JoJo ft. Bow Wow - Baby It's You (Official Music Video) Hotney 5 Ansichten • 3 Jahre vor

Baby It's You by Jojo feat. Lil' Bow Wow full screen high definition 720p HD

Lyrics:

[JoJo]
Oh

[Bow Wow]
Let's go, uh
Yeah, Bow Wow
Remix, Jojo
Let's go
Sing to em' baby

[JoJo]
Oh

[Verse 1: Jojo]
Can somebody explain to me
Why everybody is tryin' to be livin' like a celebrity
Doin' what they see on MTV
Ice is cool, but I'm looking for more
Simple things is what my heart beats for
Cause that's me
I don't ask for much, baby
Having you is enough

[chorus]
You ain't got to buy nothin'
(it's not what I want)
Baby, it's you
We don't have to go nowhere
(it's not what I want)
Baby, it's you
It's not 'bout what you got
I know you got a lot
No matter what you do, you always get it hot, it's you, it's you
Baby all I want is you, yeah

It don't matter that your car is fly
And your rims are spinnin' on the side
It don't matter where we go tonight
Cause if I'm with you I'll be all right
That's cool, but I'm lookin' for more (yeah)
It's your love that my heart beats for
Cause that's me
You don't have to spend a dime, baby
I just want your time

[chorus]
You ain't got to buy nothin'
(it's not what I want)
Baby, it's you
We don't have to go nowhere
(it's not what I want)
Baby, it's you
It's not 'bout what you got
I know you got alot
No matter what you do, you always get it hot, it's you, it's you
Baby all I want is you

Hey, yeah

[Bow Wow]
5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Baby girl don't care 'bout my dough stack
Cause she a down chick 'n she know I love that
She sees past all this Bow Wow stuff
Because she knows at the end of the day
That the only thing matters is us and
They be a lot of groupies on the road
But they can't do nuttin' for me
I got a good girl back at home
Matchin' charm bracelets and pendants
Whoever woulda thought our relationship
Would be so tremendous
And lately you been missin' me crazy
And anytime you miss me baby
Sidekick page me
I got a dimepiece, you know she da bomb
The type of girl you bring home just to meet ya Mom
I'm not Lorenz Tate, but I think I caught a love jones
Cause I think about her everytime I hear a slow song
And when she think about me
I think about her too (yeah)
When she ride for me baby, I'mma ride for you
Let's go

[chorus]
You ain't got to buy nothin'
(it's not what I want)
Baby it's you
We don't have to go nowhere
(it's not what I want)
Baby it's you
It's not 'bout what you got
I know you got a lot (hey yeah)
No matter what you do, you always get it hot, it's you, it's you
Baby all I want is you, yeah

About Steppah:

Sharon Marley's latest single, "Steppah”, pays homage to the classic dance floor days of rocksteady and rub-a-dub. Sharon's smooth, sultry voice invites us into a narrative that unfolds with the entrance of the quintessential Steppah—the original Jamaican 'rude bwoy' Big Youth, exuding street-schooled elegance, charming and untouchable, adorned in signature fashion defining his character.

In this rhythmic manifesto, Sharon's vocals seamlessly blend with Big Youth's legendary presence, honoring reggae's cultural heritage while ushering it into new dimensions. "Steppah" beckons listeners into the dance of life—a celebration of love and resilience, through the timeless spirit of unity and music. Complemented by Sharon's distinctive 70’s fashion throw-back, “Steppah” takes you back to the days of lover’s rock at a house party. As an artist, her bold eclectic style mirrors the vibrancy of reggae culture, weaving seamlessly into the visual and musical tapestry, resonating with the global influences of Jamaican fashion.

About the forthcoming album:

As the anticipation builds for her 2024 return, Sharon weaves a new musical tapestry intentionally recorded in the resonant frequency of 432 Hz, recognized as the "Love Frequency" for its proven healing properties, promoting a profound sense of peace, harmony, and overall well-being.

Sharon Marley's upcoming album is not just a musical journey but a spiritual odyssey—an immersive experience delving into the rich tapestry of her cultural roots. Each note carries the essence of her Jamaican heritage reggae, mixed with the global influences of jazz, rhythm and blues, making it a celebration of love, spirituality, and cultural mastery.

The Lyric League Series pulled up to Newark, New Jersey and the city showed out heavy. We linked with Piff James, who brought out a lineup of hungry spittaz ready to leave their mark on the cypher. From the first verse, the energy was straight pressure.

What made this session even crazier was seeing a 9-year-old MC step in with no fear and hold his own right alongside the older artists. That’s what this platform is about — giving real talent a place to shine no matter the age or background.

Everybody came ready with bars, personality, and something to prove. Newark definitely brought that raw East Coast energy to the Lyric League stage.

Now it’s on y’all who had the best bars?

Hosted by Da Inphamus Amadeuz alongside Tone Viera & Mrz Get@Em, The Punchline Academy continues bringing real hip hop back to the streets.

Lyrics:

I be doing sh*t I really shouldn’t do forreal
That why I always tell you come through forreal
After this time I’ll be through forreal

You and I know you ain't no good for me
But you feel so good to me
Everytime I come back I try to leave
So how you end up back with me
(I don't know)
This ain't what I want
This is something else
Something that ain't good for my health
And I been searching but I cant get no help
And I don't feel like myself

I be doing shit I really shouldn’t do forreal
That why I always tell you come through forreal
After this time I’ll be through forreal
After this time I’ll be through forreal

I be doing sh*t I really shouldn’t do forreal
That why I always tell you come through forreal
(WY@)
After this time I’ll be through forreal
(Bring me that)
After this time I’ll be through forreal

I can feel them walls closing
I can feel it all
I’m stuck in your claws
Try to run but I don’t get far
Imma put some blame on me
Tryna take accountability
But you take on my ability
You're the death of me
And the remedy
I be doing too much

I be doing sh*t I really shouldn’t do forreal
That why I always tell you come through forreal
After this time I’ll be through forreal
After this time I’ll be through forreal

I be doing sh*t I really shouldn’t do forreal
That why I always tell you come through forreal
Baby WY@
After this time I’ll be through forreal
Bring me that
After this time I’ll be through forreal

LYRICS :

A taste of bitter surrender
breaks through my tongue
My skin all shattered in gold,
defines the law of brutality
High as a kite,
floating under this city
Turn on the light upon me
if thatʼs what you dream
Who told me it was fine
to feel this void inside,
to strive to fill it up
with all the chemicals I find?
I sense a psychoneurotic need
to dry my body up
and to become just human rests
Iʼm rolling uncontrolled, spiraling out
I lost all my temper today so I
keep smashing your bones
until they turn to dust
I write your name with it
and I snort it all out
Donʼt wake up

Iʼm rolling uncontrolled, spiraling out

Donʼt wake up

My body is shaking and I canʼt get out

Donʼt wake up

Epileptic attacks are my favorite dance
ʻTil I wake, ʻtil I wake, ʻtil I wake up!
Floating in this tub
full of chemicals
Ulcerating scabs all over me
I watch your reflection
with my vitreous eyes
Water blurs so much
the memories inside my brain
Who told me it was fine
to feel this void inside,
to strive to fill it up

with all the chemicals I find?
I sense a psychoneurotic need
To dry my body up
and to become just human rests
Iʼm rolling uncontrolled, spiraling out
I lost all my temper today so I
Keep smashing your bones
until they turn to dust
I write your name with it
and I snort it all out
Donʼt wake up

Iʼm rolling uncontrolled, spiraling out

Donʼt wake up

My body is shaking and I canʼt get out

Donʼt wake up

Psychotic Banana is my only friend
ʻtil I wake, ʻtil I wake, ʻtil I wake up!

Donʼt wake up

Iʼm rolling uncontrolled, spiraling out

Donʼt wake up

My body is shaking and I canʼt get out

Donʼt wake up

Psychotic Banana is my only friend
ʻtil I wake, ʻtil I wake, ʻtil I wake up!
