Lyrics:

I saw it by the water
doing all the things for the better
then i watched you send it back into the ring

And i heard about the twister
That lives inside your heart
If you speak then i would move
Then i would run right where you are

Then i ripped on through your blouse
As it ripped right through my house
I never knew, i never knew you had such a filthy mouth

But you love me like my mother
And you kiss me like your wife
And i swear to you I'll give you more than i have tonight

Cause the wolves are at my neck
I can't talk about that yet
They've got shit inside those hearts
One day they'll have to repent

On judgement day they'll be
Glued right to the bed
And you'll look and tell me "baby you remember what i said?"

I know who you are
I know you'll be fine
I know who you are
cause you're mine

There i saw you standing
must've been a holy light
Cause i can't see and i can't feel
But the color in your eyes is saying
If my dreams come up empty
And i wash up on the shore
You would find me at the beach
In every life, through every door

With a boombox at your fathers
Walking with you at the morgue
You don't have to search
When i know everything you're looking for

Oh we could talk about it
Or just stare at the wall
But i think that you know better than
What they think they call
A luminary no one
Is all they'll ever be

And how could you be no one
When you're everything to me
You're everything to me
You're everything to me
You're everything to me

Voicemails:

("Hey Gig call me, I love you"
"Hey Gig call me babe”)

( " I just wanted to say I love you one more time.. I love you. Goodbye " )

Lyrics

I, I was blind, the flowers bloomed
You were quiet in the loudest rooms
I was dancing
I heard the loudest whispers that never made it true
You were looking for an answer while I was looking for you
You were dancing
I was shot out a cannon over every moon
Then I saw your face in a crowded room
You were dancing and I was dancing too
Guess I was dancing too
I was looking for the kingdom of clowns and fools
Til i saw your face in a crowded room
You were dancing and I was dancing too
You were dancing
I was burning ever candle
Like a dog without a bone
You were lighting every flame
Through a shiny phone
Yeah you were dancing
I was kicked up outta heaven
Forgot not what I know
Then I saw you preaching from a plastic throne
Now I'm dancing
I was looking for the kingdom of clowns and fools
Til i saw your face in that crowded room
You were dancing and I was dancing too
It takes 28 years just to figure it out
28 ways just to let it out
How it gets to you
What's left of you
You got 28 years just to work it all out
Another 28 years just to figure out what it meant to you
Now i'm next to you, and we're dancing too
You were dancing, yeah you were dancing
And I was dancing too

"I'm ONLY Hard To Work With If You're Trying To ROB ME!” Dame Dash EXPOSES REVOLT &am Hotney 6 Streams • 1 year ago

"I'm ONLY Hard To Work With If You're Trying To ROB ME!” Dame Dash EXPOSES REVOLT & Jay-Z

In this raw and unfiltered conversation, the legendary Dame Dash pulls no punches, breaking down everything from his infamous "hard to work with" reputation to the insidious ways the industry exploits Black culture. Dame addresses the critics directly, explaining why he's only "hard to rob" and why true creators thrive under his mentorship.

He dives deep into why everyone still asks him about Jay-Z, revealing the painful lessons learned from past betrayals, and drops gems on the dangers of holding cash, why your bank account might be a trap, and how to stop paying the "ignorance tax" to a system designed to keep you broke.

But it's not just about the problems; Dame lays out the blueprint for solutions. He passionately advocates for owning our own platforms, like his "America Nu" streaming service, to control our narrative and showcase positive visuals beyond just entertainment. He stresses the critical importance of teaching your children and building a family legacy that prioritizes love and time over superficial wealth.

This isn't just an interview; it's a masterclass from a true general of the culture. If you're tired of being a "digital sharecropper" and ready to build your own empire, you NEED to hear this.

Lyrics:
You see that girl?
There’s just somethin’ about her
I just
I just love the way she
Verse 1
Struttin’ like a runway show that collarbone could cut a
Damn cake
(That girl right there, she’s uhhhh)
Extraterrestrial she looking like she landed from space
(Damn babe)

And tonight she got me wrapped around her finger so tight
If looks really kill then baby show me the light
I think I could die from just one look in her eyes
Then she was like

Don’t blink
You might miss it
Don’t talk too much just listen (okay)
You’re sweet, I get it
But I want something acidic (like what?)
Don’t think, just sip it
Don’t start some shit u can’t finish (okay)
If you slick
And stay with it
Then I just might let you (what?)
Hit it

Soho living solo need no company to have a good time
(huhhh)
Miracle exterior I’m tryna see what’s on the inside
(ohhhhhh)

And tonight she got me wrapped around her finger so tight
If looks really kill then baby show me the light
I think I could die from just one look in her eyes
Then she was like

Don’t blink
You might miss it
Don’t talk too much just listen (okay)
You’re sweet (I’m sweet), I get it (you get it)
But I want something acidic (like what?)
Don’t think, just sip it (ay)
Don’t start some shit u can’t finish (okay)
If you slick
And stay with it (I’m with it)
Then I just might let you (what?)
Hit it

Yo I think she’s kinda feelin’ me
I mean, we locked eyes once or twice already
And uh, yo yo yo I think she’s walkin’ over here
With them hips and them jewels on her waist
I ain’t ever seen a girl like that
Pop out and shut down the whole place
I ain’t never fall in love so fast
Wanna drink her down (drink her down)
Spin her round (spin her round)
Ooooh you got me feelin’ so good babe

And tonight she got me wrapped around her finger so tight (so tight)
If looks really kill then baby show me the light
I think I could die from just one look in her eyes
Then she was like

Don’t blink
You might miss it
Don’t talk too much just listen (okay) (ooooh)
You’re sweet, I get it
But I want something acidic
Don’t think, (don’t think) just sip it (just sip it)
Don’t start some shit u can’t finish (okay)
If you slick
And stay with it (uh huh)

Lydia the Bard - THE WOODS (Official Animatic Music Video) Hotney 6 Streams • 1 year ago

Lydia the Bard - THE WOODS (Official Animatic Music Video)

🎧👉DEBUT ALBUM here! - https://ffm.to/thewoodsdebutalbum.OYD

💿👉ORDER THE CD - https://lydiathebard.bandcamp.com/album/the-woods

💚👉ALL MY LINKS - https://lydiathebard.komi.io

THE ALBUM IS OUT YOU GUYS!! ITS OUT ITS OUT, so you BETTER go stream it the WHOLE WAY THROUGH. And yes that is a threat. (Jk jk, but you should defo check it out I’ve never worked harder on anything maybe ever)

I hope you enjoyed this animatic of the title track from my album!! I’ll be releasing animatics for all of the songs on the album so this is the first of many! Come back next week to see the animatic for the next song on my album ‘RUN’.

✨About the song✨

This song, The Woods, is all about reckoning and retribution and how those that exploit others for profit will one day have to face what they’ve done. Their sins are so vast they’re carved into the very core of the earth and even if humans struggle to fight back, Nature itself will revolt!

This song is the first on my debut album ‘The Woods’! I can’t believe I’m even typing those words, when I first started my journey on YouTube I didn’t think I could even write a song, let alone an ALBUM. This is by far the biggest project I’ve ever attempted and the most of myself I’ve ever put into a project! I really hope when you listen to the album you get to know the girl behind the villain songs a little bit more!

🌎WORLD DOMINATION STRATEGY🌍

Now down to the real stuff, how do we take over the world? World domination isn’t easy but I believe in you. Once we’ve taken over the world maybe then Fig can finally be the figure skating chef of his dreams!

STEP 1 - stream the album the whole way through! If you have 40 minutes and really want to immerse yourself in my world then streaming the whole album is a great idea and also tells the algorithm gods that it’s a good album so they recommend it to more people!

STEP 2 - save the album to your library and playlists! Again this really helps to get the album out there, world domination is all a matter of lots of small steps so don’t miss this one!

STEP 3 - stream the album again - or just your fave songs from the album! And maybe then Fig (my cat) can finally meet his Idol, Dwayne the Rock Johnson

💚 HUGE THANK YOUS 💚

🎶 Co-writer: Ben Tomalin, you’re a musical genius and an incredible friend. I’m so glad we made this album together!

🎨 Video: @maybemacdc, your work is absolutely INSANE, thank you for bringing this world to life!

✨LYRICS✨

There’s a girl out there
Walking real slow
Grief sings on the air
Fire, ash and smoke
She may be gone for now
but she’ll be back again

Starvations running the Sky
The Days are hot, wells are dry
Picking off the common folk
Coming for their loved ones and their throats
Pray to last the night
But there’s not much left to die
Famine circles, takes a bite
As hunger steals their life and then their lives

The devils sit on white chairs
As the people sing to the wind

Oh the day will come
When your dates read
Hear that hungry noise
See the hells fed
Oh and then you’ll run
But just so you know
Anywhere you go
Oh the woods will know

Wealth sits on a throne
Here wells overflow
Lounging under Money trees
Set to bring the whole world to its knees It claims the air you breathe

Burns what it can’t seize
Theres no force as feverish as avarice, as greed

The devils claim their saviours
As the people starve and spirits sing

Oh the day will come
When your dates read
Hear that hungry noise
See the hells fed
Oh and then you’ll run
But just so you know
Anywhere you go
Oh the woods will know

The dirt told the grass and the fields told the flowere
The folly of man and those seated in power

Briars told branches and leaves told the trees
It takes one song to break rich knees

Grove told the glen and the vale told the meadow
They sang the same song and they let the noise echo

Streams told the rivers and hills told the mountain
Til one angry girl heard the whisper of sound and

She could hear the earth
Hear it screaming
Hear that hungry noise
Ripe for feeding
She could hear the ground
Hear it’s beating
Earth and Dirt were done
With their cheating
She packed up her gun
Joined in with the sound
Couldn’t kill me then
And you can’t kill me now

Oh the day will come
When your dates read
Hear that hungry noise
See the hells fed
Oh even the sun
Knows what you said
Lay your head upon
Dirt and Deathbed
Oh and then you’ll run
But just so you know
Anywhere you go
Oh the woods will know

G Herbo On Lil Herb, King Von, Chief Keef, Nicki Minaj, Juice WRLD & Marriage Hotney 6 Streams • 1 year ago

Visit https://prizepicks.onelink.me/LME0/SHANNON and use code SHANNON and get $50 in lineups when you play your first $5 lineup!

G Herbo joins Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay for a raw and powerful conversation about his life, music, and journey from Chicago’s East Side to rap superstardom. As he celebrates his birthday and the release of his new album Lil Herb, he opens up about the hunger that fueled his rise—from a 15-year-old kid rapping in the streets to one of hip-hop’s most authentic voices.

Lil Herb takes fans back to his teenage years—growing up surrounded by violence, losing close friends, and navigating Chicago’s East Side. He recalls playing basketball at local parks, chasing dreams of going D1 before life pushed him toward music. Idols like Derrick Rose and comparisons to “Nick the Quick” gave him hope, but rap became his purpose. Even after playing in a celebrity basketball game with Drake, J. Cole, 21 Savage, and Chris Brown—where his team beat Drake and Savage’s squad a few times—he wouldn’t trade his career for anything.

Herbo credits Chris Brown, Future, Meek Mill, Young Thug, and Juice WRLD as inspirations who pour their souls into every record. He explains his creative process—freestyling in his head before recording—and opens up about surviving Chicago’s streets: dropping out of school for safety, carrying a gun at 14, and getting shot at 16.

Reflecting on King Von and Juice WRLD, he shares emotional stories about loss, survivor’s guilt, and grief. His best friend’s death led to heavy drinking and depression until a tough-love wake-up call changed his life. Support from 21 Savage and mentors like Common helped him heal. He also credits Chance the Rapper and Common for teaching him the importance of knowledge and growth. Chief Keef inspired his move to L.A., and Nicki Minaj jumpstarted his career with a feature that led to tours with Future, Cam’ron, and T.I.

Herbo opens up about therapy, insomnia, and substance abuse, explaining how his nonprofit gives kids access to mental health support. He admits wasting time chasing the streets instead of the studio, but he’s proud of his growth.

Approaching 30, he talks fatherhood, co-parenting, and love—raising his kids with honesty and empathy while keeping his relationship with fiancée Taina grounded.

Before wrapping, he crowns his Chicago rap lineup—Chief Keef, Kanye West, Lil Durk, and Juice WRLD—and explains why Juice’s impact mirrors Tupac and Biggie. He closes by breaking down his Lil Herb album cover, a reminder of how far he’s come since his first mugshot at 11.

From pain to purpose, trauma to triumph, G Herbo’s interview with Shannon Sharpe is one of his most honest yet—a story of survival, growth, and legacy that cements his place among Chicago’s greats.
