Milky Chance - Living In A Haze (Official Video) Hotney 6 Bekeken • 4 jaar geleden

Here’s the video for our single “Living In A Haze.” This one’s for everybody who wants to be able to dance the pain away.

LYRICS
I been up a couple days I wonder why
I been living in a haze what a foolish life
Now I’m back out on the pavement, don’t know why
I should be dancing
I should be dancing the night away

I wish I was a disco boy
Moving like I’m paranoid
I wish I was a disco boy
I should be dancing the pain away

I’m gonna wear my favorite color tonight, oh my
I’m gonna shake it like the thunder tonight oh my
Dreams up in my head
How far can I get
I hope it’s not too late to fly cause I
Feel like I been going under tonight oh my

I been up a couple days I wonder why
I been living in a haze what a foolish life
Now I’m back out on the pavement, don’t know why
I should be dancing
I should be dancing the night away

I wish I was a disco boy
Moving like I’m paranoid
I wish I was a disco boy
I should be dancing the pain away

I’m gonna wear my favorite color tonight, oh my
I’m gonna shake it like the thunder tonight oh my

I wish I was a disco boy
Moving like I’m paranoid
I wish I was a disco boy
I should be dancing the night away

What Happened To Terence Trent D'Arby? | His Spiritual Journey & Why He Changed His Name Hotney 6 Bekeken • 3 jaar geleden

One could assume that being compared to superstars such as Michael Jackson and Prince is a good thing. However, Terence Trent D’Arby never let the opinions of others dictate the approach to his art throughout his career. He’s even said in interviews that he strongly believes the comparisons were more rooted in him having a similar skin tone as his predecessors than anything else. What he does believe that he has in common with the aforementioned icons is that his goal is to come from as as many different directions as possible to stretch the boundaries of what is considered to be "black music."

Lyrics:

When you can’t win
For losing
And the beggars start choosing the chaos in your head

Calls the cracks to start showing
All knowing all glowing with the light of the
Dying to raise the dead, oh

You’re a world away
But you’re still the same
I know you by your heart
And I will call you by your name

It’s a long way
From the crack to the break

You know that I remember everything

Steady yourself
And your tumbleweed words

Be a street corner preacher
Or just feed the birds

But don’t hold to yourself
With hard mortar and stone

Be a rubber band man
Make the water your bones

Dying just to live
Now

You’re a world away
But you’re still the same

I know you by your heart
And I will call you by your name

And it’s a long way
From the crack to the break

You know that I remember everything

When I said forever

You said get back in the car
Nothing lasts forever babe
You know it breaks my heart

And I’ll call you anything that you like

And I am free and I’m able
To call you the second that you die
Just to live
Now

You’re a world away
But you’re still the same

I know you by your heart
And I will call you by your name

And it’s a long way
From the crack to the break

You know that I remember everything

When I said forever
You said get back in the car
Nothing lasts forever babe
You know it breaks my heart

You’re a world away
But you’re still the same

You know that I remember everything

New ink on your skin
Red lips in the dark

Nothing lasts forever babe
You know it breaks my heart

Put a shiver on your skin
Do your hair in the car

If nothing lasts forever babe
Then can we make a start?
