{LYRICS}
Beautiful dreams let me paint the scene
Daffodils and dragonflies
Rivers of love never get enough
Always flowing through my mind
It’s the simple things
You don’t dare to dream
I know you gettin’ tired
Step outside have you had enough
Yeah, scream it to the sky

Lawd I wish it was easy
I wish the world would understand
We only tryin’ to live
We all deserve a chance
Livin’ ain’t easy
But freedom is always mine
And I believe that we could see
If we only tried

Ain’t it strange how we rearrange just to fit in with the lies
Let the truth be told it won’t get old
Keep pressin’ for the why
Time goes on and ya don’t belong
You know something ain’t right
We breakin’ hearts and causing pain
Throw your hands up to the sky

Lawd I wish it was easy
I wish the world would understand
We only tryin’ to live
We all deserve a chance
Livin’ ain’t easy
But freedom is always mine
And I believe that we could see
If we only tried

Sometimes it’s hard
But don’t you ever stop
You gotta believe (You gotta believe)
Oh, you gotta believe (You gotta believe)
Don't you look the other way
Keep your head up have your say
You gotta believe (You gotta believe)
Oh, you gotta believe (You gotta believe)

See there’s no time for doubt
Don’t let them count you out
You gotta believe (You gotta believe)
Oh, you gotta believe (You gotta believe)
And when it all seems too much
Beautiful dreams will keep you up
You gotta believe (You gotta believe)
You gotta believe (You gotta believe)

I wish it was easy
I wish the world would understand
We only tryin’ to live
We all deserve a chance
Livin’ ain’t easy
But freedom is always mine
And I believe that we could see
If we only tried

Let me hear ya say
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Let me hear ya say
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Let me hear ya say
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Let me hear ya say
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

I wish it was easy
Oh, I wish the world would understand
We only tryin’ to live
We all deserve a chance
Livin’ ain’t easy
But freedom is always mine
And I believe that we could see
Oh, if we only tried
Lawd, I wish it was easy
Oh, I wish the world would understand
We only tryin’ to live
We all deserve a chance
Livin’ ain’t easy, no
But freedom is always mine
And I believe that we could see

Hittman: The TRAGIC Story Of Dr. Dre’s Former Protégé Hotney 7 Streams • 2 years ago

Dr. Dre is often regarded to be one of the greatest producers of all time. Throughout his career, he’s had many different proteges. Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem, The Game, and Kendrick Lamar are the more notable ones. Though these people are the most known and went on to achieve massive success others didn’t reach those heights under the tutelage of Dr. Dre.

Bishop Lamont, Jon Connor, Knocturnal, Truth Hurts, and Stat Quo are just some names that never really broke through while they were signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records. They each have their own stories on the behind-the-scenes situations that affected their career but the most intriguing story in my opinion is what happened to Hitmann.
