J Prince on Rap-A-Lot, Geto Boys, Drake, Respect & Building Legacy Hotney 6 Streams • 5 months ago

Rap-A-Lot Records founder J Prince joins Culture Builders for a powerful conversation on legacy, leadership, faith, independence, and the art of building movements that last.

From staying rooted in Houston’s Fifth Ward to building Rap-A-Lot into one of hip-hop’s most influential independent labels, J Prince breaks down the mindset, work ethic, and strategy behind his success. He reflects on the Geto Boys, Scarface, Mike Dean, Dr. Dre, Jazz Prince discovering Drake, Chicago embracing Rap-A-Lot early, the importance of community investment, and the lessons behind The Art and Science of Respect.

This episode is about more than music. It’s about ownership, cultural power, discipline, faith, and creating a movement over a moment.

CREMATORY - "Welt Aus Glas" (Official Music Video) Hotney 6 Streams • 2 years ago

Taken off the album "Destination" (May 2nd, 2025)

🎧 Stream, get it here: https://crematory.rpm.link/weltausglasYT

"An electronic, danceable EBM song in the style of our electro hit "Shadowmaker" or "Tick Tack", combined with fat guitars and driving drums. A song that gets stuck in your head and that you can sing along to after just one listen. Once again a brilliant club hit ala CREMATORY hitfabrik, just like the band has been known for decades."

Lyrics:
doch manche narben schmerzen.
