It's hard to overstate the kindness and good-natured humor Bono and The Edge brought to the Tiny Desk. When they first arrived at the NPR Music offices, Bono spoke on an imaginary phone, "The talent's here! The talent's coming through," poking fun at their own fame, while carrying The Edge's guitar. (The Edge called Bono the best roadie he's ever had.) The two never stopped beaming, like two overjoyed newcomers thrilled at the chance to play for someone.
The performance was a preview of U2's new album, Songs Of Surrender, featuring stripped-down versions of songs from across the band's catalog. To help pull off several reimagined songs from the 2000 album All That You Can't Leave Behind, Bono and The Edge invited a teen choir from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., to join them. During rehearsals, Bono told the students to think of "Beautiful Day" as the kind of "post-drinking" singalong you'd bellow with friends after leaving a bar. He then quickly realized none of them are old enough to drink, before feigning a heart attack.
Traveling without bassist Adam Clayton or drummer Larry Mullen Jr., Bono and The Edge made the trip from Ireland to the States specifically for the Tiny Desk, arriving in D.C. after five days of rehearsals at Bono's New York apartment. When they settled in for the performance, they treated the office to four songs, including a deeply emotional version of "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of," written for the late INXS singer Michael Hutchence, and a reworked version of "Walk On," which Bono said was inspired by and dedicated to the people of Ukraine.

TORONTO 🇨🇦 4K Drone - FLYING OVER TORONTO 4K - Areal View with Relaxing Music for Stress Relief
Toronto is the largest city in Canada with just under 3 million inhabitants and the capital of the province of Ontario. Toronto is located on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, the smallest of the five Great Lakes in North America.
The landmark of Toronto is the 553-meter high CN Tower (Canadian National Tower), which was completed in 1976. It is the tallest freestanding structure on the American double continent and dominates the skyline. With around two million visitors a year, the tower is one of the most visited buildings in Canada, although it was originally only planned for radio transmission. Until September 12, 2007, the CN Tower was also the tallest free-standing structure on earth.
The former SkyDome, which opened in 1989 and renamed the Rogers Center on February 2, 2005, is adjacent to the CN Tower. The 54,000-seat arena is home to the BlueJays (baseball) and the Argonauts (Canadian football) and when it opened, it was the first sports arena in the world to have a fully retractable roof and the largest video board in the world.
East of the Rogers Center on the south side of the railway lines is the multipurpose arena Air Canada Center, which, in addition to concerts and theater performances, also serves as the home game arena for the Toronto Raptors basketball team, the Toronto Maple Leafs ice hockey team, the Toronto Rock lacrosse team and the Toronto Phantoms football team. Depending on the event, the hall can accommodate up to 19,800 spectators.
Toronto has several major museums. The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) with the main collections Canadian painting, European painting and sculptures by Henry Moore is one of the largest art museums in North America.
The Royal Ontario Museum, usually only known as ROM, is the largest museum in Canada. It has collections on the natural sciences, archeology, art and cultural history as well as on the First Nations. It became world-famous through its art collection from the Far East. Since June 2007 the ROM has had ten extended galleries. The new building and the old building were nested into one another. The new exterior facade, The Crystal, has a jagged, crystal-like shape that can be attributed to deconstructionism, consisting of 25% glass and 75% aluminum. The main entrance to the museum is located in the facade facing Bloor Street West.

Toronto, CANADA 4K UHD | Cinematic Video with Calming Music | Just Relax | Meditation Vibes
Toronto, city, capital of the province of Ontario, southeastern Canada. It is the most populous city in Canada, a multicultural city, and the country’s financial and commercial centre. Its location on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, which forms part of the border between Canada and the United States, and its access to Atlantic shipping via the St. Lawrence Seaway and to major U.S. industrial centres via the Great Lakes have enabled Toronto to become an important international trading centre.
I hope this relaxation film that helps you meditate and reduce stress. Enjoy yourself!

My homage to ancient Rome. Aetas Romana is Latin and means "the age of Rome".
With this song I tried to create something that takes me back to the time in which Rome was at its peak and stretched from Britannia to Syria over snow-covered plains to scorching deserts. The song itself is not like Illyricum, which was meant to be as traditional as possible. In this song I chose a composing style closer to movie scores, which gives much more room for dramatics and feelings of awe and mystery. The first 4min are actually a different scale than most of the later parts, it starts with an Arabian scale and then transitions into Aeolian minor which is a classic European scale. So in a sense it can be seen as if you'd travel from the East into the centre of the Roman Empire as the song progresses.
All music composed and arranged by Adrian von Ziegler.

The story of Taraf de Caliu is a metamorphosis in itself, as after more than three decades of relentlessly touring all over the world, the founding members of Taraf de Haidouks came back home to Romania and started this new project.
They show their skills plentifully in this fabulous performance of traditional Romanian music, a joyful and lively music showed performed for the first time on a TEDx stage. Since 1991, their music conquered Western Europe in tours and performances on almost all continents. Their talent and roots have evolved with culturally diverse influences from Tokyo, Singapore, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Istanbul or London. If we are to name just a few of their fans and collaborators, we’d go for Yehudi Menuhin, Kronos Quartet (alongside which they produced), Johnny Depp (with whom they starred in “The Man Who Cried”) and Yohji Yamamoto.
After more than three decades of relentlessly touring all over the world, the founding members of Taraf de Haidouks came back and started a new project: Taraf de Caliu – comprising of: “Gheorghe “Caliu” Anghel – violin, Ionică Tănase – cimbalom, Marius „Marin” Manole – accordion / voice, Sile Neacșu- bass, Filip Simeonov – Clarinet, Viorica Rudăreasa – voice, Ionuț Gulună – voice.
Under the name of Taraf de Haidouks, the group was awarded in 2002 with BBC World Music prize for Best Group in Europe & Middle East. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx

Enjoy this Hawaiian sunset cafe ambience with relaxing Hawaiian guitar music and crashing waves sounds. Listen to the instrumental Hawaiian music, chirping birds, and beach waves while you take in the view of a tropical sunset. Let your worries melt away and take a mental vacation to Hawaii. Settle in to watch the gently swaying palm trees against a beautiful island sunset over the ocean. Let the soothing sounds of a Hawaiian cafe / beach bar with slack key guitar and pedal steel create an atmosphere of peace and calm around you as you sleep, study, meditate, or relax.
This 8-hour calming music and waves ambience video was created by blending many layers of relaxing ambient sounds together to create an original background soundscape meant to help reduce stress and anxiety. Many people find ambient videos like this helpful for working, reading, sleeping, or general relaxation. All sounds and images were created by Calmed By Nature or used with permission. I collaborated with several artists to create the playlist for this video. For the tracklist, please see below.

Enjoy Relaxation Film of Austria in 4K Nature soundscape
🎹 Richard | Relaxation Film
At heart, I fall for nature callings from early morning bird chirpings, and nature. I capture them into everyday accessible videos. My footage is self-recorded and combined with the footage I bought when there wasn't enough time to shoot them. Nature sound and music turn into relaxing videos called Relaxation Film on each theme of nature, forest.

It might be difficult to believe, but American rock band KISS is now in its 50th year. And to help celebrate the milestone the group invited Sarah Abo to Paris for a taste of their jet-set lifestyle and to show her how they’ve survived and thrived in a notoriously fickle industry. Founding band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, who are now in their 70s, prove age is no barrier to successful showbiz careers, as they apply their over-the-top makeup and don their comic-book costumes to belt out their myriad hits. And for KISS fans there’s more good news – not only is their music as loud as ever, they’re planning another visit to Australia.

The Seekers were a group of Australian folk-influenced popular musicians that was formed in Melbourne in 1962. They were the first Australian popular music group to achieve major chart and sales success in the United Kingdom and the United States. They were a highly popular band during the 1960s.
Their best-known configuration was:
Judith Durham: vocals, piano, tambourine
Athol Guy: double bass, vocals
Keith Potger: twelve-string guitar, banjo, vocals
Bruce Woodley: guitar, mandolin, banjo, vocals
They had nine hits in Britain and Australia in the 1960s: "I'll Never Find Another You", "A World of Our Own", "The Carnival Is Over" (which The Seekers have sung at various closing ceremonies in Australia, including Expo '88 and the Paralympics and still stands as the 30th Best Selling Song in the United Kingdom), "Someday One Day", "Walk With Me", "Morningtown Ride", "Georgy Girl" (the title song of the film of the same name), "When Will the Good Apples Fall" and "Emerald City".
Bruce Woodley's and Dobe Newton's song "I Am Australian", which has been recorded by The Seekers, and by singer Judith Durham with Russell Hitchcock and Mandawuy Yunupingu, has become an unofficial Australian anthem. To date The Seekers have sold over 50 million records.
The Song "I'll Never Find Another You" was added to the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia's Sounds of Australia registry in 2011.
