You are a good thing, I’ve noticed, I’ve noticed
And I want a good thing with you
You are the best thing, and I’ve got it
I’ve got you
And I would do anything for you

And I will hold you
I will hold you
I will hold you
I will hold you
And I will hold you
I will hold you

You are a good thing, I’ve noticed, I’ve seen it
And I want the best things for you
I am a good thing, and I promise, you’ve got me
And I would go anywhere with you

And I will hold you
I will hold you
I will hold you
I will hold you
And I will hold you
I will hold you

I’m not the only body
I’m not the only one
I’m not the only body
I’m not the only one
Hold me, hold me, hold
And I will hold you
I will hold you
I will hold you

LaDonna Adrian Gaines (December 31, 1948 – May 17, 2012), widely known by her stage name based on her married name Donna Summer, was an American singer, songwriter and actress. She gained prominence during the disco era of the late 1970s. A five-time Grammy Award winner, Summer was the first artist in history to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the United States Billboard 200 chart and charted four number-one singles in the US within a 12-month period. Summer has reportedly sold over 130 million records worldwide, making her one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. She also charted two number-one singles on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in the US and a number-one single in the United Kingdom.
Love To Love You Baby' was her first big international hit. Produced by Pete Bellotte, and written by Italian musician Giorgio Moroder, Summer, and Bellotte, the song was first released as a single in the Netherlands on June 1975 as "Love to Love You" and then released worldwide on November 1975 as "Love to Love You Baby". It became one of the first disco hits to be released in an extended 12" form.

Lucifer - House for sale (12-04-1975) • TopPop Hotney 5 Streams • 3 years ago

Lucifer was a Dutch pop group from the 1970s, consisting of singer/organist Margriet Eshuijs, bassist Dick Buijsman, drummer Henny Huisman and singer/percussionist Julio Wilson. In 1975 they had a big hit with 'House for sale'. Later, when the band was less successful, Margriet Eshuijs continued with a solo career. In 1974 the group was signed to EMI.

Hans Vermeulen – gitaar
Jan Vermeulen – basgitaar
Erik Tagg – dwarsfluit, piano
Shell Schellekens – drumstel

The Bay City Rollers - Summerlove Sensation (1974) - Toppop Hotney 5 Streams • 3 years ago

A couple of weeks ago, on April 20, 2021, singer Les McKeown of the Bay City Rollers died. McKeown was born on 12 November 1955, Edinburgh, Scotland.
To commemorate him, we publish this video of one of the Rollers biggest hits.

The Bay City Rollers are a Scottish pop rock band known for their worldwide teen idol popularity in the 1970s. They have been called the "tartan teen sensations from Edinburgh" and "the first of many acts heralded as the 'biggest group since the Beatles'".

The group's line-up had many changes over the years, but the classic line-up during its heyday included guitarists Eric Faulkner and Stuart Wood, singer Les McKeown, bassist Alan Longmuir, and drummer Derek Longmuir. The current lineup (since 2018) includes original guitarist Stuart "Woody" Wood, singer Ian Thomson, bassist Marcus Cordock, and drummer Jamie McGrory.
The Bay City Rollers have sold 120 million records worldwide.

This video was first broadcast on July 15, 1974. On this Toppop channel there is also a chromakey version of this performance.
