Michael Jackson & Quincy Jones: Their Untold Rise and Falling Out (Full Documentary) | the detai Hotney 12 Bekeken • 8 maanden geleden

Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones, the legendary creative partnership behind Thriller, Bad, and Off the Wall — three of the most successful albums in music history. Through rare interviews, archival footage, and Quincy Jones’ own words, we uncover how their collaboration shaped Michael Jackson’s sound, defined the Thriller era, and transformed him into the biggest pop star in the world — and why it ultimately came to an end.

Quincy Jones was more than just a producer. He was Michael Jackson’s mentor, creative partner, and architect of the sound that would dominate the 1980s. But behind the success, creative tensions grew as Michael sought greater control over his music, image, and artistic direction.

This documentary reveals why Michael Jackson walked away from Quincy Jones, the creative differences that emerged during the Bad era, and how their partnership evolved from collaboration into conflict. This is the untold story of one of the most important relationships in music history — and the moment that changed Michael Jackson’s career forever.
