DIGITAL BULLETS // LYRICS
From your refuge you're a warrior in mind
Throwing stones behind the glass
You couldn't cut it so your only goal in life
Is tearing down and paying back
Never knowing what it's like
To chase a dream, to sacrifice
You can't stand to see them win
Fire away
Fire away
You don't have to show your face
Shoot em down
Shoot em down
You can't wait to take them out
Firing round after round after round
Firing round after round after round
You'll be safe and sound
Firing those digital bullets
Easy prey, you got a way to make them bleed
You know just how to hit a nerve
Hiding out under the spotlight that you feed
It's time you get what you deserve
Say anything to get a rise
It's as high as you can climb
Full of bark with zero bite
Fire away
Fire away
You don't have to show your face
Shoot em down
Shoot em down
You can't wait to take them out
Firing round after round after round
Firing round after round after round
You'll be safe and sound
Firing those digital bullets
Go on and throw your stones
Go on and throw your stones
Bring it!
Fire away
Fire away
You don't have to show your face
Shoot em down
Shoot em down
You can't wait to take them out
Firing round after round after round
Firing round after round after round
You'll be safe and sound
Firing those digital bullets

Something Beautiful - Album Out May 30 | Pre-Order Now: https://MileyCyrus.lnk.to/SomethingBeautiful
Text 310-388-5120
Miley Cyrus releases “Prelude” the first song and visual from her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful available May 30, 2025. “Prelude” features Miley wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, as seen on the album artwork, shot by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford. The film’s cinematography is helmed by Benoît Debie, adding to its striking visual narrative. “Prelude” is now available on all streaming platforms.
Lyrics:
Like when following an image from a train
Your eyes can’t keep the passing landscapes from being swallowed into endless distance
Like when holding a fist full of ashes your hands can’t save the things that have already been dissolved into air
Like when facing the sun thru a window your skin feels warmth but you can’t be in the world that its warmth has made alive
Like walking alone thru a lucid dream like saying your name aloud in an empty room
Like witnessing my body standing in a mirror aching to be seen, aching to become real
But the beauty one finds alone is a prayer that longs to be shared

“Goodbyes” Lyrics:
Me and Kurt feel the same
Too much pleasure is pain
My girl spites me in vain
All I do is complain
She needs something to change
Need to take off the edge
So fuck it all tonight
And don’t tell me to shut up
When you know you talk too much
But you don’t got shit to say
I want you out of my head
I want you out of my bedroom tonight
There’s no way I can save you
Because I need to be saved too
I’m no good at goodbyes
We’re both acting insane
But too stubborn to change
Now I’m drinking again
80 proof in my veins
And my fingertips stained
Looking over the edge
Don’t fuck with me tonight
Said you needed this heart then you got it
Turns out that it wasn’t what you wanted
And we wouldn’t let go and we lost it
Now I’m goner
I want you out of my head
I want you out of my bedroom tonight
There’s no way I can save you
Because I need to be saved too
I’m no good at goodbyes
I want you out of my life
I want you back here tonight
I’m tryna to cut you no knife
I wanna slice you and dice you
My heart gets possessive
It got you precise
Can you not turn off the TV
I’m watching a fight
I flood the garage
Blue diamond, no shark
Your Barbie life doll is Nicki Minaj
You don’t need a key to drive
Your car on the charger
I just want to see the side
The one that’s unbothered
And I don’t want you never go outside
I promise if they play my n***a sliding
I’m fuckin and the tour bus still ridin
I want you out of my head
I want you out of my bedroom tonight
There’s no way I can save you
Because I need to be saved too
I’m no good at goodbyes

Spanish heat and gypsy passion are brought to the stage in Francesca Zambello's vivid production of Bizet's opera.
The Habanera is the aria Carmen sings when she first appears on stage. It is also known as 'L'amour est un oiseau rebelle'.
Carmen was based on a popular novella of the same name by Prosper Mérimée, which enticed French readers with exotic tales of Spain. Its heady combination of passion, sensuality and violence initially proved too much for the stage and Georges Bizet's opera was a critical failure on its premiere in 1875. Bizet died shortly after, never learning of the spectacular success Carmen would achieve -- it has been staged over 500 times at Covent Garden alone.
Carmen contains many well-loved numbers, such as Carmen's seductive Habanera and Escamillo's rousing Toreador's song, in which he celebrates the thrill of the bullfight. Richly coloured designs capture the sultry heat of the Spanish sun, while ranks of soldiers, crowds of peasants, gypsies and bullfighters bring 19th-century Seville alive. This combination of memorable music, vivid setting and dramatic story have made Carmen one of the most popular operas in the world.
