Yeat has undeniably taken over hip-hop by storm in recent years, seemingly, without much industry push. However, his discography may have left a paper trail of record label involvement years before his come up. This is the real story of Yeat.

In this clip, Baby Blue spoke about the murder of PnB Rock at a South Central LA Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles and how his robbery situation was similar in nature. He talked about rappers being targets but said that people are better off asking rappers for jobs instead of robbing them.

Top Republicans are attacking what they call “woke” politics, and even passing laws designed to “stop” a supposed woke agenda. The singer who first brought that concept to the culture, in “Master Teacher,” Erykah Badu, reflects on social justice, culture and “woke politics” today – one of several topics the four-time Grammy winner tackles in this extended discussion with MSNBC anchor and music obsessive Ari Melber. Badu discusses her singing, deep links to hip hop, personal evolution, spirituality and approach to the music industry and business in general, including her new cannabis line with “Cookies.” She also reacts to earlier moments and videos from her career, and engages with an “assessment” of her work that an artificial intelligence chat bot generated by drawing on public writings about her music and its message. This in-depth discussion is the newest installment of “Mavericks with Ari Melber,” a series of interviews with artists, musicians and cultural icons (msnbc.com/mavericks)

The Story Of Big Pun

Big Pun wasn’t in the game for long, but he did more with his career than most artists do over decades. He broke records, won awards, and inspired an entire wave of new rappers to hop in the booth - but he was tragically killed by a heart attack at just 28 years old. Behind the legendary music was a wild come up in the Bronx, and today we’re breaking down the crazy story of how Big Pun went from a homeless drug dealer to getting nominated for Grammy Awards. Let’s get right into it.

Far beneath the majesty and splendour of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protégée Christine Daaé is so strong that even her heart cannot resist.

The musical opened at Her Majesty’s Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, and there have been dozens of productions worldwide since then. Now in its 35th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, after more than 11,000 performances.

About:
Based on T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the show is set amongst a larger- than-life junkyard playground and is alive with our favourite feline characters including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Grizabella and Skimbleshanks.

The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year – the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

Originally aired on the Rosie O'Donnell show in 1998 just before the Tony Awards, a clip combining the two scenes "They Live in You" and the ending of "He Lives in You" reprise.

Features Samuel E. Wright, Tsidii Le Loka, Scott Irby-Ranniar, and Jason Raize (R.I.P.)

Yea imma need my respect

I need all blue to the face
I do a walk in 100 a k
I don’t even come out to play

I remember them days when I took the train
working them jobs all in the rain
ain’t have a dollar that’s was in my name
still in the studio cooking this pain
now I be up and doing my thang
driving in ghost but I needed a range
swerve in a lotus you out of my lane
if it ain’t about money then what is you saying
and I’ll do what it takes
ain’t got no time for no frauds so leave me alone
you switching right out of your place ,

Lyrics:
You said there’s something ‘bout my eyes
And we stayed out on the beach all night (all night)
The drawing in the sand
Then you took me in your hands and held tight (held tight)

Falling way too fast and hoping it will last
Tell me can we still go back
To where the sun don’t set with my head on your chest
Tell me can we still go back

Cos I wanna be there
I wanna be there with you
I really don’t care
I don’t care what we do
Let’s get lost in the crowd
With your hands on my body somewhere
I wanna be there with you

I wanna be there
I wanna be there with you
I wanna be
I wanna be there with you
Let’s get lost in the crowd
With your hands on my body
Somewhere, I wanna be there with you

Cos I wanna be there
I wanna be
Cos I wanna be there
I wanna be there with you
I really don’t care
I don’t care what we do
Let’s get lost in the crowd
With your hands on my body somewhere
I wanna be there with you
I wanna be there

You said there’s something in the air as you pulled me close and held me there (held me there)
And it felt like gravity, way that you were crashing in to me (in to me)

Like falling way too fast and hoping it will last
Tell me can we still go back
To where the sun don’t set with my head on your chest
Tell me can we still go back

Cos I wanna be there
I wanna be there with you
I really don’t care
I don’t care what we do
Let’s get lost in the crowd
With your hands on my body somewhere
I wanna be there with you

I wanna be there
I wanna be there with you
I wanna be
I wanna be there with you
Let’s get lost in the crowd
With your hands on my body somewhere
I wanna be there with you
I wanna be there
I wanna be

Cos I wanna be there
I wanna be there with you
I really don’t care
I don’t care what we do
Let’s get lost in the crowd
With your hands on my body somewhere
I wanna be there with you
I wanna be there

Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

"Boogie Oogie Oogie" is a song by the American band A Taste of Honey from their 1978 self-titled debut album. Released as their debut single in the summer of 1978, the song became an extremely popular "crossover" disco song. It topped the American pop, soul and disco charts, and it became the first certified platinum single in the history of Capitol Records for selling over two million copies. It also became one of the most recognizable songs from the disco era. The lyrics beseech listeners to "boogie oogie oogie, till you just can't boogie no more".
The group was awarded two platinum records for the single and the album, and they won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist at the 20th Grammys on February 15, 1979.

1966.....#1 U.S. Billboard Hot 100, #1 U.S. Cash Box Top 100, #4 UK Singles Chart, #1 Canada
Original video edited and AI remastered with HQ stereo sound.
"When a Man Loves a Woman" is a song written by Calvin Lewis and Andrew Wright and first recorded by Percy Sledge in 1966 at Norala Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama.
Released by Atlantic Records in April 1966, Sledge's recording reached number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B singles charts, becoming the first number 1 hit recorded in Muscle Shoals. It is also one of seven number 1 hits to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 100. The single was also a top ten hit in the UK reaching number four on its initial release and ultimately peaking at number two in 1987 on the UK Singles Chart after it was featured in a Levi's Jeans commercial. The Percy Sledge version is listed 53rd in Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Also in 1987, it was reissued in the US to promote the soundtrack album for Oliver Stone's film Platoon.

1967......#1 U.S. Billboard Hot 100, #1 U.S. Cash Box Top 100, #1 Canada, #18 Australia, #12 New Zealand
Stereo Remix by Tiger Rogers / Original video edited and AI remastered with HQ Stereo Sound.
"To Sir with Love" is the theme from James Clavell's 1967 film To Sir, with Love. The song was performed by British singer and actress Lulu (who also starred in the film), and written by Don Black and Mark London (husband of Lulu's longtime manager Marion Massey). Mickie Most produced the record, with Mike Leander arranging and conducting. The song peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, and became the best-selling single of 1967 in the United States.
"To Sir With Love" was initially recorded by Lulu (with The Mindbenders, who also acted in the film). It was released as a single in the United States in 1967 and in October reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for five weeks. The single ranked No. 1 in Billboard's year-end chart, though the Monkees' "I'm a Believer", which debuted in December 1966 and spent most of its chart life in 1967, was the overall bigger hit. ("I'm a Believer" was ranked No. 5 on the same year-end chart of the same year.) It became a gold record.
Canada's RPM magazine put the song at No. 2 for the year 1967. "To Sir with Love" did not chart in the UK, as it appeared only as a B-side to "Let's Pretend" (released in the UK on 23 June 1967), which reached No. 11 on the UK Singles Chart.
