Artist Biography:

Beyond their breathtaking melodies and explosive live sets, you’ll find dance music's closest friendship. Dutch powerhouse duo Lucas & Steve have seen a momentous rise to stardom in recent years with consecutive summer hits, multiple platinum and golden records, an endless string of international performances and accolades from BUMA (The Netherlands), Fun Radio (France), DJ Mag, MTV and many more.

The pair are renowned for uplifting productions and emotive lyrics, etching their place in modern dance music with massive radio hits like "Summer On You", "Up Till Dawn", "Where Have You Gone", “Perfect” and of course “Letters”, the title track of their 2020 debut album: "Letters to Remember”. Their 16 song LP, which received the Netherlands’ prestigious Edison Pop Award, showcases their musical diversity and solidifies Lucas & Steve’s reputation as truly talented songwriters. With deeply embedded dance roots, the pair have collaborated with the likes of Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, W&W and Galantis, and remixed many household names such as David Guetta, Robin Schulz, Kygo, Lost Frequencies and Illenium among many others.

In effect, Lucas & Steve turn into dance music notoriety, reaching unimagined milestones in the early 20’s. Together with R&B icons Blackstreet they successfully revamp 90’s hit “No Diggity” into stardom again, followed by a huge teamup with Afrojack and Dubvision for one of 2021’s biggest anthems “Anywhere With You,” going Gold in their home country, currently counting over 47 million streams on Spotify alone. That same year, the guys also join forces with Norwegian tastemaker Tungevaag for the incredible festival hit “Paper Planes.”

Basically, Lucas & Steve continue to raise the bar with their songwriting and recording process, resulting in the duo recently surpassing 1 billion streams from all corners of the globe. And, as 2023 unfolds, the duo is set for more action, continuing their triumphal path with the release of “After Midnight,” a collab with Yves V, using a sample of dream house maestro Robert Miles.

In the meantime, Lucas & Steve’s infinite energy is best experienced in a crowd, which they’ve proven time after time with acclaimed live performances at Tomorrowland’s Mainstage, Creamfields, AMF, Parookaville, Sziget Festival, ElectroBeach, as well as continuous tours across Europe, Asia and South America.

2023 sees the guys take things even further, as they are gearing up for an incredible year. If ever, Lucas & Steve will be omnipresent this season, in the first part of the year already playing high profile festival shows at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Airbeat One and Kingsland, as well as auspicious club shows in Las Vegas, San Francisco, London, Barcelona, Ibiza and Prague.

Beware, as Lucas & Steve are about to make waves again, armed with a whole new bag of musical tricks, their relentless energy and indestructible good vibes. Join them, and you’ll get the ride of your life.

Lyrics:

Aye
Baby they can’t
Keep up
Whoever talked down on you gotta speak up
You in your bag once again
You can’t be touched
I got a bag I can spend it don’t mean much
Hmm
We can vacay when your week up
Or we can slide when you want fuck the streets up
I wanna see your feet up
I got a bag I can spend it don’t mean much
What’s your mood

Yeah Yeah
I know you want a risk taker don’t ya
Girl you want a rich nigga don’t ya
Baby what’s your mood
Yeah Yeah
I know you want a risk taker don’t ya
Girl you want a rich nigga don’t ya
Aye
Yeah

Checks have you ever rode on GV’s
yeah the jet
I can get you Birkins any size at Hermès
Diamond crosses on your chest now cause you’re blessed
Crying in the Double R when you feel stressed
Knew you was a shooting star when I felt your breast
I didn’t want to get involved cause I got the check
When you take your clothes off you look the best
I can make you doze off after sex
If you rockin then the cash I’ll blow
I can make some money cause its all I know
Put you in the Goyard
YSL coat
Promise Imma go hard and help us grow

They say love don’t cost a thing
I know that’s nice
And we ain’t gotta name no price
But you can have whatever you like
Oh

Aye
Baby they can’t
Keep up
Whoever talked down on you gotta speak up
You in your bag once again
You can’t be touched
I got a bag I can spend it don’t mean much
Hmm
We can vacay when your week up
Or we can slide when you want fuck the streets up
I wanna see your feet up
I got a bag I can spend it don’t mean much
What’s your mood (Sheee)

Yeah Yeah
I know you want a risk taker don’t ya
Girl you want a rich nigga don’t ya
Yeah
Baby what’s your mood
Yeah Yeah
I know you want a risk taker don’t ya
Girl you want a rich nigga don’t ya
Aye
Yeah

And if we locked in for life
Yeah yeah
You ain’t gotta name no price
Cause you can have whatever you like
Yeah
They say love don’t cost a thing
I know that’s nice
And we ain’t gotta name no price
But you can have whatever you like
Oh

Baby what’s your mood (Sheee)
Cause I can make room
I can take you down to my tune
Tell me if its too soon
What’s your mood
Is it Cancun?
You know I take it there with ya
They can well wish ya
Baby I ain’t playin fair with ya, no

Baby they can’t
Keep up
Whoever talked down on you gotta speak up
You in your bag once again
You can’t be touched
I got a bag I can spend it don’t mean much

We can vacay when your week up
Or we can slide where you want fuck the streets up

Yee-he-ehh

En el yate to’ el día en bikini

Dime la verdad
Que yo ando buscando, mami
Mi otra mitad
Yee-he-ehh
