Inside Doechii’s Grammy Awards Looks | Vogue Hotney 13 vistas • 2 años hace

"Somebody hand me a platter ‘cause I’m about to serve!" Vogue goes behind the scenes with Doechii for an exclusive first look at her final fitting before her show-stopping Grammy awards performance. Three days before the big night in Los Angeles, Doechii is deep in collaboration with Thom Browne’s team, perfecting a series of jaw-dropping looks. From a streamlined, corseted suit with flared hips for the red carpet to bell-ringing heels that demand attention during her acceptance speech, every detail is a statement. As she gets ready, Doechii breaks down why Thom Browne was the obvious choice, reflecting on the evolution of fashion in hip-hop, including the influence of icons like Jay-Z, who redefined the genre’s entire aesthetic.

The Reason Why 50 Cent Got Shot 9 Times [The Supreme Team] Hotney 13 vistas • 4 años hace

50 Cent Ja Rule & Supreme Beef for which 50 Cent got shot for: Ghetto Quran & the Reason Why 50 Cent Was Shot 9 Times (Supreme McGriff, E-Money Bags, Jam Master Jay & Prodigy from Mobb Deep)

Who shot 50 Cent? Days before 50 Cent was scheduled to film its music video, he was attacked by a gunman in the infamous shooting incident that left him with nine gunshot wounds and gave him his dimple scar; an event that 50 Cent often references in his lyrics. While hospitalized, he signed a publishing deal with Columbia Records; however, he was dropped from the label after it was discovered that he had been shot. The track, "Ghetto Qur'an (Forgive Me)", has been speculated to be the reason for the shooting.

The third and final single, "Your Life's on the Line", was released in 1999. The song was produced by Terrence Dudley, and was perceived as a diss song to Ja Rule, which would begin their highly publicized feud on records. 50 mocks Ja Rule's catchphrase "Murdaa!", on the chorus of the song. A music video for this song was released, which was also the only song with a music video of the whole album. The song would later be included as a bonus track on 50's officially released debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin'.

Lyrics:

my name is pink and I’m really glad to meet you
you’re recommended to me by some people
hey! ouuuuu, is this illegal?
hey! ouuuuu, it feels illegal?
I’ve suffered quite a few times with paranoia
oh what’s your name? i don’t know what i should call ya
hey! ouuuuu, here’s 20 for ya?
hey! ouuuuu, we’re getting high around the corner (wow)
one after one now you’re sitting on my bed
then later on we can talk all night instead
two into one while you’re sitting on my bed
then later on i can feel shame in my head
we’ll meet again when my head works like it used to
and maybe next time i’ll tell my girl come through
i like the fact that we don’t communicate
as long as you don’t tell all your best mates
one after one now you’re sitting on my bed
then later we can talk on it instead
two into one while you’re sitting on my bed
then later on i can feel shame in my head
one after one now you’re (now you’re, now you’re, now you’re)
and now you’re sitting on my bed
two into one while you’re sitting on my bed
then later on i can feel shame in my head
my name is pink and I’m really glad to meet you
you’re recommended to me by some people
i think i smoked enough loud to reach the both of us
but tell me why my heartbeat is in a rush
hey! ouuuuu, is this illegal?
hey! ouuuuu, it feels illegal?
(wow)

Chic ~ I Want Your Love 1978 Disco Purrfection Version Hotney 13 vistas • 2 años hace

If you are interested in purchasing digital download make sure to THUMBS UP! If I am prove a viable interest it would help my case to get this digital. I also have thought about this for Side A of a vinyl 12 single. Side B Spinners I'll Be Around. I think it would do really well. Anyway you can leave helpful comments. This thumbs up thing goes for everything on this channel. Big action means getting you closer to having your own vinyl or digital music you love from an online service.

It's been 40 years since when this was #1 on the Disco chart for 7 weeks starting the week ending November 25, up to December 30, 1978 when the combo of Le Freak", "Chic Cheer" and "I Want Your Love" ruled the clubs. A seriously funky disco song with a groove that never ends, it doesn't build and break like the anthemic "Le Freak" but has this hypnotizing mix of polyrhythms that intoxicate, hypnotize and invigorate.

I hope you like this new extended remix, I really enjoyed putting this one together...the fabulous and famous Chic string section open this sinuously sexy song remix of want and need, something we can all relate to. I love the strings in this one, so beautifully produced and performed by three women who are Cheryl Hong, Karen Milne and Marianne Carroll. They played on every Chic project starting with 1978's "C'est Chic" all the way to "Real People" in 1980, Sheila & B Devotion's "Spacer" and on Johnny Mathis' stillborn Chic produced "I Love My Lady" that finally saw official release in 2019.

The new style the boys used for Johnny Mathis was more subdued and perfect for the time, but Mathis' manager and label felt that it did not advance his career and that he was barely recognizable. I think that it would have been a hit, revitalizing Johnny's career and the remixes would have been out of this world had they gone ahead with the project back in 1980. Promo versions on vinyl made their way to some DJ's, notably Tee Scott who famously played some of the tracks on his radio show and then bootlegs were being passed around the internet for years. There even was a website that had some of the tracks uploaded so you could listen to them and they finally got all the tracks up there some time ago, a few years before the official release of a few songs from "I Love My Lady" that made its appearance on Nile Rodgers Presents The Chic Organization* - Box Set Vol. 1 / "Savoir Faire" in 2010. I for one would still love to hear the demo for "Le Freak" with all its expletive deleted glory.

Lyrics:
Hey, baby
You're driving me crazy
With that special loving feeling that you give to me
And I'm so proud, you want me to be your lady
Now I know how it feels to live a fantasy

I used to dream about love
And sure that's how it was
But I don't have to dream no more
'Cause I, I got more than I can stand
I found me a lover in another man
I got you, baby, that's all I was waiting for

And I love the way you love me
I place no one above the one true love
And I love the way you love me
And baby no matter what
I love the, I love the way you love
(Oh oh...oh oh...oh oh)

Oh, baby, baby, baby
I might as well face it
I've fallen in too deep
You have control of me
Without a doubt
It has to be the greatest
You're every bit the man I had hoped you'd be

I used to dream about love
And sure that's how it was
But I don't have to dream no more, oh no
'Cause when I think about your loving, that I good thing
I get excited from the feeling that it's giving to me
So won't you keep it coming, baby?
'Cause I love the joy you bring
I, oh, oh, I love

And I love the way you love me
(I love it, love it, love it)
I place no one above (Yeah)
The one true love (Yeah)
And I love the way you love me
And baby no matter what
I love the, I love the way you love
(Oh oh...oh oh...oh oh)
I love the way you love
(Oh, oh)
(Oh, oh)
I got a love
(Oh, oh)
So don't you stop
I love the way...

One: For all the special love
Two: A sensitive and tender touch
Three: Because you please
You bring out the best in me

'Cause when I think about your loving, that I got a good thing
I get excited from the feeling that it's giving to me
So won't you keep it coming, baby
'Cause I love the joy you bring
I, oh, oh, I love

(Oh oh...oh oh...oh oh)
I love the way you love
(Oh oh...oh oh...oh oh)
I love the way

And I love the way you love me
(I love it, love it, love it)
I place no one above (Yeah)
The one true love (Yeah)
And I love the way you love me
And baby no matter what
I love the, I love the way you love

Oh, baby, keep it coming, uh
Oh, baby, keep it coming, uh
Oh, baby, keep it coming, uh

One: For all the special love
Two: A sensitive and tender touch
Three: Because you please
You bring out the best in me

'Cause when I think about your loving, that I got a good thing
I get excited from the feeling that it's giving to me
So won't you keep it coming, baby
'Cause I love the joy you bring
I, oh, oh, I love

The way you love me
I place no one above, the one true love
And I love the way you love me
And baby no matter what
I love the, I love the way you love

(Oh oh)
You love me all over
(Oh, oh)
You love me all over
(Oh, oh)
I love the way you love
(Oh, oh)
You love me all over
(Oh, oh)
You love me all over
(Oh, oh)
I love the way

And I love
The way you love me (I love it)
I place no one above, the one true love
And I love...

Lyrics:
Jis Cheez Se Dard Mile
Kyu Baar Baar Karta Hai Wai Sajna
Jis Cheez Se Dard Mile
Kyu Baar Baar Karta Hai Wai Sajna
Thoda Ta Khayal Kar Sadda Dil Lohe Da Ta Nai Sajna
Sada Dil Lohe Da Ta Nai Sajna

Behte Hain Na Behte Hain Na
Ansu Mere Behte Hain Na
Jab Wo Humse Kehte Hain Na
Dost Banke Rehte Hain Na

Adhoore Waadon Ko Anjam Nahi Deta
Rishta To Rakhta Hai Par Naam Nahi Deta
Adhoore Waadon Ko Anjam Nahi Deta
Rishta To Rakhta Hai Par Naam Nahi Deta
Pinjre Me Band Panchi Ki Tarah Rakhta Hai
Udne Ko Khulla Aasman Nahi Deta

Asi Tere Bin Koi Takkya Nahi
Tu Mere Moore Takke Chehre Kai Sajna
Asi Tere Bin Koi Takkya Nahi
Tu Mere Moore Takke Chehre Kai Sajna
Thoda Ta Khayal Kar Sada Dil Lohe Da Ta Nai Sajna
Sada Dil Lohe Da Ta Nai Sajna

Behte Hain Na Behte Hain Na
Ansu Mere Behte Hain Na
Jab Wo Humse Kehte Hain Na
Dost Banke Rehte Hain Na

Dard Tan Dindai Yaar Mera Araam Nai Dinda
Apne Naam De Piche Wala Naam Nai Dinda
Dard Tan Dindai Yaar Mera Araam Nai Dinda
Apne Naam De Piche Wala Naam Nai Dinda
Aap Pata Nai Kihnu Kihnu Kithey Kithey Mildai
Asi Je Howe Milna Sanu Jaan Nai Dinda
Sada Ohde Kol Kuch Lukeya Nahi
Ohne Sadde Ton Lukoye Raaz Kai Sajna
Thoda Taan Khyaal Kar Sada Dil Lohe Da Tan Nai Sajjna
Sada Dil Lohe Da Tan Nai Sajna

Behte Hain Na Behte Hain Na
Ansu Mere Behte Hain Na
Jab Wo Humse Kehte Hain Na
Dost Banke Rehte Hain Na

Lyrics

Give it up... we gon' show, you how we party
[timbaland (whispering)] up jumps da boogie (repeat 3x)
(repeat all 4x)
I fiend for all beats, like girls jump for dicks
Don't salt the next man, keep that lindbergh shit
Up in the cut, like **** niggaz, in butt
I'm black wit indian, my race should be mutt
I cut with razor blades, play spades with aunt venus
E-valuate this rap, take heed a fuckin genius
Up in the sky, up high, don't puff lye
Do you smoke crack sam? prepare to fuckin die
Fuck crazy joe, my name is crazy flow
You thought i had eight, but i got ten mo'
Off beat and on beat, old school like beat street
I stink like pop's feet, make sweat wit no heat
I'm up on this track, like pam grier in movies
I heats up the beat, like water in a jacuzzi
I fly to l.a., then come back to virginia
Then call, maganoo, to see if he's got some indo
Then back to the crib to pick up my brother, g
G don't forget, to bring the house keys
Hops in the eight, five-oh now here we go
Please please, brother don't slam my car do'
It costs too much money to get that shit fixed
I need all my money to pay my bills with
Don't have no time, for the shuckin and jivin
Peep my rhyme, cause that, shit's off-timin
I'm in the marriott, the place to get got
After i smoke pot, he sticks me like shots
Funky like farts, connect tongues like dots
Lick his lollipop, this kid named scott
Me my hot self, my self be so hot
Touch my hot spot, i scream til i can't stop
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh (what, what?)
Give it to me daddy and
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh (what, what?)
Yup, yup like teddy
Teddy, ready with tha one two checka
No diggity, missy be the bedroom wrecka
Double decka, make you want to beat your pecka
And then leave your bitch, cause this uhhh! be better
Give it up!
Up jumps da boogie, boogie jumps me (repeat 4x)
Give it up! we gon' show, you how we party
Up jumps da boogie, boogie jumps me (repeat 2x)
Give it up! we gon' show, you how we party
Prepare to get wet, like jheri curl juice
You tight like virgin pussy, my rap get you loose
I bump like ac-ne, take honey from a bee
My style is like a safe, without da fuckin key
I cum cause i'm a nut, don't bleed when i'm cut
No fan of madonna, she just a damn slut
So sit you damn dog, and bow to my shit
Nit-wit you stupid, i'm butter don't need grits
Make fits like seizure, lick clit to please ya
I book then read ya, follow da leader
Like jews and chinese, i own your rap lease
The wackness must cease, prepare for yo' release
I'm up in these labels tryin to, handle my business
Been makin more beats before, jehovah had witness
Up jumps da boogie, boogie jumps me
Brother brother, please, turn on the tv
See a black man dead, from a white man's powder
See a white man scared, from a black man's power
Back to reality, please don't freakin smile at me
This is a stick-up, so give up yo' wallet please
I'm the best, and that's be , and that's capital
I hang low like testicles, mc's want to copy these many flows
Hoes, better back up, foe they get slapped up
Pack up and go tell mommy, that i backed up you
You you you, and your whole screw
What, whatcha whatcha whatcha gon' do uhh, what whatcha gon' do
To me, the m-i-double s-why-e
want to battle me, it's gonna be some tragedy
Give it up! we gon' show, you how we party
Up jumps da boogie, boogie jumps me (repeat 4x)
(repeat all 2x)
Give it up! we gon' show, you how we party
(repeat to fade)
