On June 27th, I went to New York City right after the Pride Parade, and I asked random people to sing--all day for about 10 hours. I do this just to give people a chance to express themselves musically and hopefully feel happier and more free as a result. Just when I was about to leave for the night, after having dozens of people sing with me, I met the woman in this video. I don't know her name (I never asked her). But I'm glad her sister brought her to me to sing with me. See, this woman was able to sing a song that really connected with the people around us, and she gave us all a great experience listening to her sing "Dangerously In Love" (originally sung by Destiny's Child, of which Beyonce Knowles was the lead singer). I'm glad I met her and I'm glad that we were able to make an impact on other people together.

I met Greg while asking people to sing in the 14th street/8th avenue subway in NYC. At first I was taking a quick snack break while my team member changed the batteries. Then, I'm told that a gentleman in a blue shirt wants to sing. So I quickly finish my snack and pick up the guitar. I met Micah while visiting California. While at first he seemed quite nervous to sing, but he felt compelled to sing anyway because this is an important part of his mission. According to Micah, it's up to musicians to use their powers to get people to think deeper, understand each other, and treat each other better. In this video, he works through his nervousness to sing his song.

This video happened at a large yearly musician's trade show called NAMM. I later find out that Micah has been a contestant on America's Got Talent Season 9 (2014).

We had an absolute blast preparing for this very special flash mob in Leicester Square...because Romi had no idea her boyfriend, Bharat, was even in the country, so we knew it would be a major surprise!

But even in the age of MTV, The Eurythmics were striking. Annie Lennox's orange close-cropped hair and sleek tailored suit stood apart from other female pop stars of the time.
