Today, I walk you through 3 different style, and what makes each of them different. I cover the Mobb Deep style, the DITC style, as well as the Pete Rock style.

Each of these styles have their nuances and unique beatmaking ideas, ranging from sampling styles to drum selection. Getting the small details right can make a huge different in how your beat comes out, so make sure to pay attention!

Selena Quintanilla Pérez (Lake Jackson, 16 de abril de 1971-Corpus Christi, 31 de marzo de 1995) fue una cantante estadounidense de ascendencia mexicana de tex-mex, ranchera, balada, pop latino y cumbia mexicana, además de empresaria, modelo, actriz y diseñadora de moda.
Conocida simplemente como Selena, se le considera una de las figuras más relevantes de ese género musical y una gran exponente de la música latina.

Esposa del guitarrista de heavy metal Chris Pérez, se casaron el 2 de abril de 1992 después de que su padre les negara rotundamente el tener una relación. Selena fue asesinada a los 23 años por Yolanda Saldívar, la presidenta de su club de fanes y encargada de la administración de sus boutiques Selena Etc. Su vida fue llevada al cine en 1997 bajo el nombre de Selena, protagonizada por Jennifer Lopez, quien da vida al personaje de la cantante.

Ese mismo año, el 25 de mayo en Corpus Christi, se inaugura el Mirador de la Flor, lugar el cual tiene una estatua de bronce en su honor. Entre sus más grandes éxitos se encuentran, Como la flor, La carcacha, Amor prohibido, El chico del apartamento 512, No me queda más, Bidi bidi bom bom, Fotos y recuerdos, Si una vez, Techno cumbia, I Could Fall in Love, Tú sólo tú, Dreaming of You, y Siempre hace frió, los cuales se convirtieron en populares en muchas partes del mundo, especialmente Estados Unidos y América Latina.
