⁣Slash - Hey Joe [Jimi Hendrix Tribute UK Hall of Fame 2005 HD]

Killing Joke, a band renowned for their unique blend of post-punk, electronic, and industrial influences, graced the stage at Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival on August 14, 2022. Their performance, described as both primitive and ritualistic, captivated the audience with a hypnotic vibe that resonated through Catton Park. With a career spanning over 16 years, Killing Joke has established themselves as a formidable force in the music world, known for their intense and mesmerizing live shows.

Their set at Bloodstock 2022 was no exception. The band's energy and passion were palpable, as they delivered a performance that was not just a musical set but a profound experience for the attendees. The festival, known for bringing together a diverse range of heavy metal and rock acts, found a perfect fit in Killing Joke, whose sound transcends conventional genre boundaries.

The band's appearance as special guests to Lamb of God added an extra layer of excitement to the festival. Lamb of God's own performance, characterized by their signature heavy metal sound, provided a stark contrast to Killing Joke's more eclectic style, showcasing the festival's commitment to musical diversity.

Fans of Killing Joke and attendees of Bloodstock 2022 will undoubtedly remember this performance as a highlight of the festival, a testament to the band's enduring appeal and the unifying power of music in bringing together diverse groups of people under the banner of rock and metal.

LYRICS:
In sleep he sang to me, in dreams he came
That voice which calls to me and speaks my name
And do I dream again? For now I find
The Phantom of the Opera is there
Inside my mind

Sing once again with me, our strange duet
My power over you grows stronger yet
And though you turn from me to glance behind
The Phantom of the Opera is there
Inside your mind

Those who have seen your face
Draw back in fear
I am the mask you wear
(It's me they hear...)

voice
In one combined
The Phantom of the Opera is there
Inside my (your) mind (beware, the Phantom of the Opera)

In all your fantasies, you always knew
That man and mystery
(Were both in you)

And in this labyrinth, where night is blind
The Phantom of the Opera is here (there)
Inside my (your) mind

Sing, my Angel of Music! (He's there, the Phantom of the Opera)
Sing for me

Sing my angel, sing

Sing for me

The Doors channel is the official YouTube home of classic Doors live performances, The Doors albums, and contemporary performances and content honoring The Doors featuring John Densmore and Robby Krieger.

With an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of singer Jim Morrison’s poetry and presence, The Doors had a transformative impact not only on popular music but on popular culture.

The Doors’ arrival on the rock scene in 1967 marked not only the start of a string of hit singles and albums that would become classics, but also of something much bigger – a new and deeper relationship between creators and audience. Refusing to be mere entertainers, the Los Angeles quartet relentlessly challenged, confronted and inspired their fans, leaping headfirst into the heart of darkness while other bands warbled about peace and love. Though they’ve had scores of imitators, there’s never been another band quite like them.

Lyrics:

HEY X 4
Won’t you squeeze a slice of lime into my vodka soda?
I will hit you up later I hear that something’s rollin’
HEY X 4
He wants to meet me in the back of the bar
Lookin’ so tough with his sister’s top on
Says come along to this King West club
The pretty girls and their future *husbands*
I’ll get you on the *cover*, get us an Uber
And in the meantime share a *laugh* with the driver
We’re staying out gotta make it ??? early
Gotta take out all your money then baby we’re hittin’ it hard

Take me somewhere new I’ve already been here once before
Somewhere unbelievable before it starts to blow up
Take me somewhere new I’ve already been here twice before
Let’s get out of here I’m bored this place is gonna blow up

Won’t you come with me and meet my dealer down the street?
Make sure your shoes are clean before you’re in his SUV
He knows a place behind the Summerville pool
A little discotheque where people can move
I wanna dance so I got nothing to lose
I wanna dance until I’m kicked out, don’t you?
Don’t let me down it’s just a quarter to two
I’m outta cash *and dude you know what to do*
We’re going out and we’re spending your money
Gotta get you to the cash machine you’re God damn breaking my heart

Take me somewhere new I’ve already been here once before
Somewhere unbelievable before it starts to blow up
Take me somewhere new I’ve already been here twice before
Let’s get out of here I’m bored this place is gonna blow up

I-O-O-I-E-I-I-O X 4
(LET’S GO OUT WITH EMMETT WEBB, LET’S STAY OUT ‘TIL 5AM)
WOO!

HEY X 8
Take me somewhere new I’ve already been here once before
Somewhere unbelievable before it starts to blow up
Take me somewhere new I’ve already been here twice before
Let’s get out of here I’m bored this place is gonna blow up

Take me somewhere new I’ve already been here once before
Somewhere unbelievable before it starts to blow up

DESDEMONA LYRICS:
Desdemona everything she says is a rollercoaster of slogans
She can’t help knowing where she’s going
High voltage rock n roller
Nobody can control her
And when you start to bore her
She gets lost
She’ll take off all your makeup
Leave you before you wake up
And then you’ll start to wonder
What’s it like in your head?
Dancing to no sound
Blocking it all out
What’s it like in your head?
Dancing to no sound
Blocking it all out
Oh I wanna know
She comes closer, smacks the floor with her patent leather
Creepers, jeepers, she’s taller than all the boys who linger
What’s it like in your head?
In your head
In your head
In your head
x 4
What’s it like in your head? x 2
Head
What’s it like in your head?
Head
What’s it like in your head?

Evanescence are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Fallen with a series of special reissues via Craft Recordings.

Available on Deluxe 2-LP, 2-CD, and Digital — as well as a Super Deluxe Edition collector’s box set — Fallen (20th Anniversary Edition) offers newly remastered audio, including the albums singles “My Immortal,” “Going Under,” “Everybody’s Fool,” and “Bring Me To Life.” The expanded set also includes a trove of bonus material – ten tracks in all – comprising previously-unreleased demos and live recordings plus a selection of rare B-sides. Alongside reimagined artwork, all physical formats will include previously-unseen photos from the era, plus a handwritten foreword by Amy Lee, who oversaw all aspects of the reissue. The Deluxe vinyl, CD and digital configurations are out now.

Available exclusively at Evanescence.com is the Super Deluxe Box Set, arriving February, 2024. “This set was recorded and filmed at the CEMES laboratory, in Toulouse, south of France. The place is called "La Boule", and the structures you see behind us are the top of an old particle microscope. The sound turns infinitely in this sphere of aluminum. We wanted to confront our songs with this environment full of endless echoes and noises.

Thank you very much to our crew, LEVITATION, and all the good people at CEMES, it was an intense sonic and physical experience for us, we hope you'll enjoy watching it.

Can't wait to play for ya'll in real life, but until this day arrives... We salute you, from the deep space and the night !” - SLIFT

Ace of Base was a Swedish pop group, originally consisting of Ulf Ekberg and three siblings: Jonas Berggren, Linn Berggren and Jenny Berggren. The group released four studio albums between 1992 and 2002, which sold more than 30 million copies worldwide, making it the third-most successful Swedish band of all time, after ABBA and Roxette.
