Mixmag and Coors present The Lab LDN with DJ Yoda.
DJ Yoda is playing on Pioneer DJ's brand new DDJ-REV7 - https://bit.ly/3x3jI50
The Lab is powered by Pioneer PRO AUDIO

The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Coors’ weekly live event, powered by Pioneer PRO AUDIO, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party.

Globally-revered turntablist DJ Yoda swaps out the vinyl for Pioneer DJ's brand new DDJ-REV7 controller this week in The Lab LDN. The British DJ, known for his unsullied blends between hip hop, house, 80s pop, AV shows and synth-driven tracks, floats effortlessly between genres with a knack for scratching - and a keen eye for selecting. Having previously taken home a DMC DJ award under the scratch category, the DJ now heads up the panel of judges on the world championship competition year after year seeing in the next generation of fresh talent.

This week, DJ Yoda takes a spin on brand new decks. The DDJ-REV7 controller by Pioneer DJ boasts two scratch-style jog wheels with on-jog display emulating a professional DJM-S mixer and PLX turntable setup. With a whole new and improved set of features perfect for open format and scratch DJs everywhere, DJ Yoda gives this brand new controller the first spin this week in the Lab.

I’m back with a new fun set for you! This one is filled with new and old bootlegs and mashups bangers that takes you through a journey with high and low energy.

As always I wanna remind that DJing isn’t always perfect, for me this is a a fast and technically challenging set so there’s mistakes in it, some smaller and some bigger.

I’m playing without external sound and without cue monitors, which means my headphones are plugged into the master speakers and not the mixer.

Hope you'll enjoy it!

Eli & Fur - Malibu Sunset Set [2021]
On a very hot Malibu evening, we dragged all our DJ equipment (plus an extremely heavy generator) right to the top of Corral Canyon — a beautiful spot we had stumbled on a few weeks earlier by accident, overlooking the ocean and Pacific Cost Highway. It took 2 hours there and three hours back.. in the dark, but it was SO worth it to play music in a beautiful place and share it with you all. We were visited by a lot of bugs, bugs on the decks, bugs in our drinks 😂 but then, the most incredible sunset. Thank you so much to Connor and Ryan for being amazing. Hope you all enjoy this ❤️🌅
