French Montana - Too Late ft. Jim Jones [Official Video] Hotney 1 意见 • 3 年前

French Montana - Too Late ft. Jim Jones [Official Video]

"Too Late" performed by French Montana ft. Jim Jones
"Too Late" available at: https://music.empi.re/cb5_frenchmontana

Lyrics:
Dipset, coke boys
Something epic you know
French what up, bx what up
Harlem what’s bangin

Lost in the fog, it’s hollow here
Blood runnin hot, light years
Following lost, im missing me
Is it too late to come on home?
Is it too late to come on home?
It’s safer here, I heard it’s a sad song

Through the fire right through the fog
Big bag like Santa Claus,
New sauce for the summer sauce
Marching band, we the drummer boys
And tell the crib I’m on the way back,
walking off to my goals, took the plane back
And they prayed he ain’t came back
All rocky like A$AP

I’m decisive, persuasive, facelift
Top down, ageless, timeless,
stone age, runnin outta patience
Servin up the patients, no navigation
Grind like bad breaks,
Eat a lobster with the crab that’s left the bad taste
Same n***a’s on the roster up from the bad days,
N***a’s on the rat race
Same n***a’s laughin at us started laughin with us
Cause all the slammed doors turned to lamb porsches

Is it too late to come on home?
Is it too late to come on home?
It’s safer here, I heard it’s a sad song
Is it too late to come on home?

It’s never to late too come home for a gangster, Capo!

If nobody died then it’s not a beef,
Contrary to the lies, we all got beliefs
Still keep it in my ride and in my boxer briefs
Hood n***a got them yachts stackin by the beach,
They still treat me like a God when I’m in the H
Cut noise the ether, then eat the charge like a dinner plate
We was just duckin them charges on the interstate,
Watch 50 that’s an extra 20 large in the face
We both getting money, that is not the issue
Tryna find my wooster, like some chakra crystals
Still hit a n***a wit a tek but I ain’t got a whistle,
Slide to the way, make sure your moms got a box of tissues
We gon hit whoever rockin witchu,
Catch your ass in Houston, shoot you, make sure you got rockets witchu
We come home we get a welcoming committee
When you fucking n***a’s go home you ain’t welcome in your city, but

Is it too late to come on home?
(too late for what?)
Is it too late to come on home?
(n***a show up late I’m right on time)
Is it too late to come on home?
(better late than never)
It’s safer here, I heard it’s a sad song
Is it too late to come on home?

They told me if you get money then it shouldn’t be able to fit in your pocket n***a
My money can’t fit in a bag, so what time of bag you n***a’s is gettin?

We drinkin ace and ciroc all night you heard?
I been a bad boy, tell Diddy I been sellin that Danity Kane to get that dirty money
You heard me money?
French what’s up? BX, Harlem

What Happened To British Pop Group Take That? Hotney 1 意见 • 3 年前

The year was 1989. A British musical band manager by the name of Nigel Martin-Smith embarked on a journey to create a male vocal singing group he intended to model after popular U.S. boy band New Kids on the Block. He was soon introduced to young singer-songwriter Gary Barlow, who’d been performing in clubs since the age of 15. Impressed with Gary’s writing abilities, Nigel decided to make him the focal point of the group. The following year, a campaign was launched in Manchester, as well as other surrounding cities, to find young men who could sing and dance.18-year-old football hopeful, or soccer depending on which part of the world you’re from, Mark Owen would be next to enter the picture and together with Gary started calling themselves The Cutest Rush. Eventually, the addition of 22-year-old DJ Howard Donald, 19-year-old painter and dancer Jason Orange and a 16-year-old Robbie Williams would complete the five-some, which initially went by the name Kick It.

What Happened To Buju Banton? | Controversial Songs, His Rastafari Faith & a 10 Year Prison Sent Hotney 1 意见 • 3 年前

In the ‘90s, Buju Banton emerged as one of the most popular reggae dancehall artists. Some of his songs though, drew substantial criticism for their offensive lyrics. Over the years, Buju remained a high-profile star and branched out using a variety of elements including R&B, hip-hop, and folk. Then, a conviction on drug trafficking charges in the U.S. curtailed his career for the better part of a decade and had people wondering if he would ever get the chance to dominate the music charts again.

What Happened To '90s Hip Hop Duo Black Sheep? | Did They Fall Out With Each Other? Hotney 1 意见 • 3 年前

When William "Mista Lawnge" McLean met Mike Gee of the Jungle Brothers and DJ Red Alert, they encouraged him to start his own hip hop group after they witnessed his DJ set at a show in the early ‘80s. Barely in his teens and on the shorter end of the spectrum, Lawnge, known then as Shorty Doo-Wop, needed to stand on milk crates to even reach the turntables. His skills, though, were undeniable and he blew everyone within earshot away. Later, Lawnge, the producer, would go on to recruit Andres "Dres" Titus, the rapper and lyricist, to form the hip hop group Black Sheep in 1989.

How Apollonia Became Prince's New Protégé & Her Deep Depression Over His Death Hotney 1 意见 • 3 年前

Singer, actress, model and talent manager Patricia Apollonia Kotero was born and raised in Santa Monica, California but, her parents moved around quite a lot so, she did spend some time in San Fernando and San Pedro. The eldest of four children of Mexican immigrants, she also speaks fluent Spanish and Italian. Her middle name that she would adopt as her stage name came from the Olympian deity in classic Greek and Roman mythology named Apollo, recognized as a god of music and dance, the Sun and light, poetry, and more. At the age of 16, Apollonia would drop out of high school to pursue a career as a model while also working a regular 9 to 5. Her parents were going through a divorce at the time so, her paycheques were a great help to her mother. She would admit, many years later though, that dropping out was the biggest mistake she could have ever done.

MC Lyte | Hip Hop Icon, Beef With Another Female Rapper & Those Rumors About Her Sexuality Hotney 1 意见 • 3 年前

She was the first female solo rapper to release a full studio album, score a gold single and be nominated for a Grammy. Iconic hip hop pioneer MC Lyte took the rap world by storm upon her debut in the late ‘80s and immediately commanded respect from the male dominated industry. She also dealt with her fair share of professional and personal issues from a major beef with another female rapper to battling for the rights to her name and people constantly questioning her sexuality.
