Behind the mix:
Sade was always my go-to when I was deeply in love with someone.
As I’m getting older and, hopefully, wiser, I avoid romanticising unreciprocated love.
True love is light and easy – and, most importantly, – they love you back, right?
Never the less, my love for Sade’s music is ingrained deeply in my heart.
The melancholy, the sound of her voice, the lyrics… I could write a book about it, but let’s just listen to the music. 🖤
I recorded and published the first version of this mix a year ago, but as I wasn’t happy with the transitions, so I decided to polish it off and re-record it with a video.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!
