Dubbed Billboard’s “number one Hot 100 artist of the 2000s” and “number two most successful artist of the 2000s,” and “one of the best-selling artists in American music history,” according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Usher catapulted four consecutive albums to number one on the Billboard Top 200, beginning with the diamond-certified Confessions in 2004. The album features four consecutive Billboard Hot 100 number one singles—"Yeah!” (featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris), “Burn,” “Confessions Part II,” and “My Boo” (with Alicia Keys)—and the top 10 single “Caught Up.”

“Chop Time, No Friend” is a playful return to the Banku Music sound Mr Eazi pioneered and popularized with his early singles and mixtapes. “Chop Time, No Friend is a very common Ghanaian saying, something you will see written on the front or side of buses like God is Great,” Mr Eazi says. “It means when you are eating, you don’t think about anybody. You are just focused on your enjoyment.”
For Eazi, it’s a way to express how he doesn’t let haters distract him from enjoying the fruits of his success. “It is touching on how people chitchat on me, but I am still focused on my enjoyment,” Eazi says. “It is a declaration, a celebration of self. I am saying everything I touch turns to gold. You can’t trouble me.”

While Beyoncé's having a summer world tour, she's giving Natalia Bryant a summer job! The 41-year-old singer released the full list of people credited for working on her ongoing Renaissance world tour and the late Kobe Bryant's oldest daughter is listed as an intern. The 20-year-old USC student is interning for Parkwood Entertainment, which is Beyoncé's record label and management company that she founded in 2010. This isn't the first time Queen Bey and Natalia have worked together. The model appeared in the "Break My Soul" songstresses' November 2021 Adidas Ivy Park campaign video and praised her "Auntie BB" in an Instagram post at the time. "I'm so excited to be a part of the new Ivy Park campaign!!!! Love you so much Auntie BB," Natalia captioned the post.

The Skatalites están considerados los creadores del ska y, por tanto, influenciadores del rocksteady, del reggae (ya sea early(Skinhead), roots(Rastafarismo)...), del dub, del dancehall, y del de sus descendientes musicales que derivan de los sonidos tradicionales de Jamaica. Sus primeras grabaciones de ska datan de junio de 1964, aunque estos músicos habían trabajado bastante tiempo antes como banda de estudio para el sello Studio One, grabando principalmente rhythm and blues. Los miembros originales de la banda obtuvieron su formación musical a partir de los músicos de jazz de la isla Jamaiquina.
