You don't have to wait long for a signature Sleater-Kinney moment in the band's Tiny Desk (home) concert. Over the first half of the title track to Path of Wellness, Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein sing of human frailty and self-improvement, vibrating with low notes of disgust. Then Brownstein shoots Tucker a knowing smile as they sing, "You could never love me enough," and the pair, who have been making music together for nearly 30 years, start to unwind things: Brownstein hisses "I am on a path of wellness" through gritted teeth before ripping into a four-note riff that feels like it's pulling your guts out; Tucker sets her voice at maybe 75 percent howl capacity to sing "I feel like I'm unknown" and Brownstein still has to raise a hand to steady herself against the force. She can't stop grinning.

Tension is the heart of Sleater-Kinney's untouchable catalog, and Brownstein and Tucker know how to add layers to keep a song's meaning shifting. They recorded Path of Wellness at Halfling Studio in Portland in the midst of pandemic and protest, and returned to make this Tiny Desk. "High In The Grass" feels looser and hazier than on the album; "Worry With You" feels heavier. A treat for fans from the band's first decade: "One Beat" played with piano and bowed upright bass, making it that much easier to hear how, by the end, Tucker's pleas and Brownstein's yelp have been inextricably knitted together. Untangling things would be missing the point.

Taurus Tremani Bartlett, known professionally as Polo G, rose to prominence with his singles "Finer Things” and "Pop Out" (featuring Lil Tjay). His debut album was called Die A Legend.

In this interview Marco starts off with a lesson and display on Polo G’s jewelry and Marco also talks about Polo G’s record label. Marco immediately goes into Polo G’s lyrics. Polo G reveals he plays basketball for relief. The production crew gets confused thinking Polo G is Ja Morant, the basketball player. The confrontation is minimal. Marco continues with the random questions. Production interrupts the interview with a fan wanting to take a picture. Polo G reveals he loves the “Power” series. Polo G also reveals he doesn’t do adlibs. Production tries to get Polo to state he believes in aliens. Polo G also reveals his favorite video is “Finer Things” and has a video called “Bag Talk” out now. Marco does a rap drop for Polo G that goes on and on with multiple takes.

I have changed the title of this video from "This is NOT Pantera...The Reunion Tour 2023" to "IS IT PANTERA?…The 2023 Reunion Tour". After watching an interview with Zakk Wylde over the weekend, he has stated it is very much a tribute to Pantera and the Abbott brothers where initially it was being pinned as a "Reunion". I still stand by my statements in the video.**

On July 13 2022, Billboard magazine reported that Pantera are to reunite for a reunion tour in 2023. This would be the first Pantera tour in over 20 years.

Singer Phil Anselmo and Bass player Rex Brown have signed with Artist Group International in order to book the North American leg of the tour.

Whilst this may have some Pantera fans excited, there’s one very important aspect of this reunion missing, well, actually two. Vinnie Paul Abbott and Darrell Lance Abbott.

The founders of Pantera.

It’s widely accepted that Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell founded Pantera in 1981 when the brothers started jamming together as teenagers. And whilst bassist Rex Brown would be brought in on Bass for the recording of their first record, Metal Magic in 1983, Phil Anselmo wouldn’t appear on a Pantera album until the bands fourth studio LP, Power Metal, in 1988.

Pantera however didn’t receive any attention or commercial success until their iconic 5th studio release, Cowboys From Hell in 1990. This was their first major label debut and signified a turning point in the band's image and sound. It also became one of the most influential metal records of the 90s. Many Pantera fans also consider this to be the real Pantera and often dismiss the previous records.

"I’m SO HAPPY that I can finally announce that my album “Mid Air” is being released on 8th September!

The album title is inspired by the fleeting, weightless and euphoric moments I’ve had on a dance floor, connecting with people and processing emotions, before the beat drops and brings me back to reality.

Mid Air is a collection of songs celebrating love, navigating loss and exploring identity. It’s musically inspired by dance music, it’s is a love letter to the **** clubs I first went to when I was growing up and people I met there and the music I heard that has made me feel more alive and less alone.

“Loveher” is the first song I wrote that made me feel like I was ready to make a solo project, so it feels like a good place to start the album and to share now.

Loveher is an attempt to distill some of the intimate, delicate moments of the early days of my relationship. Of shared moments of navigating visibility and celebrating pride in our own individual ways. It felt new but also very honest to sing the words I love her, just a true reflection of who I love. 💕"
