The Death of New Orleans Legend Magnolia Shorty: Caught in The Crossfire

On Monday, December 20th, 2010, rapper Magnolia Shorty, aka Renetta Yemika Lowe, was booked for a show in Miami. She was headed to her apartment in a gated community called the Georgetown of New Orleans.
Shorty had planned to stop at home for just a few minutes to grab a few things before going to perform at a Bounce festival. But she never made it to her performance.
