In a time where R&B music is almost becoming like the deceased memory of the hip hop Group, today’s feature really had a chance to bring it all back. I think the culture is waiting for strong black R&B music to make a return, and not in the sense of a couple people doing it here and there, but to the point it’s just as popular as hip hop or whatever you’ll call the destruction of what hip hop has become. His style of trap soul was genius leading into what you have in hip hop now, and from time to time he would pop up on his own song and lay a rap 16 or a few bars now and again. It was dope to be honest. Which is why his first and second album did so well. I remember him hitting the mainstream scene with the Single “Don’t” and “Trapsoul” and thinking wow, this is exactly what hip hop needs right now. An actual singer that can rap, and has a fresh new concept or spin on hip hop and rnb music. All that success he was having was not only because he is a good artist with a sound unique to him, but shows the void and demand in R&B, that he had the chance to fill and was doing that. What is it like to be a child prodigy, and how does it feel to live with one? This music documentary follows the story of Maddox Marsollek, from Petershagen near Berlin. Maddox began playing the piano at the age of three and a half. Now, he practices three to four hours a day and is practically obsessed with music. He played his first concert in front of an audience at the age of five, and has since gone on to win numerous prizes at various music festivals around the world. His six-year-old brother Miles displays a similar talent—on the violin. Neither attend school; instead, they are both taught at home. It’s a challenge for their single mother to support these highly gifted children, but they can’t live without music. Is life as a child prodigy a blessing or a curse?

About Doom Patrol:

The Crow is a 1994 American dark fantasy action film directed by Alex Proyas, written by David J. Schow and John Shirley. The film stars Brandon Lee in his final film appearance. The film is based on James O'Barr's 1989 comic book The Crow, and tells the story of Eric Draven (Lee), a rock musician who is revived from the dead to avenge his own death as well as the rape and murder of his fiancée.

The lead actor, Brandon Lee, was accidentally mortally wounded on the set during filming by a defective blank, only eight days before the film would have completed production. Unfinished scenes that were to feature him were dealt with a re-written format in the script, a stunt double and digital special effects. The film is dedicated to Lee and his fiancée, Eliza.

Despite the several production setbacks due to Lee's death, The Crow was well-received critically for its unique visual style, premise, emotional depth and its tribute to the deceased actor. The film opened at the top of the box office and attained a strong cult following.
