Ray J and Whitney were pictured together as early as 2010. She was 48 and he was 31 when they were linked romantically. It is believed they were together right up to her untimely passing in 2012.

For a years Ray J didn't say much or confirm the relationship. Watch for more on Ray J and Whitney and why Bobby Brown and his family were suspicious of him.

American Town Lyrics:

We’re a long way from home
Haven’t seen you in so long
But it all came back in one moment
And the year started cold
But I didn’t notice at all
When we found there’s a room we’re both in

We get Chinese food in small white boxes
Live the life we saw in Friends
Your room it barely fits the mattress
Wake up leave for work again
The wind it seems to blow right through us
Down jackets are the trend
The rush of rushing deep into love

English girl in an American town
No elevator to the 5th floor I’ll
Ring on the buzzer, then you’ll be right down
I wish time would freeze
Dungarees over the hoodie we’re out
Feet are 3 feet off the ground
Lost in love and we don’t wanna be found
It’s just you and me
My English girl in an American town

The days come and go
But it ends when doors close
And a scent of your perfume’s on me
You’re useless with your phone
Electric when one on one
I thought I would be more nervous darling

We watch comedies and miss the endings
Conversations til the dawn
Any change in tide we push against it
Challenge meanings in the song
Then head out without a reservation
Drinking out of paper bags
Wasting time is time not wasted, with my

English girl in an American town
No elevator to the 5th floor I’ll
Ring on the buzzer, then you’ll be right down
I wish time would freeze
Dungarees over the hoodie we’re out
Feet are 3 feet off the ground
Lost in love and we don’t wanna be found
It’s just you and me
My English girl in an American town

And when our eyes are closed together, I can’t explain
How the scent of your perfume takes me to a higher place
We can watch it unfold, or we can change how it tastes
And rebuild when it breaks down

We drink Moscow mules and steal the cups from
Mostly the Bowery bar
What a perfect day to fall in love on
What a way to make it start
It appears when you think all is lost then
You don’t remember when
It started never have to pretend, with my

English girl in an American town
No elevator to the 5th floor I’ll
Ring on the buzzer, then you’ll be right down
I wish time would freeze
Dungarees over the hoodie we’re out
Feet are 3 feet off the ground
Lost in love and we don’t wanna be found
It’s just you and me
English girl in an American town

Lyrics:
you whisper my name
say it like you don’t like the taste
my love's been in vain
it's written all over your face...
there’s blood on the floor
i don’t know if it's mine or yours
who’s hurting more?
there’s nothing left to destroy...

without sayin' anything
i get under your skin
under your skin
without sayin' anything
i get under your skin
under you (uh)

our hands are as stained
as this love is
there’s nothing poetic about it
i drive you insane...i know...
accidents happen
our hands are as stained
as this love is
there’s nothing poetic about it
i drive you insane...i know...
accidents happen

you talk about love
like this is what that ever was
tell me i drive you insane
'least you got me on the brain
ain't it a shame?
you're still thinking you might stay
tell me i drive you insane
you 'n me we’ll never change

without sayin' anything
i get under your skin
under your skin
without sayin' anything
i get under your skin
under you (uh)

our hands are as stained
as this love is
there’s nothing poetic about it
i drive you insane...i know...
accidents happen
our hands are as stained
as this love is
there’s nothing poetic about it
i drive you insane...i know...
accidents happen

Stephen Thompson | September 29, 2023
What you've got here is a perfect 20-minute distillation of The Sam Smith Experience: The Grammy-winning 2014 ballad that kicked off the singer's career ("Stay With Me"), a sleek dance-pop banger ("How Do You Sleep") and a chart-topping dollop of debauched hedonism ("Unholy") bundled together with "Lay Me Down," in which Smith performed a gorgeous duet with LaDonna Harley-Peters. From the stately to the louche and bawdy — Smith even introduced "Unholy" with a perfect summation of their recent artistic direction: "Let's get saucy!" — it's all here.

Performing with an 11-person choir and two instrumentalists — sadly, Kim Petras wasn't there to emerge from between Smith's legs as if she were being birthed — Smith brought an overflowing bag of tricks to the proceedings. But what really shone through was a sense of movement: Each song swayed and played effervescently, centering Smith while also elevating every other magnificent voice in support. This set may not serve as anyone's introduction to the music of Sam Smith, but it's still a hell of a gateway — and a joy to behold.

The Notorious B.I.G. channel is the official YouTube home of The Notorious B.I.G. featuring his catalog of official music videos. The Notorious B.I.G. is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential rappers and has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. alone. Before his murder in 1997, Christopher Wallace recorded two classic albums as The Notorious B.I.G. His debut Ready to Die arrived in 1994 and helped revitalize the East Coast rap scene with massive hits like “Big Poppa” and “Juicy.” Life After Death was released in March 1997 just weeks after he was shot and killed in Los Angeles. The record topped the U.S. album charts and featured the hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” It remains one of the few hip-hop albums to ever achieve Diamond certification from the RIAA.

This is radio at its finest. Miss the days when an artist would go the a station & just go crazy while the mics are hot. Rick Ross & FunkFlex had fun tonight before premiering “Shaq & Kobe” with Meek Mill. If you don’t know about the alleged real estate fraud, do your Googles. “Charlemagne, come work with Flex!” 😂😂😂 #RickRoss #FunkFlex #Hot97

[Verse 1:]
Can admit
I lost my feel
been in many pretty bad relationships
I’m trying to heal
Its making me so
So frail
But oh I don't want to be in this world alone
Oh I really needs someone to call my own
Someone I call my only one
When it's said and done

[Hook:]
So handle me
With care
Don't want to be damaged
By you
Don't want to be alone, alone
In this world
Alone

[Verse 2:]

I push every girl
That I love away
If I’m looking in the mirror I feel
Toxic know its was around me
It's so draining
But oh I don't want to be in this world alone
I really need someone to call my own
Someone I call my only one
When it's said and done

[Hook:]
So handle me
With care
Don't want to be
Don't want to be damaged by you
Alone, alone
In this world
Alone
I don't want to be
Alone, alone
In this world
Alone
In this world
Alone
Don't want to be alone
In this world
Alone

Chorus:
"Play that funky music, white boy
Play that funky music right
Play that funky music, white boy
Lay down the boogie and play that funky music 'til you die", heh heh
'Til you die, yeah (What?)
Hear, hear, heh

Lyrics:

Yorker sidin' you know how the song goes
In the back, sippin' purple chongos
Don't look for trouble but it always seems to find us

Forty grippin' panties, sippin' and the seats are right behind us
Quick left, one blow, K.O.
Hit the road to the next episode
In the saga of a few fellas
Oh what the hell, I guess I better tell ya

It's Friday night, I got a brand new kick on
Up in the Henny, for me to get bent on
Hit the country club then picked up ML
Eighty west, back to the hotel

If you are wondering how you get paid for your music as a songwriter, musician or producer this video explains the process. When I was in Sweden, I interviewed Niclas Molinder who with Max Martin and Björn Ulvaeus are helping music creators with their innovative app called Session Studio.
