In this video, Austin shows you how to produce a K-Pop song in the style of artists like NCT 127, BTS, EXO, Lisa, MONSTA X, and more! Austin focuses on creating an instrumental that elements from hip hop and electronic music to create a hard hitting track, and then fills it in with melodies that are common within the realm of K-Pop. Austin also focuses on creating different vignettes within the song to give each section it's own melodic and rhythmic structure, just like many K-Pop songs. We also have a couple exciting announcements, including the release of our brand new Vital preset pack, Synergy, and the launch of our annual Spring Sale on our website!

"Deep in the Willow" lyrics
Deep in the willow
Hidden from grace
Succumb to insecurity
Your final resting place
Crafting your perfect world Ignoring total truth
You'll die alone
There's only room for you
True colors shown
And I'm not impressed
A KING TO NONE Atop your throne you will die alone
A KING TO NONE Your greed lies deeper than blood
A KING TO NONE Atop your throne you will die alone
A KING TO NONE Your greed lies deeper than blood
Deep in the willow you sink alone
Don't lose your balance on the fence
You're only swimming up stream
Tail tucked for the world to see
Living your life playing on both teams It all comes back around
The tables turn
A rat to most
To me less
True colors shown
And I'm not impressed
A KING TO NONE Atop your throne you will die alone
A KING TO NONE Your greed lies deeper than blood
A KING TO NONE A rat to most to me less
A KING TO NONE And I'm not impressed
Deep in the willow
"Everything is Quiet Now" lyrics
If I were god I'd blind the youth
The gnawing weight of our final night
To all the pain that hides in truth
Unwilling I have been fed to life
Bellowing for just a crumb
Static in the constant hum
To drink from life's flowing stream
Poisoned
Upon loss
Upon loss were reminded of hell
Existence of pain and free will
Denial A cancer that eats at the shell
Lost forever
Upon loss Lives denial
Upon loss How can I move on now?
Are you washed in the blood?
It sinks in its teeth it comes
for us all Are you washed in the blood?
It comes for me in the dead of night
In the dead of night I was visited by death again
Upon loss
Everything is quiet now

30 years ago, bassist Wade Summerlin anchored this aggressive John Zorn-like jazz rock hybrid band SHOVIN' SHUNSHINE with his funky basslines. DEATH JAZZ was the name of the album, and the concept. The band broke up, but death jazz fans kept begging for a re-release. Now Wade's back to talk about the bands re-release of their 2002 classic from these ROCK JAZZ FUSION LEGENDS. WILL IT BE VINYL??? TUNE IN to find out!!!

Ghost Cave, our house band: www.ghostcaveatl.com
From the bands website: http://www.billyshawsongs.com/shovinsunshine/
This is the story of Shovin' Sunshine. Three musicians, Wade Summerlin, Jeremy Slotin, and Billy Shaw got together to experiment with new forms of jazz and the Avant Garde. Wade and Jeremy had been loosely playing together in thrash and death metal groups; Billy was coming back East after releasing his debut avant garde album called "Sassy". They got together in Jeremy's basement and started the experiment that became known as "Shovin' Sunshine", the very first and perhaps only Death Jazz group ever. They wanted to use the term acid jazz, but that same year a number of more currently influential players were using the label, and between their sound and the identification of this term to their music, Shovin' Sunshine wasn't convinced that it accurately described what Shovin' Sunshine was all about. So with little hesitation and even less dissent, the group chose to define and pursue the theory and tradition of Death Jazz.
The technical approach to the production of music was not particularly groundbreaking; the group was after clear, undistorted representation of fairly conventional instrumentation: Jeremy on drums, Wade on electric fretted four-string bass, and Billy on tenor sax. The approach to the creation of the music was what set this trio apart; Billy usually charted out melodies and arrangements in advance, he seldom ever shared the direction with the rest of the band. Fortunately, everyone seemed to think the same thoughts at pretty much the same time, and reasonably tight arrangements emerged from basically extemporaneous improvisations, all of which was taped. In fact, every time the band ever played the music was committed to tape.
Regrettably (and we really do mean this in the most profound sense of the word), the band didn't stay together longer than a summer. During that time though, a number of live gigs were performed, and many hours of tape were accumulated. The group dispersed to their respective interests, most notably Wade, who formed the seminal Cobweb Strange. Jeremy went to music school and Billy moved to Florida (where as it were, he ended up in music school as well) where he continued to pursue his form of avant (and later chucked it all to return to Bluegrass and what became Contemporary Mountain and Prairie and a series of acoustic pseudo-country music compositions that began to characterize his music publicly as anything but avant garde jazz).
So twelve years go by, and there wasn't much Shovin' of Sunshine. But Wade and Billy got in touch with each other recently and decided that at the least, Shovin' Sunshine still interested enough people to warrant a permanent place of its own in virtual space. Unknown to anyone else, Billy had continued to evaluate, arrange, and master the raw tapes, and continues to do so, including ongoing digitization and web-based access. What this means to the Shovin' Sunshine fan is that all of the originally released and newly available material is going to be re-released on high-quality CD and in digital format over the web. The quality of the original tapes has always been considered superb. Production and distribution in today's digital formats with modern capabilities is going to kick total ass; we're all pretty excited about this and we think that you will be too, once you hear some of what we have to offer.
So, here's the plan. We're going to be re-releasing Shovin' Sunshine's original studio recording Fire-A-Go-Go digitally remastered on CD, to be available through the Atlanta-based Genterine Records; some of our favorites from that album will be available both here at this web site and at the new Shovin' Sunshine web site being sponsored by Genterine Records. Next, we're going to release the first new Shovin' Sunshine recording in over a decade, recorded live at the Liquid Bean in 1993.

Jan. 21, 2020 | Bobby Carter -- "I was talking to J. Cole about me doing this,' Wale said as we rode the elevator up to the Tiny Desk. "He told me to just do my thing, but I wish I had more time to work this set out." Wale's friend and fellow MC was just one of several people who offered advice on how to approach his appearance for the Tiny Desk Fest. But I reminded him he's performed with a live band as much as any other rapper we've hosted, which seemed to put his mind at ease. Wale arrived eight hours before his scheduled set time and, after just minutes of rehearsal, quickly settled in and shook off any pre-show jitters.
More than 10 years ago, the man born Olubowale Victor Akintimehin generated a lot of buzz in the D.C. area with a host of mixtapes showcasing his MC skills over popular instrumentals. What separated him from the hundreds of other hopeful rappers trying to make names for themselves online was his ability to fuse go-go music — D.C.'s homegrown spin on funk — with hip-hop. (Well, that and a crazy mixtape tribute to Seinfeld.) In 2011, Wale joined forces with Rick Ross and his Maybach Music Group and had a real breakout with "Lotus Flower Bomb," the lead single from his sop****re album, Ambition. It went on to earn him a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Song in 2013.
A native of the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area (or DMV), Wale's calling card remains the rap ballad, a streak he continued on his 2019 album, Wow... That's Crazy, which debuted at No. 7 on Billboard's Top 200. It reveals a man more self-aware than ever, exposing flaws and struggles while keeping his self confidence fully intact.
Wale's Tiny Desk concert opens with his very first hit record and ends with his latest. Sandwiched between are highlights from his catalogue with a special nod to his hometown sound, courtesy of his touring band, Tre And The Ppl (formerly UCB). Tre is Wale's right hand on stage and their effortless chemistry has been intact since the beginning.
Throughout 2019, Wale was pretty vocal on social media about the Tiny Desk. In September, he tweeted, "Still never done tiny desk.. and it's like 20 min away...". About a month later, on the same night Ward 5 Council member Kenyan McDuffie told the D.C. City Council go-go should be the official music of the district — and the night the Washington Nationals won the World Series — Wale finally made it.

Lyrics:
Put on my blue suede shoes
And I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring rain
W.C. Handy
Won't you look down over me
Yeah I've got a first-class ticket
But I'm as blue as a boy can be
Then I'm walking in Memphis
I was walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
Saw the ghost of Elvis
On Union Avenue
Followed him up to the gates of Graceland
Then I watched him walk right through
Now security they did not see him
They just
Hovered around his tomb
But there's a pretty little thing
Waiting for The King
Down in the Jungle Room
When I was walking in Memphis
I was walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel
They've got catfish on the table
They've got gospel in the air
And Reverend Green
Would be glad to see you
When you haven't got a prayer
But boy you've got a prayer in Memphis
Now Muriel plays piano
Every Friday at the Hollywood
And they brought me down to see her
And they asked me if I would
Do a little number
And I sang with all my might
She said
"Tell me are you a Christian child?"
And I said
"Ma'am I am tonight"
Walking in Memphis
(Walking in Memphis)
I was walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
(Walking in Memphis)
But do I really feel the way I feel
Walking in Memphis
(Walking in Memphis)
I was walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
(Walking in Memphis)
But do I really feel the way I feel
Put on my blue suede shoes
And I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring rain
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring
Rain

The early '70s witnessed the explosion of funky music on the U.S. music scene.
Call it urban, call it funk, call it whatever you want, but it was unlike anything that the mainstream music scene in the U.S. had seen.
Traditional R&B and soul was one thing. What came out in the early '70s was something entirely different. It was urban, it was gritty and it had attitude.
Dennis Coffey's "Scorpio, coming out in '71, epitomized that. It was a superb instrumental that just blew the doors off, with a driving rift that grabbed you and didn't let go.
And, man, could you dance to it.
What I love about this MV is watching the Soul Train dancers dance to it. THIS was Soul Train! This was the '70s! This was everything special and awesome about that decade when it came to soul & funk!!

Wooyyy
Hii ni reggae ya kinyozi
Hapa hakuna kunyolewa na deni
Hapa kazi tu hakuna ujuaji
Mwenzako akinyolewa chako tia maji
Wowooiiii
Hii ni reggae ya kinyozi
Inapendwa na Wanati na wadosi
Haichagui sura haichagui ngozi
Na ikikupata ikupate na mapozzi
Verse 1
Look where we began
Kwa corner za hii mtaa
Mbogi yangu ya ghetto
Tulitoka maringo
Tuko on the other side
Look who you’ve become
Wasee wanoma sana
Wasanii wamesoma
Kuna mafootballer na mageneral
Pre-hook
I remember good times
Living on the east side
Why lie
It used be so nice
I hope we can get to do it one more time.
Verse 2
Eiiihhh
Hata ka sina maweng
Doba lazima tubeng
Usikubali kuparara
Looku ongeza sahara
Mbogi yote imejam
Juu gava yetu imelala
Deal zote ni haram
That's why we living on the run.

Lyrics:
I was walking home on a Sunday
I was walking home on a Sunday
I was walking home on a Sunday
I was walking home on a Sunday
And I’m
not looking back
But I’m not looking forward to anything in my life cause it never liked me
I can’t sleep cause I don’t know what’s inside me
The devils demons haunt and do divide me
And I think I’m over it
So I won’t stop walking
If told you the story bet you wouldn’t believe
Not sure I should feel a sigh of relief
He got them but he didn’t get me
But for some Odd reason I don’t feel free
So now what?
This pain is too much
The screams of the people make music in my head and listens to tough
so I must
Wipe my mind of everything I saw in that church
Suppress all these feelings even though that they hurt
I don’t understand how you could let this happen God I wanna know why you even let that man on earth
I believe that this life is by you and whatever you choose is the best
I believe in the choices you make even though they may hurt and effect
I’m just human I don’t understand you I know you are very complex
What should I go next my thoughts cannot connect my PTSD shakes me and leaves me depressed
In the back of my mind there's a place that I know full of sorrow
When I think of times my anxiety fills what is hollow
I don’t know when it’ll go away
But I hope it’ll go away
I just pray I feel better when I sleep and wake up tomorrow
Left foot right foot keep walking
Left foot right foot keep walking
Don’t look back your past is haunting
demons creeping always stalking
In that church I got down crawling
Couldn’t not stop my eyes from balling
Children screaming, bodies falling
Keep on shooting b****** hawking
Some one help us please just stop him
Why’s he laughing he’s been plotting
Says get up I hear d**** calling
I stood up and started walking
We locked eyes and he was smiling
Shot himself i saw him dying
Adrenaline was in my system I couldn't stop I had to go
But I just knew that if I made it I’d get out and praise to the lord
Now I’m walking on this Sunday and I just hope I make it home
I was walking home on a Sunday
I was walking home on a Sunday
I was walking home on a Sunday
I was walking home on a Sunday
