culture. As a subsidiary of the larger Bad Boy
Entertainment, the label became best known for its signature sound of streetwise hip-hop soul and the
ghetto fabulousness that radiated like precious jewels from its very name. Bad Boy was designed for
those who aspired higher, but also wanted to party until the break of dawn. Puffy had seen life from
both sides of the class divide and, with his groove-heavy music, worked hard to merge the two. There is
no better visual embodiment of this merger than the groundbreaking videos that were in heavy rotation
on BET and MTV and now on YouTube.

The Bad Boy Entertainment channel is the official YouTube home of iconic music videos from Puff
Daddy, Craig Mack, Faith Evans, 112, Total, Mase, Yung Joc, Cassie, Danity Kane, and the rest of the Bad
Boy Family, and your destination for some of the biggest 90s and 00s hip-hop hits of all time like Craig
Mack’s “Flava In Your Ear (Remix)”, the Notorious B.I.G. tribute “I’ll Be Missing You” by Puff Daddy feat.
Faith Evans and 112, and Cassie – “Me & U”.
