LETRA

Llora
Ahora prefiero estar sola

Llora
Ahora prefiero estar sola
El karma te va a devolver pa'trá'
Real Hasta La Muerte y te volviste na'
Te volviste na'

LYRICS:

(sexually liberated women-)

(My God! My God! Oh my God! My God!)

If I got one shot to do what I want to

Be real, and tell you I want you

Lord knows that I’ll never bite my tongue

Two hearts, electric and eager,

One touch and I’m a believer

You got me coming all undone

Baby, I’m confessing

Like how you undressing

It could be a blessing if we do it right

If you keep it up imma see the light

Open up the gates to my paradise like

My God! My God! Oh! My God! My God!

Taking me to heaven when I feel you breathe

Singing like an angel got me on my knees like

My God! My God! Oh! My God! My God!

Bad Bitch, I crack whips I’m bossy

But you know the way to unlock me

Render me tender like a lamb

Nothing compares to the feeling

Surrendering to your healing

I’m melting in your mighty hands

Got me falling for your power

Hot and sticky in the shower

Hallelujah! say it louder

I just wanna be ya-

I just wanna be ya, be ya

I just wanna be devoured

Hot and sticky in the shower

Hallelujah! say it louder

If you keep it up imma see the light

Open up the gates to my paradise like

My god, my god oh

My God, my God, my God!

If you keep it up imma see the light

Open up the gates to my paradise like

My God! My God! Oh! my God! My God!

Taking me to heaven when I feel you breathe

Singing like an angel got me on my knees like

My God! My God! Oh! my God! My God!

Got me falling for your power

Hot and sticky in the shower

Hallelujah! say it louder

I just wanna be ya-

I just wanna be ya, be ya

If you keep it up imma see the light

Open up the gates to my paradise like

My God! My God! oh! my God! My God!

~~~~~ Lyrics ~~~~~
Baby, it’s kind of crazy
How else to phrase it?
With you I’ve lost my senses
Baby, what happened to ya?
I thought I knew ya
But now it’s time to face it
Ya hot and cold, high and you’re low, messin' with my mind
No oh oh, that’s not how it goes, so let me spell it out
Now I’m better solo, solo
I never let me down didi down down down
and now I’m gonna show ya, show ya
show you what it is you're missing out
Now I’m better solo, solo
I never let me down down didi down down down
Now I’m gonna show ya, show ya
How I be getting down (solo)
Tell me, now was it worth it?
Playin’ me dirty, but now who’s laughing baby?
Watch me, all eyes on me now
Bet you regret how
What goes around comes around
Ya hot and cold, high and you’re low, messin' with my mind
No oh oh, that’s not how it goes, so let me spell it out
Now I’m better solo solo
I never let me down didi down down down
and now I’m gonna show ya, show ya
show you what it is you're missing out
Now I’m better solo solo
I never let me down down didi down down down
Now I’m gonna show ya show ya
How I be getting down (solo)
No no, I’m going solo
(Yeah) ya better, better watch me now
cause I know how to let go
gonna make it, make it on my own
Oh, oh no, I’m going solo
(yeah) ya better, better watch me now
cause I know how to let go
so it’s clear to see I’m...
Now I’m better solo, solo
I never let me down didi down down down
and now I’m gonna show ya, show ya
show you what it is you're missing out
Now I’m better solo, solo
I never let me down down didi down down down
Now I’m gonna show ya, show ya
How I be getting down (solo)
Shyheim the Rugged Child: The Journey of a Wu-tang Affiliate | SWAY'S UNIVERSE Hotney 5 Streams • 3 years ago
Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Shyheim Franklin, better known as Shyheim, gained fame as a teenage rapper with his debut album AKA the Rugged Child at the tender age of 14. He rose to prominence as one of hip hop's brightest stars, being referred to as a "prodigy". Today, Shyheim is best known for his collaborations with the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, especially with Method Man and Ghostface Killah. He stopped by Sway In The Morning to talk about his journey from his early rise to fame to his recent Rugged Road to Recovery movement.
Shyheim's initial success was meteoric. Critics and fans alike were impressed by his raw talent and witty lyrics, and he quickly landed a record deal at the age of 13. His debut album, AKA the Rugged Child, was released in 1994 and was an instant hit. The album featured collaborations with members of the Wu-Tang Clan, and cemented Shyheim's status as a rising star. His follow-up albums, however, did not perform as well, and his career took a downturn.
Despite the setbacks, Shyheim continued to work hard and collaborate with other artists. He remained true to his Wu-Tang roots and forged strong relationships with the Clan's core members. In recent years, he has become an advocate for hip hop culture, using his platform to promote the genre's history and importance. He is a frequent commentator on hip hop news and culture, and has even started his own YouTube series called 50 Years of Hip Hop, which explores the genre's evolution from its early days to the present.
One of Shyheim's newest initiatives is the Rugged Road to Recovery movement, which aims to help those struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Shyheim has been open about his own struggle with addiction, and created this movement as a way to raise awareness and support others in similar situations. His YouTube series, "The Rugged Reality", is an extension of this movement, and features interviews with people who have overcome addiction and mental health issues. Shyheim's commitment to this cause is a testament to his character and his desire to give back to the community.
Despite his struggles and setbacks, Shyheim has remained a beloved figure in hip hop culture. His collaborations with the Wu-Tang Clan have become iconic, and his influence on the genre is undeniable. He has proven himself to be a talented rapper, a dedicated artist, and a compassionate soul. As he continues to grow his platform and push for positive change, we can only imagine what the future holds for Shyheim the Rugged Child.
In conclusion, Shyheim's journey as a rapper has been a long and winding road. He experienced early success, struggled with setbacks, and is now using his platform to help others. Through it all, he has remained true to his roots and committed to hip hop culture. Shyheim is a testament to the power of perseverance, and his contributions to the genre will not be forgotten. Whether he is collaborating with Wu-Tang Clan members or advocating for mental health, he continues to be a voice for change and progress. We can't wait to see what he does next!
Lyrics:
I’m working overtime
Tired of my 9 to 5
Tonight I'll Lose myself
In the lights
A quarter to midnight
Got nothing on mind
Dressed up so dynamite
Dynamite
Ooooooo
I’ll take you
To my paradise
Ooooooo
I’ll take you
To my paradise
I’m gonna kiss somebody
Drink that honey
Gonna move my body tonight
I’m gonna
Lose composure
Nights not over
Til it’s raining
Glitter, alright
Sliding through the silhouettes
Doing things that we’ll forget
Screaming out I will survive
I’m Gonna kiss somebody
Drink that honey
Move my body tonight
I’m technicolor dreaming
I dance in the spotlight
I know you wanna get closer
Underneath the neon lights
Don’t stop til I say it’s over
Just want a touch of emotion
Let me get lost in the moment
Ooooooo
I’ll take you
To my paradise
Ooooooo
I’ll take you
To my paradise
I’m gonna kiss somebody
Drink that honey
Gonna move my body tonight
I’m gonna
Lose composure
Nights not over
Til it’s raining
Glitter, alright
Sliding through the silhouettes
Doing things that we’ll forget
Screaming out I will survive
I’m Gonna kiss somebody
Drink that honey
Move my body tonight
Ooooooo
I’ll take you
To my paradise
Ooooooo
I’ll take you
To my paradise
I’m gonna kiss somebody
Drink that honey
Gonna move my body tonight
I’m gonna
Lose composure
Nights not over
Til it’s raining
Glitter, alright
Sliding through the silhouettes
Lyrics:
[Intro]
(I reminisce, I reminisce)
(I reminisce, I reminisce)
(I reminisce, I reminisce)
I reminisce, I reminisce
Uh! (I reminisce, I reminisce)
Yeah (I reminisce, I reminisce)
(I reminisce, I reminisce)
(I reminisce, I reminisce)
[Verse 1: C.L. Smooth]
I reminisce for a spell, or shall I say think back
Twenty-two years ago to keep it on track
The birth of a child on the 8th of October
A toast, but my granddaddy came sober
Countin' all the fingers and the toes
Now I suppose you hope the little black boy grows
Huh, eighteen years younger than my mama
But I rarely got beatings 'cause the girl loved drama
In single parenthood, there I stood
By the time she was 21, had another one
This one's a girl, let's name her Pam
Same father as the first, but you don't give a damn
Irresponsible, plain not-thinking
Papa said chill but the brother keep winking
Still he won't down you or tear out your hide
On your side while the baby maker slide
But mama got wise to the game
The youngest of five kids, hon here it is
After 10 years without no spouse
Momma's gettin married and a house
Listen, positive over negative for the women and master
Mother Queen's rising a chapter
Déjà vu, tell you what I'm gonna do
When they reminisce over you, my God
[Bridge 1: Pete Rock]
My God
It's so
Yeah, so lovely
That's how we like to do it in the 90's
Pete Rock & CL Smooth comin' atcha
[Verse 2: C.L. Smooth]
When I date back I recall a man off the family tree
My right hand Poppa Doc I see
Took me from a boy to a man so I always had a father
When my biological didn't bother
Taking care of this, so who am I to bicker
Not a bad ticker but I'm clocking pop's liver
But you can never say that his life is through
Five kids at 21 believe he got a right too
Here we go while I check the scene
With the Portuguese Lover at the age of 14
The same age, front page, no fuss
But I bet you all your dough they live longer than us
Never been senile, that's where you're wrong
But give the man a taste and he's gone
Noddin' off, sleep to a jazz tune
I can hear his head banging on the wall in the next room
I get the pillow and hope I don't wake him
For this man do cuss, hear it all in verbatim
Telling me how to raise my boy unless he's taking over
I said pop maybe when you're older
We laughed all night about the hookers at the party
My old man standing, yelling "Good God Almighty"
Use your condom, take sips of the brew
When they reminisce over you, for real
[Bridge 2: Pete Rock]
For real, baby
Like that
We for real
Comin' atcha
In '92
Pete Rock & CL Smooth
Yeah, c'mon, hit me!
[Verse 3: C.L. Smooth]
I reminisce so you never forget this
The days of way-back, so many bear witness the fitness
Take the first letter out of each word in this joint
Listen close as I prove my point
T to the R the O-Y, how did you and I meet?
In front of Big Lou's, fighting in the street
But only you saw what took many time to see
I dedicate this to you for believing in me
Rain or shine, yes, in any weather
My Grandmom Pam holds the family together
My Uncle Doc's the greatest, better yet the latest
If we're talking about a car, Uncle Sterling got the latest
I strive to be live 'cause I got no choice
And run my own business like my Aunt Joyce
So Pete Rock hit me, 'nough respect due
When they reminisce over you, listen
[Outro: Pete Rock]
Listen, just listen
To the funky song as I rock on
And that's word is bond
I'm not playin'
Everybody, just coolin'
This song we dedicate
To the one and only
Never be another
He was my brother
Trouble T-Roy
It's like that y'all
And you don't stop
Pete Rock and CL Smooth for '92
And we out, later
Lyrics:
[Intro]
Hey, another one of them Flipmode joints
Busta Rhymes y'all, word mother y'all, check it out y'all
Just swing to the left, swing to the right
Make ya feel good, feel alright
One time, feel good yeah y'all
Busta Rhymes in the place y'all
Makin you feel real good y'all
Flipmode is the Squad in the place y'all
[Verse 1]
Buckwild to all of my niggas who don’t care
Floss like a bunch of young black millionaires
Makin ya run, me and my Dunn, stackin my ones
Floss a lil', invest up in a mutual fund
Blowin the horn, a sense of every day I was born
Never dream I see a nigga landscaping my lawn
Dangerous, my nigga shit be accurate
Have to get, the flow be so immaculate
Ayo, ayo, watchin my dough, sippin my Moe'
Slippin in slow, them pretty bitches sayin hello
Anyway go ‘head and diss, play your Oil of Olay
Little honeydip within a little Cariola
I don’t mean to hold you up but I got somethin to say
Swear to only give you hot shit everyday
Afraid of us, you know this ain’t no game to us
You strange to us, that’s when we gettin dangerous, come on
[Chorus]
This, is, serious
We could make you delirious
You should have a healthy fear of us
'Cause too much of us is dangerous
So dangerous, we so dangerous
My Flipmode Squad is dangerous
So dangerous, we so dangerous
My whole entire unit is dangerous
[Verse 2]
Hold your breath, we swingin it from right to left
Word to Wyclef, nigga shit be hot to death
Stayin Alive, you know only the stronger survive
Holdin my heat, under my seat, whippin my five
Bassline for all of my people movin around
Give me a pound, all of my niggas holdin it down
Cuttin you up, the new shit, ruckin you up
Fuckin you up, my black hole, suckin you up
Back in the days, a nigga used to be ass out
Now a nigga holdin several money market accounts
Blaze the street, and then I would just like to announce
Feelin my groove, my jigga jigga makin you bounce
Others is fair, me and my niggas breakin the bread
Straight gettin it, we got you niggas holdin your head
Afraid of us, you know this ain’t no game to us
You strange to us, that’s when we gettin dangerous, come on
[Chorus]
This, is, serious
We could make you delirious
You should have a healthy fear of us
'Cause too much of us is dangerous
So dangerous, we so dangerous
My Flipmode Squad is dangerous
So dangerous, we so dangerous
My whole entire unit is dangerous
[Bridge]
Throw your hands real high y'all
Yea, get down y'all
Let me see you all y'all
Busta Rhymes, Flipmode y'all
Nineteen ninety eight y'all
Ha, get down ya’ll
Let’s have a ball y'all
[Verse 3]
Feelin the heat up in the street rockin the beat
Step up in the club, take me to my reserved seat
Comin around, all of my niggas surround me
So much bottles of liquor, y'all niggas’ll drown me
Makin ya drunk, feelin the funk, blazin the skunk
Stay hittin with the shit that blow a hole in ya trunk
Afraid of us, you know this ain’t no game to us
You strange to us that’s when we gettin dangerous, come on
[Chorus]
This, is, serious
We could make you delirious
You should have a healthy fear of us
'Cause too much of us is dangerous
So dangerous, we so dangerous
My Flipmode Squad is dangerous
So dangerous, we so dangerous
My whole entire unit is dangerous
Busta Rhymes’ ability to combine the musical lineage of ragga with brilliantly original lyrics makes him one of the most respected MCs in hip hop history. After breaking with the group, Leaders of the New School, Rhymes released his first solo studio album “The Coming” (1996), which featured the hit single “Woo Hah!! Got You All In Check”.
His subsequent work has been met with cultural,critical, and commercial acclaim. His Elektra solo albums “When Disaster Strikes…” (1997), “Genesis” (2001), and “The Big Bang,” which debuted at No. 1 in 2006, represent just a portion of the prodigious artistic output that charted Busta Rhymes path to certified hip hop royalty.
Coming out of Queens in 94 as Irv Gotti's first artist Mic Geronimo burst on to the seen with his classic "Shit's Real". The songs buzz lead to Irv and Mic landing a deal at Blunt/TVT Records as their first rap artist to be released. Mic than began work on his first album. Titled "The Natural", the album was a collection of deeply crafted street chronicles accompanied with production from some of that eras greatest producers. Buc Wild, Irv Gotti, Da Beatminerz, Marc Sparxx, and Havoc of Mobb Deep all contributed powerful beats to the lp. Mic also shared the company of such artist as Ja Rule, DMX, OC, Royal Flush and Jay-Z. The album instantly became a certified street classic. Taking a brief hiatus after touring Mic then began work on his 1996 follow up sop****re lp. This time, Mic teamed up with Diddy(formerly Puff Daddy) for the first single "Nothing Move But the Money". A mainstream hit at radio, the song was one of 15 bullets in his second effort "Vendetta". Vendetta was a transition lp, featuring the likes of The Lox, Ja Rule, DMX, Kelly Price, Jay-Z, and Monifah. For production, Mic turned to Buc Wild, Derrick "D.Dot" Angelitte, Pete Rock, Irv Gotti, and newcomers Kaysahn, and Father Time. Again solidifying himself as a thorough lyrisist, and even compared to such greats as Nas, Big L, and even Rakim, Vendetta became Mic's second classic. Deciding to part ways with TVT Records in 2000, Mic went on to establish his own label Rebellious Music. Distributed by Warlock/Red/Sony Rebellious Music was the home that would release Mic's third lp "The Long Road Back". The 2003 independent release was viewed by many as Mic's most personal album to date. A collection of pent of emotion put to music, Long Road was a dark journey at a dark time states Mic. Returning to his roots Mic worked again with Ja Rule, and DMX. With production duties handled mainly by in house producer Jimi Kendrix, and newcomers Needles, and Dat Nigga Reb, the lp was a low key success. Collabo's included Tyrese Gibson, DMX, and Ja Rule, along with Mics artist Virginia's own Blade Brown. Mic also has appeared on MTV's reality series "Sex in the 90's" and Marc Levine's cult film "Whiteboyz". As of present, Mic is working on his 4th release and pursuing a career in television and film.
