Can’t Use Me Lyrics:
[Chorus]
It’s crazy how the money makes the lies feel like the truth
And everybody phony you just do not have the proof
I jot it on my pad and record it in booth
I don’t need a shrink
Just press record and let me loose
I’m tryna separate all these emotions that I’m guarded with
I’m getting mixed emotions from the people that I started with
Feeling like it’s fake love, only for the sponsorships
Scratch em off the dean's list, cancel all the scholarships

[Verse 1]
I can’t let you use me
Flattery don’t move me
Say action, they capping, like acting in movies
Fake s**t, I hate it ‘cause I give the true me
It’s sad when the grown men who act like the groupies
I can feel these n****s hating
Tummy ache because they snaking
Crawling on the belly, undercut for information
Man these n****s super different
They gon’ make me come and shake em
Kick em off the court and call the 6th man to replace em
I’ma m***********g bully, like a killer but adjacent
‘Cause I don’t gotta shoot you to show you I ain’t playing
Got the big devil horns, love the lord, but can be satan
Leave a n***a stanking then Febreze the situation

[Verse 2]
We ain’t got trust, we ain’t got s**t n***a, that’s on the gang
I would die for you but tell me would you do the same
N****s will kill for you, steal from you, keep a straight face
Don’t let a snake invade your circle, keep a close space
And if you my dawg then why you think I can set you up
You ain’t really my dog, if you ain’t gon’ speak up
Worst thing that’s gon’ happen is we prolly gon’ knuckle up
But you my n***a no matter who won the scuffle bra
It’s a different kinda vibe when you dealing with your real guys
Only day ones, just the ones that’s for life
Stepping on some big necks
Never capping stay light
Please don’t make slide n****s
Shots will get your steps right

#Morray #BadSituations

Morray - Bad Situations Lyrics:
I done been in bad situations
And now a n**** up now

I done been in bad situations, now a n**** up now
Plenty times I thought I wouldn't make it, life isn't so tough now
I just stood tall with them, hitting at my knees
I can only thank God for Him choosing to save me

Eating bacon with the grits, my breakfast is so legit
N***** gettin' hella money I'm rarely payin' the rent
Now my bills super paid, I'm workin' like I'm a slave
But it's okay 'cause my money blowin' up like it's a grenade
Gettin' stupid paid but I tell these n***** to watch me
I would never ever let a pu*** n**** stop me
Gettin 'money I'm talking 'bout all the profits
Money fall out the wallet, they know when a n**** got it
I'm gettin' big bread, your b**** givin' me big head
Full belly, f*** hunger, a n**** gon' stay fed
Big dreams and visions, I gotta stay ahead
Bad b***hes with big booties makin' a mess, yeah
Done with the mopin', I'm done with the hopin', I'ma change s***
Bein' too relaxed, can really end up bein' dangerous
Money only made it harder to deal with the lame s***
Tryna be different but still end up doin' the same s***

I done been in bad situations, now a n**** up now
Plenty times I thought I wouldn't make it, life isn't so tough now
I just stood tall with them, hitting at my knees
I can only thank God for Him choosing to save me

Hey mama, we rich
Everything we got legit
'Bout to buy you a new Benz, hide your face in the tint
You will never have to stress about a dollar or a cent
Lady I got you 'til the end, that's on all three of my kids
Not one for the dramatics but I'm checkin' my schematics
'Cause it seem like everything is finally fallin' into place
Now I gotta take a stance, stepped up and I became a man
After failin' so many times and fallin' on my face
But I gotta smile 'cause I can't seem ungrateful
This is what I wanted, what I needed, what I prayed for
Now I can finally f***in' smile, b****, need I say more?
Yeah, they still suck, I'm finally happy and my heart sore
Heartbroken to pieces, unfoldin', show the creases
It's touchin' the funny bone, these n***** is so facetious
I'm steppin' in my role, now I'm practicin' what I'm preachin'
Colder than the winter breeze, never switchin' with the season

I done been in bad situations, now a n**** up now
Plenty times I thought I wouldn't make it, life isn't so tough now
I just stood tall with them, hitting at my knees
I can only thank God for Him choosing to save me

Lyrics:
Man, I use to be a sad cat, I want my dad back
Now a nigga having flashbacks, we never had that
This was way before the Snapchat and all the CashApp
I was wishing, could I smash that but I was laughed at
And yeah, I ran up on a bad track wish I could backtrack
Tell that pussy nigga, back back, I got a bad rap
Never leave us without my backpack, this ain’t no rap cap
Man, I came down to my last pack
I broke it down and I had gave my brother half that
Now I’ll never leave the fuckin’ stu, bitch I’m a lab rat
Watch the way I whip the fuckin’ coupe
I bet I’ll crash that
Got these niggas scared to bust a move
I’ll drop a fat stack
I love the way my niggas fuckin’ shoot
I call ’em mad max
Now who gon’ clap back
I might put on my black hat and let you know some fast facts
Ain’t never wear no snapbacks
I rarely use a hashtag
I had cut off a natnat
Don’t care if shorty ass fat

If you didn’t know me before all these roleys
Then you gotta show me
And now I got cold feet ’bout who came before me
‘Cause you never told me
I want you to hold me before I go OD
Don’t call on the police
Just keep this shit low key
You really my woadie
Take care of my OG
If you really for me

‘Cause I treat your momma like I treat my momma
We fucked up these commas
All type of designer, took you outta drama
When they couldn't find us
Put you in the lineup
But you outta line, bruh
Just give all your lies up
My nigga, your time’s up, ay ay
Big decision, I made my mind up, ay ay
It’s been a minute since I done cracked up
I know this shit get wicked
But this shit I ain’t sign up

Need be, I would do it over just to repeat, yeah
Please be on the same energy
When you see me, yeah
Need sleep, feel like I ain’t been to sleep in 3 weeks
Not once, I’m done
Can’t trust no one

If I didn’t proceed with what God told me
Would you ever know me?
(Yeah)
If you knew the old me, man, he was in so deep, they said it was O.V., ay
Say you want a front-row seat
Just for you to show free
Just come get to know me, yeah
Would you still have chose me if I was the poor me?
Guess we’ll never know, B
Keep ballin' like Kobe

Need be, I would do it over just to repeat, yeah
Please be on the same energy
When you see me, yeah
Need sleep, feel like I ain’t been to sleep in 3 weeks
Not once, I’m done
Can’t trust no one

Lyrics:
Like a ship without a compass, I'm adrift at sea
Doubting if I'll ever reach the horizon, where my dreams will be
I try to light the way, but the wind will always blow
feel like I'll always be in second place, wherever I go

Every time I try, I feel like a bird with broken wings
Flapping and struggling, that never takes off still bound to strings
People tell me I soar, but I can't shake off the fear
That I'll always be stuck here, year after year

Chorus:
Doubting myself every day and night
Can I do better?
Scream into the dark, I’m not alright
Can I do better?
Can I do better than this?

In a sea of stars, I'm just a small flame
Flickering and dancing, but never the same
Feeling lost, like I don't have a place
In this world where everyone shines with grace

Can I do better?
Can I do better than this?

Chorus:
Doubting myself every day and night
Can I do better?
Scream into the dark, I’m not alright
Can I do better?
Can I do better than this?

Like a ship without a compass, I'm adrift at sea
Doubting if I'll ever reach the horizon, where my dreams will be
I try to light the way, but the wind will always blow
feel like I'll always be in second place, wherever I go

I give it all, like a seed in the ground
But it seems like I'm stuck, never reached the sound
Of what I am craving,
No matter how hard I try,
always one step behind

Chorus:
Doubting myself every day and night
Can I do better?
Scream into the dark, I’m not alright
Can I do better?
Can I do better than this?
Can I do better than this?

Fever Ray in Passengers - ARTE Concert Hotney 3 Streams • 3 years ago

#FEVERRAY #PASSENGERS

Fanny - Hey Bulldog (1971) | LIVE Hotney 7 Streams • 3 years ago

LYRICS (elyrics.net)
----------------------------------------------------
Sheepdog
Standing in the rain
Bullfrog
Doing it again
Some kind of happiness is measured out in miles
What makes you think you're something special when you smile?

Child-like
No one understands
Jack knife
In your sweaty hands
Some kind of innocence is measured out in years
You don't know what it's like to listen to your fears

You can talk to me
You can talk to me
You can talk to me
If you're lonely you can talk to me

Hedgehog
Living in the sand
Leapfrog
Giving him a hand
Some kind of attitude is measured out inside
You think you're going but you haven't got a ride

You can talk to me
You can talk to me
You can tal to me
If you're lonely you can talk to me
Big man
Walking in the park
Wigwam
Frightened of the dark
Some kind of solitude is measured out in you
You think you know me but you haven't got a clue

You can talk to me
You can talk to me
You can talk to me
If you're lonely you can talk to me

Wahoo woof! Woof!
Hey bulldog! Hey bulldog!
Hey bulldog! Hey bulldog!

Hey man, what's that boy?
Woof!
What do you say?
I said "woof!"
You know anymore?
Wooaah ha ha ha!
You've got it, that's it, you had it!
That's it, man, woo!
That's it! You've got it!
Don't look at me man, I only have ten children
Ah ho! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Quiet boy, quiet!
Okay
Quiet!

Hey bulldog!
Hey bulldog!

Fanny was an American all-female band, active in the early 1970s. They were one of the first notable rock groups to be made up entirely of women, the third to sign with a major label (after Goldie & the Gingerbreads and the Pleasure Seekers), and the first to release an album on a major label (in 1970). They achieved two top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and released five albums.

Sisters June Millington (born April 14, 1948, Manila, Philippines) and Jean Millington (born May 25, 1949, Manila, Philippines) moved with their family from the Philippines to Sacramento, California in 1961. In high school they formed an all-girl band called the Svelts with June on guitar, Jean on bass, Addie Lee on guitar, and Brie Brandt on drums. Brandt was later replaced by Alice de Buhr (born September 4, 1949, Mason City, Iowa). When the Svelts disbanded, de Buhr and Lee formed another all-female group called Wild Honey. The Millington sisters later joined this band, which played Motown covers and eventually moved to Los Angeles.

In January 1970, Nickey Barcley was asked to join Fanny as a singer and keyboardist. She was one of the main songwriters and lead singers in the group, and appeared on all their albums, adding soul, blues and funk influences to the group's overall sound.

Push Lyrics

A woman’s intuition is heavy like the snow
Come and lets my grass grow
Watch me lose control
When you touch my body
I feel it in my soul
Come give me this fever
I wanna feel it in my bones
Mmm

Push it, push it, push it, push it, push it, push it, push it, push it, watch me
Push it, push it yeah, push it, push it watch me push it, push it, push it, push it

V2 (Omah Lay)

Mother's Finest - Live At Rockpalast 1978 (Full Concert) Hotney 7 Streams • 3 years ago

Get your CD/DVD Boxset or stream the album here: https://bfan.link/Mother-s-Fin....est-Live-at-Rockpala

By the 1970s, taboos were beginning to fall from society, but many taboos were still firmly in place.

In 1977 Mother’s Finest released their now much-sought after album “Mother’s Finest” that included the song “Niggizz Can’t Sing Rock And Roll”. This title shocked and scandalized the church community:

An influential and powerful preacher read the band the riot act and so they decided to remove the song from their live act.

The song, however, exactly expressed what the group felt: The band founders wanted to create a mixture of black funk and white rock ‘n’ roll, so as to win over black and white audiences.

Sitting in Christian Wagner’s car (Christian Wagner was Rockpalast’s director from the very start) we heard their song “Fire” (1976) on the radio for the first time and we decided that this band has to perform at Rockpalast.

In the night between 15 and 16 February 1978 we received the written okay in a discotheque in Atlanta, Georgia.

The boxing match of the previous evening also involved the hopes of blacks and whites: Muhammad Ali had lost his world champion title to Leon Spinks. The spirit of the times can be best described by my experience in a bar in Atlanta where I was watching the transmission: The white “redneck audience” was glad that the loudmouthed boxer they still enjoyed calling by his slave name Cassius Clay, was beaten.

Not really the best conditions for the success of a band made up of black and white musicians.

When Mother’s Finest opened the second Rockpalast Night on 4 March 1978 at the Grugahalle in Essen, they were completely unknown in Europe.

That evening, however, they achieved cult status – a status they have kept until today.

Mother’s Finest overwhelmed the unsuspecting audience with songs typical for their style: “Give You All The Love” (1977), “Baby Love” (1977) and “Mickey’s Monkey” (1978), the last a cover of the Holland/Dozier/Holland song which Smokey Robinson & The Miracles made popular in 1969.

It is played at every concert of Mother’s Finest and shows the band’s deep roots in that kind of black music, which was mainly released by Tamala-Motown at that time.

Years full of changes followed. In 1984 the band split up.

Joyce Kennedy went on to a successful solo career. 25 years after their legendary conquest of Europe, Mother’s Finest once again performed at Rockpalast – and almost with the same line up.

On 20th July 2003 they played a concert at Satzvey Castle which included classics as well as exiting new numbers.
Both of these concerts are presented here in full!
