MAGICIAN
(爱无限)

Music: Lexie Liu / Bekuh BOOM
Lyrics: Lexie Liu

I can lead the way, to a sacred place
Where the inspirations come to me
I don’t contemplate
All I wanna do is run, run it down down
Run it down, run it down down
Run it down, run it down down
Run it down

I’m a magician now
Wand in my hand
Set my intentions only
Then magic happens
I came with power to create the world

让爱无限打开你翅膀
(Open you wings to infinite love)
现在就闪烁在银河
(Now shine this galaxy)

EH ALA OM AH EH
Fill me up, holy breath
EH ALA OM AH EH
我回忆起我是谁
(I remembered who I am)

Woah
Imma work that magic
EH AH EH AH
我升起日月星辰
(I rise up the sun, moon and stars)

我的右手举向太阳
(Right hand towards the sun)
闪电游走在我身上
(Lightnings glide on my body)
你要真相还是幻象
(You want truth or mirage?)
还是我
(Or me?)
还是我
(Do you want me?)

转一转 爬上来
(Take a spin, climb it up)
天堂脚下的山脉
(Mountains beneath the heaven)
寻找
(Searching for)
权杖 圣杯 金币 宝剑
(The Wand, Cup, Pentacle and Sword)

发现万物生在
(I realize that everything was born)
空中温柔的尘埃
(From the tender dust in the air of nothingness)
化身
(Embodying as)
雄狮 飞鹰 神牛 天使
(The Lion, Eagle, Bull and Angel)

让爱无限打开你翅膀
(Open you wings to infinite love)
现在就闪烁在银河
(Now shine this galaxy)

EH ALA OM AH EH
Fill me up, holy breath
EH ALA OM AH EH
我回忆起我是谁
(I remembered who I am)

EH ALA OM AH EH
Run it down into the planet
EH AH EH AH
我升起日月星辰
(I rise up the sun, moon and stars)

I just stay aligned with the love divine
It’s my creation all the time
On the way up
Woah———
Imma work that magic
EH AH EH AH
我升起日月星辰
(I rise up the sun, moon and stars)

…

权杖 圣杯 金币 宝剑
(The Wand, Cup, Pentacle and Sword)
雄狮 飞鹰 神牛 天使
(The Lion, Eagle, Bull and Angel)
权杖 圣杯 金币 宝剑
(The Wand, Cup, Pentacle and Sword)
雄狮 飞鹰 神牛 天使

What if funk/fusion drummer Dennis Chambers was the drummer for Tool?

(Don’t tell Danny Carey.)

Dennis is known for his legendary backbeat and funky style. So of course we felt mischievous and we dared him to try playing “Schism”, one of Tool’s biggest songs. It’s full of odd time signatures, quick, complex changes and unexpected accents, and Dennis had never heard it before.

But we didn’t ask him to learn the real drum parts: we wanted to see what he’d come up with on his own after hearing the song once. While you’ll hear the song with drums in this video, Dennis was actually listening to a drumless track.

“This is not me,” he warned us as he listened through the track, but “in my younger days, this would’ve been up my alley!”

How will Dennis Chambers not only learn a song he’s never heard before, but in a style he’s unfamiliar with – and in odd time, at that?

Since the song doesn’t have a drum track, he listens for two things: the style and the time signature. Watch Dennis’ playthrough where he gives it his own spin. It’s solid, it’s groovy, and there’s some unexpected footwork later on. It’s amazing how much a song can change with a different approach on the drums.

You’ve never heard Schism played like this before!

If you like Dennis Chambers, he has an entire 12-lesson course on funk drumming for Drumeo members. Join today and learn from the best!

Today’s feature is a rap group that had legendary pedigree, timing, opportunity and most importantly talent to be one of the names back in the 90s when it came to young rap prodigies making a name for themselves in hip hop music, along with Kris Kross, Another Bad Creation and Illegal. All early 90s Teeny Bop rap groups that came out around that time and made pubescent rap one of the popular trends seeing as this was the first time hip hop had seen multiple kid groups blow in in their own rite. They released their debut single “Pass Da Mic” in 92, bringing a more street side to the kiddie bop pool, where groups like ABC and Kris Kross focused more on radio hits and catchy singles they could market to the world as the next trend. I’ve always felt kids groups and prodigies always have the chance to be hit or miss because so much factors go in to whether that group or artist makes it or not. Da Youngsters are the perfect example of how that path plays out, and how difficult it is to have success in that space and transition into something that works when the shock of kids being grown wears off. If nothing else they had as great a chance as any to blow up into the best kiddie rap prodigies of the 90s. Did Kris Kross Steal DA YOUNGSTA'S Motion? What Happened? Stunted Growth Music

LYRICS:
Are you even real
Or did I make you up
How could someone like you wanna give me love
Don't think I deserve you, but I can’t get enough
You’re so beautiful, spiritual, more like a miracle
Part of me’s scared that you might be invisible
Too good to be true
Tell me
Are you, are you, are you, are you
Made up in my head or are you in my bedroom
Questions that I ask ever since I met you
Tell me
Are you (are you), are you, are you, are you
Something from a dream or something that I made up
Questions that I ask every time I wake up
You never do too much
Somehow you’re still enough for me
I can feel the rush
Even when you slow dance for me
Lookin’ at you layin’ right there
Are you from this world I swear,
You’re beautiful, spiritual
I just want you to know
Is it all pretend or something I made real,
I don’t know what to think
And If it’s all a dream,
I don’t want to wake up
Are you, are you, are you, are you
Made up in my head or are you in my bedroom (in my bedroom)
Questions that I ask ever since I met you
Tell me
Are you (are you), are you (are you), are you (are you), are you
Something from a dream or something that I made up
Questions that I ask every time I wake up
Are you

Kameelah Williams, aka Meelah, is a singer and song writer who got her start as the lead singer of the famous Motown 90's trio: "702". 702 consisted of Williams and sisters LeMisha and Irish Grinstead, all of who were students at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts.

The restructured group was christened 702, which is Las Vegas' area code, and was now ready to record their first album. The group's first album was entitled: "No Doubt" and soared to #1 on the charts. Missy Elliott co-wrote & produced four songs on the album including the smash hit single "Steelo" and its remix. The album spawned three hit singles: "Steelo", "All I Want" and "Get It Together". In addition, "Steelo" with altered lyrics was used as the theme song for the Nickelodeon television show Cousin Skeeter & "All I Want" was featured in the Nickelodeon movie Good Burger. The sensual and very emotional single "Get It Together" gave the album its third hit and reached 10 on the Billboard charts.

Additionally, the album earned them a Soul Train Lady of Soul Award in 1997. It sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. 702 served as the opening act for New Edition, Keith Sweat, and Blackstreet during the 1996-97 New Edition reunion tour. They also appeared on Elliott's debut album Supa Dupa Fly on her 1998 song "Beep Me 911" which reached #14 on the UK Singles Chart. The girls also sang with Busta Rhymes new artist Rampage and made cameos in the sitcoms Sister, Sister and Moesha. After going gold with their debut album, the self-titled album "702" was released in 1999. The first single "Where My Girls At" peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained in the top 20 for more than 30 weeks, which earned 702 an American Music Award nomination. The album went on to sell over 1,000,000 copies worldwide certifying its platinum status.
