Bjørkø feat. Ismo Alanko : Värinvaihtaja (Official Music Video) Hotney 3 Bekeken • 2 jaar geleden

Bjørkø's Värinvaihtaja is taken from of Amorphis guitarist Tomi Koivusaari's soloalbum Heartrot, released on Svart Records 1st of December 2023.

Bjørkø feat. Ismo Alanko: Värinvaihtaja
(Lyrics: Ismo Alanko, Music: Tomi Koivusaari / Ismo Alanko)

Kun rämeinen yö kohtaa lopunajan
ja ratasten pyörimisajan mitan
taas rämissyt ympäri värikartan
nyt rukoilkaa
kai rukousten aika on pian ohi
ei humala vieläkään hylkää meitä
vaan läjäyttää uusimman vitsauksen
ja katoaa

Niin kaunista on palaa loppuun ilman tulta
niin kaunista on sulaa aamuruskon syliin
ja joka päivä kuolla salaa ruuhka-aikaan
saada palkinnoksi yö

Keltainen painonnostaja
vihreä kumivasara
kultainen kaljannoutaja
ja musta aukonsulkija
antakaa värinvaihtaja
antakaa meille armoa
antakaa valoon pimeyttä
viimeinen turha tehtävä

Kun parannun taudista katalasta
niin odotan pyövelin tajuavan
sen salaisen koodiston joka johti
alas pimeyteen
en odota kotiini sankareita
en komeita viiksiä, saparoita
en suruisen valtiaan vuodatusta
vaan hikoilen

On resuinen siunattu valtakunta
ja ruvella ääneni eetterissä
mä tilitän kaikkea rajatonta
kun vakoilen
kun luvattu lapsi on tanssimassa
sen jaloista sinkoilee kipinöitä
mun valoisan mieleni sopukoihin
mä hajoan

Niin kaunista on palaa loppuun ilman tulta

Keltainen painonnostaja
vihreä kumivasara
kultainen kaljannoutaja
ja musta aukonsulkija
antakaa värinvaihtaja
antakaa meille armoa
antakaa valoon pimeyttä
viimeinen turha tehtävä

A Soapbox Opera - Roger Hodgson (Supertramp) Writer and Composer Hotney 3 Bekeken • 2 jaar geleden

Roger Hodgson, co-founder of Supertramp, is the singer/songwriter of this most beautiful treasure, A Soapbox Opera, which is from the album, Crisis? What Crisis? Seeing Roger perform with an orchestra is mesmerizing. This performance is from a July 2013 concert in Germany with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra at Jazzopen Schlossplatz. Roger also gave us the eternal classics such as Dreamer, Give a Little Bit, Take the Long Way Home, The Logical Song, Fool's Overture, Hide in Your Shell, It's Raining Again and many more.

Although Roger and Supertramp's other co-founder shared writing credit, they actually wrote and composed separately with each singing their own songs. Roger is the Voice you have been listening to on almost all the classic hit songs that were recorded by Supertramp - the Voice people all over the world love.

LETRA

Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah (Ovy On The Drums)
Ah, ah, ah, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, yeah

Quisiera despertarte a veces a besos

Bebé, yo no te quiero mentir

Si te rayas, después me bloqueas

Bebé, yo no te quiero mentir

Lyrics / Letra:

Aló

Ya me dijeron
Que el cielo
Te lo prometieron
Pero fue mientras
Te metieron.

Y en la disco sola te vieron
Llorando por un
Pobre diablo
Que, no te dejaba salir
No te dejaba ni hablar
No volviste a beber
Ni volviste a fumar

ey

Vuelve a los códigooos, ye
y dile adiós al tóxico

Que mami antes de él
Tú estabas a fuego,go
Hazlo otra vez
Hazlo otra vez
Si extrañas chingar
Sin poner amor
pues, hazlo otra vez
ma-mi, Hazlo otra vez

No te amarres mai, ay, ay, ay, ay
Métele con bellaquería
Cómo antes lo hacía
No te amarres mas, ay, ay, ay, ay
e, que la disco está encendida

Ese te tiene
Apaga, ga, ga,ga
De ese tu estaba
Traga, ga, ga,ga
Pero conmigo
Tu mojabas las braga, ga,ga,ga
Me bajaba y sonaba
Ga,ga,ga,ga

No te amarres mai, ay, ay, ay, ay
Métele con bellaquería
Cómo antes lo hacía
No te amarres mai, ay, ay, ay, ay
e, que la disco está encendida

Ese te tiene
Apaga, ga, ga,ga
De ese tu estaba
Traga, ga, ga,ga
Pero conmigo
Tu mojabas las braga, ga,ga,gas
Me bajaba y sonaba ga ga ga

Estamos rompiendo o no estamos rompiendo muchachos

Lyrics:

Mera wou
Cuando tu quieras me llamas
Gua’ a llegarle sin el GP
Yo te rompo en toas’ las pose
y te muerdo y te dejo un hickey
Y no me voy a venir

Chingamos a toas’ horas

Yo contigo me amarro,
Picheale a tu novio
Si ese tipo es un charro

Ese culo me tiene envuelto
Pa’ metertelo no hace falta perco
Que rico se siente cuando estoy adentro
Aqui no hay love, cero sentimiento

Ese culo me tiene envuelto
Pa’ metertelo no hace falta perco
Ey ey, Un polvito sano nunca cae mal

WASP outraged parents, religious groups and received death and bomb threats in the process. At the same time, they delighted people who witnessed their stage spectacles. Led by imposing frontman Blackie Lawless who stands at 6feet 4” tall, the group’s 80’s era albums represented a commercial high water mark for the group. In today’s video, let’s talk about the unusual rise of WASP.
The beginning of the WASP’s history starts with Blackie Lawless who was born Steven Edward Duren in Florida. He was raised in Staten Island, and in his younger years he befriended future kiss guitarist ace frehley. Duren was brought up in a fundamentalist baptist household telling USA Today “My father was a Sunday school superintendent, my grandfather was the head deacon of the church, and my grandfather was a preacher. When the doors opened, I was there. I was "indoctrinated". You're told what to think. I was in the church freely until the age of 18, and when I left the church I REALLY left. I went and practiced the occult for three years. At the end of that time, I discovered that was just another organized religion. In the same interview with USA today he had jewish ancestry..
As for how he got the name Blackie Lawless ,he’d get the name, at least the first part at the age of 13. He’d tell Eddie I know everybody in that band trunk that his mother worked for the USo during world war 2 and she was a professional dancer. She once went to a service club and a guy one night went up to one of the sailors, took a switchblade and stabbed the guy. He remarked ""He took a switchblade and he stuck it in the guy in his stomach and walked around the guy with the blade in him, so he did a circle around his body. And I heard that story, and it left a lasting impression," he explains. "So with the color of the hair and all, it just stuck. It's been with me ever since." As for the name Lawless there was a player for the football team the Dallas Cowboys who was an all-pro center named Burton Lawless. He loved that the jersey of the guy said lawless on it.”
Lawless uncle was late Major League Baseball pitcher Ryne Duren who played for a variety of teams including the new york yankees. Lawless at one point even considered a career in baseball thanks to having a good throwing arm. In the book nothin but a good time photographer Don Adkins recalled how Lawless told him he had a 99mph fastball and got drafted to play for the farm team of the Detroit Tigers. But by the mid 70’s he got an offer to join the group the new york dolls and left baseball. However in an interview with Loudersound, Lawless would clarify it was actually a stint with the cincinnati reds farm team. In a separate interview with rough edge magazine lawless claimed he still suffers from a baseball injury, a torn tendon in his elbow.
It wasn’t just baseball that caught lawless attention as he told the Edmonton Journal that had he not been a musician he might have went into advertising as he was always fascinated by marketoing. Meanwhile he’d tell a dayton ohio paper that in his mind the three best jobs in the world were being presidents of the United States, being boxing heavyweight champion and being a rock n’ roll musician. He’d meet boxer Mohammed Ali, crediting the athlete with inspiring his onstage footwork.
Lawless had a short stint in the iconic glam band, New York Dolls joining the group briefly in 1975 after guitarist Johnny Thunders left the group mid-tour. The Dolls taught Lawless how not to be famous remarking to the journal “They were the only band I know of, that could sit at an airport terminal and miss 5 planes in a row. One member was drinking 13 quarts of liquor a day and well let’s just say dolls were five guys trying to be jim morrison and succeeding. A lot of his early media interviews placed a large emphasis of his time in the new york dolls, but for Lawless the best thing that came out of the stint, was that it got him from the East Coast to LA.
Lawless formed the group Sister In 1976, which also featured future W.A.S.P. guitarist Randy Piper. Now I wanna say that the biography that WASP’s future label C

Following two massive records, their commercial breakthrough Slippery When Wet (1986) and the highly anticipated follow-up New Jersey (1988), the band members were sick of each other and burnt out. Jon admitted to the New York Daily News that the band should’ve had a bigger break between Slippery When Wet and New Jersey. From 1983 to 1990, the band was largely living out of a suitcase, and some members went through divorces. They took some time off. During their time off, Jon recorded a solo record as did Ritchie Sambora.T here was always tension between Jon and Richie, not because they didn’t like each other, but due to competition between the two. Their manager at the time Doc McGhee remarked in Thank You and Good Night that it was a matter of proving how much each was worth.

Emilio Estevez had a new movie coming out Young Guns II in 1990 and approached Bon Jovi about using the song "Wanted Dead or Alive." The song had frequently been played on set in 1988 for the first movie. Instead, Jon suggested writing a song specifically for the movie called "Blaze of Glory." Jon also admitted in the Thank You and Good Night documentary that he wanted to prove to people that he didn’t need his bon jovi bandmates to have a successful hit. “Young Guns II” star Kiefer Sutherland said, “When Jon (Bon Jovi) joined the team for Young Guns 2, we were all eating hamburgers in a diner and Jon was scribbling on this napkin for, say, six minutes. He declared he’d written ‘Blaze of Glory’, which of course then went through the roof in the States. He later gave Emilio Estevez the napkin. We were munching burgers while he wrote a No. 1 song… Made us feel stupid.”Jon even made a cameo in the film.Bon Jovi’s solo album Blaze of Glory went to number 3 on the album charts with the title track hitting number 1 on the hot 100 chart. The question a lot of fans had was, what was the status of Bon Jovi? Even the members of the band weren’t sure of the status of the group. But
Bon Jovi reassembled in January of 1992.
It was a new beginning for the band as the group fired their accountants, managers, and agents. Their then manager Doc McGhee admitted in the band’s Thank You Goodnight documentary that around the time of "Blaze of Glory," he could sense a shift in Jon’s needs. One point of contention was Jon’s desire to get into acting and doing more movie soundtracks, something he disagreed with, telling him to stick with the band.. Instead of trying to work things out, McGhee let the band go, something he believes was a mistake.

Jon soon started Bon Jovi Management with the idea of protecting the band first. Their road manager, ran the whole thing. It also proved advantageous because the band didn’t have to pay out huge commissions to a manager, Jon told the LA Times: "The days of the big machine are over. The machine was getting too big and unnecessary. Things had to get more simple. It’s silly to act like this big superstar with tons of people working for you. I was simplifying my life in other ways, so I figured to do it on the business side too."

The band next needed to come back together and feel like one again - setting aside those old rivalries and hostilities. The band rented a house in the Virgin Islands—St. Thomas. No girlfriends or wives, it was just the band. Jon wanted to hire a psychotherapist who did corporate therapy—a guy named Lou. The idea was to have an intermediary with nothing to gain, unlike a manager, for everyone to talk openly in a safe place. It took some convincing, but eventually the rest of the band signed onto the idea. Making Keep the Faith was a more relaxed process with the band going back to their roots, spending time writing in Bon Jovi's basement. Later, they headed to Vancouver to work with Bob Rock, who had engineered and mixed their earlier albums Slippery When Wet and New Jersey. Rock remarked to an interviewer: The band was ready to push themselves and wanted to prove they were more than a pop-metal act. This time around focusing on creating a big, modern rock sound." It resulted in their first album in 4 years - keep the faith.

LYRICS

Lift your head weary sinner, the river's just ahead
Down the path of forgiveness, salvation's waiting there
You built a mighty fortress 10, 000 burdens high
Love is here to lift you up, here to lift you high

If you're lost and wandering
Come stumbling in like a prodigal child
See the walls start crumbling
Let the gates of glory open wide

All who've strayed and walked away, unspeakable things you've done
Fix your eyes on the mountain, let the past be dead and gone
Come all saints and sinners, you can't outrun God
Whatever you've done can't overcome the power of the blood

If you're lost and wandering
Come stumbling in like a prodigal child
See the walls start crumbling
Let the gates of glory open wide

If you're lost and wrecked again
Come stumbling in like a prodigal child
See the walls start crumbling
Let the gates of glory open wide

(Ooh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
(Ooh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
(Let the chains fall)
(Ooh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
(Let the chains fall)
(Let the chains fall)
(Let the chains, the chains, the chains,
The chains, let the chains fall)

If you're lost and wandering
Come stumbling in like a prodigal child
See the walls start crumbling
Let the gates of glory open wide

If you're lost and wrecked again
Come stumbling in like a prodigal child
See the walls start crumbling
Let the gates of glory open wide
Let the gates of glory open wide
Let the gates of glory open wide

A Texas-based singer/songwriter known for his wide-ranging fusion of pop, rock, folk, electronic, bluegrass, and hip-hop, David Crowder rose to success in the early 2000s as the leader of the church music group The David Crowder*Band. Over the next decade, the band racked up numerous Dove Awards for their inspirational rock sound, releasing popular albums like Illuminate (2003), Remedy (2007), and Give Us Rest (2012). Rebranding in 2012, simply as Crowder, the singer launched an equally successful, though more stylistically varied, solo career with albums like 2014’s Neon Steeple, 2016’s American Prodigal, and 2018’s I Know A Ghost.

Letra:
y tú tanto no

Contigo yo voy a to’, oh rayos contigo yo voy a to’

Si a ti te interesa, vente si te interesa
(Si te interesa, vente si te interesa)
Si a ti te interesa, ven si te interesa
(Si a ti te interesa, solo si a ti te interesa)

(Si te interesa, vente si a ti te interesa)
Si a ti te interesa, vente si te interesa
(Si a ti te interesa, solo si a ti te interesa)

Mi amor si me interesa, claro que si me interesa,
Si a ti te interesa, solo si a ti te interesa
Si te interesa, claro que si me interesa
Si a ti te interesa, Si a ti ti...

Estoy dispuesto a pasar contigo mi eternidad

Te convenceré, aunque yo no sepa si mi propuesta interesa
Conmigo te llevaré, te llevaré, aunque yo no sepa.

Si a ti te interesa, vente si te interesa
(Si a ti te interesa, solo si a ti te interesa)

You are my gyal, my gyal
Mami wine up.
You are my gyal, my gyal
Mami wine up.
You are my gyal, my gyal
Mami wine up.
You are my gyal, my gyal
Mami wine, wine, wine.
You are my gyal, my gyal
Mami wine up.
You are my gyal, my gyal
Mami wine up.
You are my gyal, my gyal
Mami wine up.
You are my gyal, my gyal
Mami wine, wine, wine.

¡Yeh, yeh, yeh!
Mi amor si me interesa, claro que si me interesa,
Si a ti te interesa, solo si a ti te interesa
Si me interesa, claro que si me interesa,
Si a ti te interesa, solo si a ti te interesa.
