Thanks to Rick for the new clean video footage.

Audio remastered and audio/video sync optimized this way :
• I had to change global EQ on every song to give more power on the bass frequencies, and more clarity on high/medium frequencies.
• I pushed audio dynamics to current standards (compression and expansion)
• Some parts are in 16/9 but reduced to a small 4/3 screen size. I adjusted them in full screen.
• And finally I had to re-sync video with audio on each song due to decays of synchronization increasing all along the concert.
• Last but not least, the video may have been shot on old PAL or NTSC standards, meaning low definition, and 25 or 30 fps … The Full HD 60 FPS gives no gain for this old material.
So I remastered Rick’s Video to 1280x720, 30 fps, and added a sharpening filter on the full video.

This may be one of their best “Jeff” concerts with the early one at the Agora Ballroom, that you can find on this YouTube channel ;o)

Some of my all time favorite bands have had a Ric bass driving the car. I was an early "prog rock" kid and would sit listening to Genesis and Yes by the hour. Later I followed Rush as they pushed me through the end of high school and into my college years. But I rarely saw people using them in local bands and I never understood why. Now I know that there weren't that many built, and the ones that could be found were expensive compared to the Fender and Gibson guitars I did see.

So this has taken me a while to circle back to making. I enjoyed the reading and enjoyed wading through all the various models and artists. I hope you do too.

This footage, taped for the CBS-affiliate KDFW, contains a short, unedited interview with Stevie Nicks, the frontwoman for the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. Taped just after the band's arrival in Dallas for a concert at the Reunion Arena in August 1980, the interview focuses on Fleetwood Mac's decision to return to touring, the importance of playing live shows, and chemistry amongst members of the band. Nicks, who spent several of her childhood years in Texas, also briefly mentions the band's preference for playing in the Lone Star State.

(Note: This interview occurred earlier than the stated description, based on what the interviewer asked Stevie, so it's probably closer to 1978.)

In this full-length interview, Freeway discusses the energy surrounding his city as they prepare for the Super Bowl and how Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock” is currently situated as Philly’s anthem. The conversation shifted gears as Freeway talked about growing up in Philly during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He also discussed his religion and the struggle he faces as a rapper who is also a devout Muslim. From there, he explains how former West coast drug lord Freeway Ricky inspired his choice of a rap name. He also reflects on meeting Beanie Sigel for the first time before chronicling the events that led to him signing with Roc-A-Fella Records. He also talks about recording with Jay-Z for the first time.

As the conversation moves along, Freeway discusses his work with the late Nate Dogg before breaking down Jay-Z's legendary recording process for rap verses. The Philadelphia native also discusses his relationship with iconic hip-hop producers Just Blaze and Kanye West. Elsewhere in the Q&A session, Freeway explains why he chose to leave Def Jam and why he prefers to release music independently nowadays. Moving on, he touches on the brief moment when he considered signing with Birdman at Cash Money Records. Von dieser Spezies sind rund 4000 Arten beschrieben, und genauso beständig, wie Grünalgen Gewässer besiedeln, so konstant tummeln sich Spyro Gyra – so der Band- und Grünalgenname – seit fast 50 Jahren in der Welt des Jazz.

Über 10.000 Gigs hat die US-amerikanische Jazz-Fusion-Band in fünf Jahrzehnten auf sechs Kontinenten gespielt, sie wurde mehrfach mit dem Grammy ausgezeichnet und hat mehr als 30 Alben veröffentlicht, etliche Gold- und Platinauszeichungen eingeheimst und über zehn Millionen Tonträger verkauft. Fester Ankerpunkt bei all dem, was Spyro Gyra in ihrer langen Karriere gemacht haben, ist dabei Fusion. Die Musiker um das Gründungsmitglied, den Saxofonisten Jay Beckenstein, kombinieren smoothen Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Funk, Latin, Pop und Rock und kreieren daraus einen Sound, der vor allem immer eins ist: stilistisch offen und breit gefächert. „Kunst manifestiert sich in einer Vielzahl von Stilrichtungen und Kontexten.
