Rick Rubin is one of the most influential music producers of all time — and he never learned how to play an instrument. From co-founding Def Jam in a college dorm room to reviving Johnny Cash’s career and working with legends like Linkin Park, Slayer, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rubin changed the sound of entire genres.

This video dives into how a man with no formal training shaped modern music, why his methods were so controversial, and how he built a legacy by doing the exact opposite of what producers were “supposed” to do.

Charlamagne Tha God is known to always speak his mind, and he's often very disrespectful towards guests of The Breakfast Club show, who are often rappers. Normally, when shown the usual disrespect, most guests let it slide, but sometimes, rappers especially have ended out checking Charlamagne, and letting him know that he can't get away with all that disrespect and crazy talk that he's notorious for...

Jodeci, the groundbreaking R&B group formed in the early 1990s, revolutionized the genre with their raw vocal talent, gritty style, and innovative sound. Comprised of members K-Ci, JoJo, DeVante Swing, and Mr. Dalvin, the group quickly became synonymous with the "New Jack Swing" era, blending soulful harmonies with hip-hop beats. Their debut album, Forever My Lady, was a commercial success, featuring chart-topping hits like "Come and Talk to Me," "Stay," and the title track, which earned them widespread acclaim and a devoted following.

Jodeci's impact on R&B was profound, as they introduced a new edge to the genre, merging street culture with smooth, passionate lyrics. They continued to dominate the charts throughout the '90s with subsequent albums Diary of a Mad Band and The Show, the After Party, the Hotel, solidifying their status as R&B icons.

However, the group's journey wasn't without its challenges. Internal conflicts and struggles with fame led to a hiatus in the late '90s, leaving fans yearning for their return. Despite these setbacks, Jodeci's influence on the music industry is undeniable, inspiring a generation of artists and leaving a lasting legacy in R&B.

Join us as we delve into the story of Jodeci, a group that redefined R&B with their distinctive sound and unforgettable performances. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more insights into the legends of music!

⁣Ralo, Tekashi 69, Wack100, & Dj Akademiks talk about Young Thug’s leaked audio, Gunna, & 21 Savage

After a string of successful collaborations, Tanzanian superstars Harmonize and Abigail Chams reunite for a deeply emotional and melodically rich new single titled “Lala.” This marks their fourth joint project, following fan-favorites “Closer,” “Leave Me Alone,” and “Me Too.”

Produced by Cukie Dady, “Lala” is a soulful of Bongo Fleva and soft Afro-pop, built around a tender theme of intimacy, emotional vulnerability, and timeless love. Harmonize pours his heart out as he sings about finally falling deeply in love expressing joy he’s never felt before and a desire to spend forever with his partner. His words, “You smell like honey, you're the only one,” paint a vivid picture of romantic admiration.

Abigail Chams responds with heartfelt emotion, sharing the internal conflict of trying to resist love but ultimately surrendering to it. Her vocals are soft yet striking as she confesses, “Why ghafla nakuita honey hivi mapenzi kitu gani, I don’t know why.” There’s a sense of honesty and youthful vulnerability in her delivery, making the record even more relatable.

The chorus, “Kifuani lalaa usinzie” (Lay on my chest, Fall asleep), becomes a comforting refrain a symbolic invitation into a safe space of love, peace, and emotional connection.

With unmatched chemistry and heartfelt storytelling, Harmonize and Abigail Chams once again deliver a song that resonates deeply. “Lala” is not just a duet it's a musical embrace that reminds listeners of the beauty of finding love, and the comfort of being seen, heard, and held.

Lyrics:

If I apologized a million times
And if I wrote you like a billion rhymes would you stay?
Tell me if I’m still your favourite girl
Just say the word and I will give you the world
I know you like the finer things in life
Just leave with me tonight
I’ll show you what it’s like
You know my style
You know whatever’s mine is yours
You know my style and I love Christian Dior

That New Bottega
My baby only wears couture
Back as a kid I used to dream I’d be a hustler
You know my style
You know whatever’s mine is yours
You know my style and I love Christian Dior

Whatever’s mine is yours (repeated)
You know my style and I love Christian Dior

If I apologized a million times
And if I wrote you like a billion rhymes would you stay?
Tell me if I’m still your favourite girl
Just say the word and I will give you the world
I know you like the finer things in life
Just leave with me tonight
I’ll show you what it’s like
You know my style
You know whatever’s mine is yours
You know my style and I love Christian Dior

That New Bottega
My baby only wears couture
Back as a kid I used to dream I’d be a hustler
I watched my mother
For years I saw her suffer
I knew one day I’d grow and take us out the struggle yeah
Surprise I’m famous
And I need somewhere to spend these cheques
So if you’re blameless
Don’t tell me I’m forgotten yet
I know you need me yeah I know you’re feeling tired
I’ll change your life if you just leave with me tonight

If I apologized a million times
And if I wrote you like a billion rhymes would you stay?
Tell me if I’m still your favourite girl
Just say the word and I will give you the world
I know you like the finer things in life
Just leave with me tonight
I’ll show you what it’s like
You know my style
You know whatever’s mine is yours
You know my style and I love Christian Dior

That New Bottega
My baby only wears couture
Back as a kid I used to dream I’d be a hustler
You know my style
You know whatever’s mine is yours
You know my style and I love Christian Dior
