Lyrics:

Ay
2am and I'm live
I just left out the club with the gang and a high yellow b*tch that's real thick in the thighs
You know me, I be shooting my shot when I got the lil' b*tch, wasn't even surprised
In the club looked her deep in the eyes and said,
"You comin' with me, if you're with it, let's ride"
Got a text, "When you coming inside?"
Off the liquor, didn't know what to say, so I lied
I text back, "Late at the stu', tryna cook somethin' new"
It's just me and the guys
She text "Hm", I ain't even reply
Then I rolled up a 'wood while I gripped on her thighs
Start to kiss on her neck, know this b*tch feelin' high
Ain't gon' lie, her p*ssy and head kinda fye
Ended at a hotel somewhere off 35
F*ck her good and rolled over, said wake me up in 5
Gotta p*ss, I wake up, man, it's 6:39
At the time, now I'm on the highway and I'm flyin'
Look at my phone, not a soul on my line
And I'm deep in my thoughts
I'm just knowin' she's cryin'
I'm trippin', I'm tryna
Straight out of the lies
I know if I slip, it's gon' damage our ties
I done did it before, I can't do all this cryin'

Ay
She gon' ask where I was
I'ma answer, what time?
Where was you around 3?
I think I was outside
But you told me the stu'
We got there at like 5
But it's 7
Sh*t, Deion had asked for a ride
Now I got it together
I pull up outside
It's 3 cars in this lot and one of 'em ain't mine
Now I'm clutching, I unlock the door, creep inside
I heard thumpin' upstairs, so I cocked the b*tch quiet
Hit the top of the stairs, think I heard my girl cryin'
Now I'm thinking, should I kick the door and kill everything in it, except for what's mine?
I don't know, but now I'm at the door
And she's screaming, go deeper
He tells her, be quiet
I walk in, tell the b*tch that she's wild

Tell the n*gga, he moves, and it's about to go down
Tell them both to shut up and don't even make a sound
She said, but
I said, shut the f*ck up and lay down
Next person moves, I'ma let off a round
Now I'm pacing, I'm trying to see how I'm getting down
If I kill 'em both, then that makes me a clown
Mama told me, don't trust 'em, but look at me now
One in the chamber, two faced on the ground
Got me like, should I leave and just burn this b*tch down?
I wake up, it's a dream
I'm outside of my house

The Music Industry has an infamous history as one of the shadiest. Within this new docuseries we will be take a look at it's dark side. Between the ties to organized crime to the rigging of the charts, the goal of this series is to be a walkthrough, and tour through the stories the industry would probably like to ignore.

There’s a definite Girl Power slant to this week’s video; nah Mel B’s not there, but a whole host of female bass players are, from the ‘60s super-session days of Carol Kaye, through to the mid ‘90s and the present day courtesy of Me’shell N’Degeocello, Rhonda Smith, Tal Wilkenfeld and Mohini Dey.

When we talk about great bass players, the spotlight is very often on men. Well, it’s about time that women got their due!

As always, see you in the shed…

Scott :)

Right now over 15,000 bass players are enrolled in the Academy here at Scott's Bass Lessons and are making a real difference to their playing... if you're really serious about getting your bass playing together, click here to find out more and grab your 14 day free trial: https://bit.ly/3brbwh5

LYRICS
i heard a knock upon my door the other day
i opened it to find death staring in my face
the feel of mortal stalking still reverberates
everywhere i go i drag the coffin just in case ;)

my bodies tremblin sends shivers down my spine
adrenaline kicks in shifts into overdrive
your secrets keep you sick your lies keep you alive
snake eyes every single time you roll with crooked dice
i felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down
the kind of dark that haunts a hundred year old house
i wrestle with my thoughts i shook the hand of doubt
running from my past im praying feet dont fail me now

ive lost my god damn mind
it happens all the time
i cant believe im actually
meant to be here
trying to consume,
the drug in me is you
and im so high on misery
cant you see

i got these questions always running through my head
so many things that i would like to understand
if we are born to die and we all die to live
then whats the point of living life if it just contradicts?
i felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down
the kind of dark that haunts a hundred year old house
i wrestle with my thoughts i shook the hand of doubt
running from my past im praying feet dont fail me now

ive lost my god damn mind
it happens all the time
i cant believe im actually
meant to be here
trying to consume,
the drug in me is you
and im so high on misery
cant you see

guitar solo

ive lost
myself
you tried to reach me but you just cant help me
so long
goodbye
you tried to save me it wont work this time

cause now

ive lost my fucking mind
and theres no fucking time
i cant believe im actually
meant to be here
trying to consume,
the drug in me is you
and im so high on misery
cant you see

I got my head out the sunroof
I’m blasting our favorite tunes
I only got one thing on my mind

You got me stuck on the thought of you
You’re making me feel brand new
You’re more than a sunshine in my eyes

You got those
Pretty eyes in your head, you know it
You got me dancing in my bed, so let me show it
You are exactly what I want,
Kinda cool and kinda not
Wanna give myself to you
Yeah, We’re driving down the freeway at night
I only got one thing in the back of My mind
I’m feeling like this might be my time to shine with you with you with you

I got my head out the sunroof
I’m blasting our favorite tunes
I only got one thing on my mind

You got me stuck on the thought of you
You're making me feel brand new
You’re more than a sunshine in my eyes

I got my head out the sunroof
Woah woah
Woah ooo
You got me stuck on the thought of you
Woah woah
Woah ooo

(Guitar solo)

Yeah We’re driving down the freeway at night
I only got one thing in the back of My mind
I’m feeling like this my be my time to shine with you with you with you

I got my head out the sunroof
I’m blasting our favorite tunes
I only got one thing on my mind

You got me stuck on the thought of you
You’re making me feel brand new
You’re more than a sunshine in my eyes

LYRICS
i was lost now im found
im sustained by the sound
of the angels singing me to sleep
while my feet are leaving the ground
am i dead? or am i dreaming instead?
a cornucopia of opiates have flooded my head
im insane i am smart
all it takes is a spark
to ignite my bad intentions
and do what i do best to your heart
dont be fooled i was raised by the wolves
now the moon hangs in full
so you know i wont play by the rules.

i will never spill, spill my blood for you
you have let me down, one to many times.

someway somehow we've fallen out
caught inbeetween my enemies
no way not now i wont back down
i draw the line at you and me
your what i started now disregarded
one day they'll see, it was always me.

due to mistakes i have made to the state
i am trapped inside a dillinger
dilligently thinking of ways,
to get out of this god awful place
i have learned that my fate
is something i cant escape
so!
sound the alarm what ive said from the start
is ill never let your system
break me down or tear me apart
dont be fooled i was raised by the wolves
now the moon hangs in full
so you know i wont play by the rules

oh!
this is the end of you
this is where i draw the line
and i wont lose
this war is mine
oh!
spill my blood for you one to many times
one day theyll see it was always me.
