Lyrics:
I feel alive again
Started with the fear of falling
Into an hourglass
Voices in the void are calling:
Wrap me in your arms.
Waterfalls; endless as they drag me
Down into the dark of it all
Can your heaven help me?

Is this the end or is this the beginning?

There are stranger things I’ve learned on the outside
Separated by an open door
I find it hard to reach the end of my timeline
Salivating ‘cause I wanted more

Is this the end or is this the beginning?

Am I allowed again
To call out what I need to hear?
To be a conduit
Conditioned by the fear of fear

Wrap me in your arms
Waterfalls; endless as they drag me
Down into the dark of it all
Can your heaven help me?

Is this what you want me to be:
Perfect and clean?
Float on a temporary
Empire built in a day
To throw it away?
Now I can tell you

There are stranger things I’ve learned on the outside
Separated by an open door
I find it hard to reach the end of my timeline
Salivating ‘cause I wanted more

Is this the end or is this the beginning?

I know where I want to go
But it’s too close
And it's too late
this time

I know where I want to go
But it’s too close
And it's too late
this time

There are stranger things I’ve learned on the outside
Separated by an open door
I find it hard to reach the end of my timeline
Salivating ‘cause I wanted more

Is this the end or is this the beginning?
Is this the end or is this the beginning?

Electric Light Orchestra - Evil Woman • TopPop Hotney 1 المشاهدات • منذ 3 سنوات

The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1970 by songwriters-multi-instrumentalists Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood with drummer Bev Bevan. Their music is characterised by a fusion of Beatlesque pop, classical arrangements and futuristic iconography.[3] After Wood's departure in 1972, Lynne became the band's sole leader, arranging and producing every album while writing nearly all of their original material. For their initial tenure, Lynne, Bevan and keyboardist Richard Tandy were the group's only consistent members.

ELO was formed out of Lynne's and Wood's desire to create modern rock and pop songs with classical overtones. It derived as an offshoot of Wood's previous band, the Move, of which Lynne and Bevan were also members. During the 1970s and 1980s, ELO released a string of top 10 albums and singles, including two LPs that reached the top of British charts: the disco-inspired Discovery (1979) and the science-fiction-themed concept album Time (1981). In 1986 Lynne lost interest in the band and disbanded the group. Bevan responded by forming his own band, ELO Part II, which later became the Orchestra. After a brief reunion from 2000–01, ELO remained largely inactive until 2014, when Lynne re-formed the band again with Tandy as Jeff Lynne's ELO.

This Toppop recording by ELO featuring Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan was made in ELO's studio n Birmingham and first broadcast by Toppop on December 5, 1975

*50TH ANNIVERSARY OF PINK FLOYD‘S ‘THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON’ OUT NOW*
Announcing the release of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ as a deluxe box set to celebrate 50 years since the release of one of the best-selling albums of all time. Newly remastered, the box set released on 24th March 2023.

One of the most iconic and influential albums ever, Pink Floyd’s ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ continues to find new audiences globally. The album was partly developed during live performances, and the band premiered an early version of the suite at London’s Rainbow Theatre several months before recording began. ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ is the eighth studio album by Pink Floyd, originally released in the US on 1 March and then in the UK on 16th March 1973. The new material was recorded in 1972 and 1973 at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road studios) in London. The iconic sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis and drawn by George Hardie. ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ has sold over 50 million copies worldwide.

The new deluxe box set includes CD and gatefold vinyl of the new 2023 remastered studio album and Blu-Ray + DVD audio featuring the original 5.1 mix and remastered stereo versions. The set also includes additional new Blu-ray disc of Atmos mix plus CD and LP of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon - Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974’. For full details see listing below.

**'THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - LIVE AT WEMBLEY EMPIRE POOL, LONDON, 1974’**
Simultaneously, on 24th March, the CD and first ever vinyl issue of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon - Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974’ will be released independently. It was originally recorded in November 1974 as part of the band’s winter tour and this is the first time it will be available as a stand-alone album, with artwork featuring an original 1973 line-drawn cover by George Hardie.

**ANIMATED VIDEO COMPETITION**
The 50th Anniversary release will also be celebrated as Pink Floyd invite a new generation of animators to enter a competition to create music videos for any of the 10 songs on the iconic 1973 album. Pink Floyd has a rich history of collaborating with animators from the beginnings of the band (Ian Emes, Gerald Scarfe etc.), and in some cases the visuals that accompany the songs have become synonymous with the music itself. The 50th Anniversary will be no exception. The band would like to give all animators an opportunity to present a fresh take on these timeless aural works. Animators can enter up to 10 videos, one per song on the album. A winner will be selected from a panel of experts which will include Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, Aubrey 'Po' Powell (Pink Floyd's creative director) and the BFI (British Film Institute). The deadline for submissions is December 31st 2023. To enter and for more information go to https://www.pinkfloyd.com/competition/

**PINK FLOYD - THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON: 50TH ANNIVERSARY BOOK**
The book Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon: 50th Anniversary will also be published separately by Thames & Hudson on March 24, 2023 to coincide with the box set release. Curated by photographer Jill Furmanovsky and art directed by Hipgnosis co-founder Aubrey Powell, this LP-sized volume showcases rare and previously unseen photographs taken during The Dark Side Of The Moon tours of 1972-1975 and was created with the involvement of the band members.

**NEW PLANETARIUM ALBUM EXPERIENCE ANNOUNCED**
Fifty years on, in recognition of the iconic album and with the help of huge strides in technology, an official full dome experience with stunning visuals of the solar system and beyond and played out to 42 minutes of The Dark Side Of The Moon, will be released in Planetariums around the world in March. Contact your local Planetarium for any screening details.

Lyrics:

“Don Toliver hook”
You buy the drink at the bar
You wanna fuck in the car
I’ll show you just who you are
You took a bite of the bar
I guess it’s right if it’s wrong
Yea I see
Yea I see
* it’s a one time hit for a nigga for a nigga like me

“Nav verse”
They come in the ceiling when you fucking with a star
Girl just drop a pin I’m pulling up to where you are
Everything I get it come with options cause I’m famous
Had a special moment still can’t tell you what her name is
Plug to your socket let me be the o
ne in charge
I can be your mirror I can show you who you are
Can’t be seen in public with you I’m taking a risk
Every time you use your phone I think you being slick
Focus on the moment don’t know how long we’ll live
I know that shit she going she got tatts on her ribs
There’s not a lot of people that can do what I did
Damn near suicidal almost slit both my wrists
Soon as I pull up it’s just as fast as I’m gone
I been going off don’t know how long I’ll stay on
See it it your eyes you wanna fuck me cause
I’m lit
I’ll let you decide you gotta make it quick

“Don Toliver hook”
You buy the drink at the bar
You wanna fuck in the car
I’ll show you just who you are
You took a bite of the bar
I guess it’s right if it’s wrong
Yea I see
Yea I see
* it’s a one time hit for a nigga for a nigga like me
Yea I see
Yea I see
* it’s a one time hit for a nigga for a nigga like me

“Future verse”
Pretty bon Bon bon bon bon bon
Lucky charm yea yea yea yea
Pressure make diamonds you icy
Maneuver through the trenches so swiftly
Bought a bulletproof to chest solitary
Covered up in chinchillas and LV
All these diamonds on me cured bitch vaccine
One of one when I put it on you girl rare breed
Total loaded fully auto for the world of envy
I’m going full throttle hitting the gas no ignition
pollution in my cup so I’m on drugs when I hit it
Like a VIP now you getting head on a mission
Gone off the screw 16 ounces or more
Bitch a mermaid and she dripped out in water
I hit it then she prayed to a
nigga like a god
Cleaning like a maid every time she give me mop
I know my swagga got her always be up to par
Smash on this bitch making money on my day off
Bitch a mermaid and she dripped out in water
I hit it then she prayed to a nigga like a god

“Don Toliver hook”
You buy the drank at the bar
You wanna fuck in the car
I’ll show you just who you are
You took a bite of the bar
I guess it’s right if it’s wrong
Yea I see
Yea I see
* it’s a one time hit for a nigga for a nigga like me
