Rexton Rawlston Fernando Gordon was born and raised in a Caribbean ghetto, but he knew his passion for music and desire to live the life of his dreams would help him escape. He was popularly known with the stage name “Shabba Ranks”
Shabba was born in Sturge Town, Saint Anne Parish, Jamaica. His parents moved to Kingston in pursuit of better opportunities when he was eight years old.
