Lyrics:
Give me a sign that we can start over again
Let’s go for a ride, could this be where it begins?
And all this time, you held it inside somewhere
So throw me a line, we can weather the storm ‘till the end

And I run, ‘till I meet the sun
And I run, until I reach the seas
At the edge of the ocean
There’s a place to start over again
At the edge of the ocean
Holds a place, we can start over again

Follow the light, we can count on the stars to shine
Travel billions of miles, we can light up the skies tonight
All my life, you weren’t so hard to find
When the morning arrives, you’ll be standing there by my side

And I run, ‘till I meet the sun
And I run, until I reach the seas
At the edge of the ocean
There’s a place to start over again
At the edge of the ocean
Holds a place, we can start over again

Moving on, I was leaving
Will you remember me?
Can’t turn back those feelings
What will be, it will be
I found a place to live along the ocean’s edge
Can’t hold back those feelings
It’s just the way we are
It’s just the way we are

And I run, ‘till I meet the sun
And I run, ‘till I reach the seas

Won’t you go, you know I’ll be there
Don’t you know you can always count on me?
I’ll be there
Promise me, you’ll come my way, yeah
Don’t you know you can always count on me?
I’ll be there

WHO ARE THE FULANI PEOPLE? Hotney 4 vistas • 3 años hace

#fulani #fulaniherdsmen . This video is about the Fulani people of West Africa. Meet the Fulani, the largest nomadic group in the world, with an estimated 20 to 25 million people.
• Hello and welcome to Afroartista Films. Today, we're going to be talking about the Fulani people of Africa. The Fulani, also known as the Fula or Fulbe, are a diverse ethnic group that can be found in several West African countries, including Nigeria, Guinea, Senegal, and Mali.
The Fulani people have a rich history and culture that has been shaped by centuries of migration and interaction with other ethnic groups. They are primarily Muslim and have a strong tradition of Islamic scholarship. Many Fulani are also involved in pastoralism, raising cattle and other livestock.
• The Fulani are a mixed people. Even though an origin in the central Sahara has been suggested on archaeological grounds, it has been found that the contemporary Fulani have a predominant West African genetic background combined with North African and trace European ancestry fractions.
One thing I found beautiful in the Fulani women is their curly flowing jet-black hair. The secret is the traditional hair products that they regularly apply into their hair which creates a beautiful sheen that is the envy of many.
• The Woodabe are one of the most prominent Fulani subgroups. They are known for their beauty (both men and women), elaborate attire and rich cultural ceremonies. At the end of the rainy season in September, Wodaabe clans gather in several traditional locations before the beginning of their dry season transhumance migration. Here the young Wodaabe men, with elaborate make-up, feathers and other adornments, perform the Yaake: dances and songs to impress marriageable women. The male beauty ideal of the Wodaabe stresses tallness, white eyes and teeth; the men will often roll their eyes and show their teeth to emphasize these characteristics. Wodaabe clans then join for the remainder of the week-long Gerewol: a series of barters over marriage and contests where the young men's beauty and skills are judged by young women.
• One of the most unique aspects of Fulani culture is their traditional system of governance, known as the "Fulani Emirate." This system is based on a hierarchical system of leaders, with a central figure known as the "Emir" at the top. These leaders are chosen based on their wealth, prestige, and reputation for wisdom and fairness.
Fulani people also have a rich tradition of oral history and storytelling. They have a strong tradition of epic poetry, which is passed down from generation to generation. These stories often tell of the Fulani people's history and culture, as well as their interactions with other ethnic groups.
Fulani people also have a strong tradition of art and craftsmanship. This includes intricate leatherwork, beadwork, and metalwork. Their traditional clothing is also very colourful and intricate.
Despite their rich culture, the Fulani people have faced many challenges in recent years. One of the biggest challenges has been the on-going conflict in Nigeria, which has displaced many Fulani communities. Additionally, many Fulani people have been forced to give up their traditional way of life due to the expansion of agriculture and other land-use changes.
• Despite these challenges, the Fulani people have shown a remarkable resilience and determination to preserve their culture and traditions. They continue to make valuable contributions to the societies in which they live and their culture remains a vital and vibrant part of Africa's heritage.
In conclusion, the Fulani people are a diverse and resilient ethnic group with a rich history and culture. They have made a significant impact on the societies in which they live and continue to do so. They are a testament to the resilience of Africa's diverse cultures and heritages. Thank you for watching, for more informative videos like this, please don't forget to subscribe to Afroartista Films. See you on the next one.

LYRICS
Eh oh eh oh
Eh oh eh oh

Feel like I’ve been reading you wrong
And we’ve tilted from where we started
If someone’s gunna let go
It’s me that’s gotta let go
I’m damned if I do, gunna be damned if I don’t

Eh oh eh oh
Eh oh eh oh

You say one more dance and I always give in
(I don’t know what I’m doing)
(I don’t know what I’m doing)
I’m falling in your arms trying to save everything
(I don’t know what I’m doing)
(I don’t know what I’m doing)

Heartbreaker
It was over right from the start
Heartbreaker
And nothing’s ever gunna be enough
Heartbreaker
I wanted you to be but you’re not

Eh oh eh oh
Eh oh eh oh

Been too long, too long holding on
To this blindfold hoping and praying
We both know the truth is
We’re already losing
Damned if I do, gunna be damned if I don’t

Eh oh eh oh
Eh oh eh oh

You say one more dance and I always give in
(I don’t know what I’m doing)
(I don’t know what I’m doing)
I’m falling in your arms trying to save everything
(I don’t know what I’m doing)
(I don’t know what I’m doing)

Heartbreaker
It was over right from the start
Heartbreaker
And nothing’s ever gunna be enough
Heartbreaker
I wanted you to be but you’re not

Heartbreaker , Heartbreaker , Heartbreaker
(Eh oh eh oh
Eh oh eh oh… )

Illusions only last for so long

Heartbreaker

I wanted you to be but you’re not

But you’re not

Lyrics:
All people know his saga
Of glory and of fame
His power is unrivalled
And mighty is his name

He's born a living legend
He's higher than a tower
The ground shakes as he walks
His laughter roars like thunder
Two - handed is his sword
A living legend
He's a mountain of power
Harder than steel

A mountain of power
Each fibre is real
A giant of wisdom
He’ll set you free
A mountain of power
Harder than steel

A mountain of power
Of power, of power
A mountain of power
Of power, of power
They call me mountain of power
Of power, of power
A mountain of power
Harder than steel

The prophecies are mystic
He knows the ancient scrolls
His voice is like an earthquake
As magic words unfold
He's born as a ruler

He drinks the mead like water
And idle to his folk
Protects the ones who trust him
Beats rivals with one stroke
He's born as a ruler
A mountain of power
Each fibre is real
A giant of wisdom
He’ll set you free
A mountain of power
Harder than steel

Long ago
A hero has arrived
A giant, as strong as thirty men
A demigod amongst mortals

A mountain of power
Harder than steel

He's a mountain of power
Harder than steel

A mountain of power
Each fibre is real
A giant of wisdom
He’ll set you free
A mountain of power
Harder than steel

A mountain of power
Of power, of power
A mountain of power
Of power, of power
They call me mountain of power
Of power, of power
A mountain of power
Harder than steel

A mountain of power
Harder than steel

Lyrics translation:
In the dreams of a liberated future
With principles of greatness and virtue
Purging yourself of your own lust
We develop a temporal image of being

Although, a word, with no meaning
An action unable to affect
Truth, as the foundation of harmony
Wrapped in translations of meanings

Dehumanized feeling of guilt
Soothing
In the disability of repulsive past
Justifying the form
Justifying greatness

Even the flying body parts
A face, melted by iron
Incompatible with life
Like a knife, slowly thrusting into an eye

A dehumanized voice, a canticle of pain
That sensually vibrates the soul
Filled with love
Chanting the name of the savior of humanity

Touching the depths of heart
In the echo of warmest feelings
In the dusk of prominent beliefs
Where the determination of misguided faith is stronger
Than life itself
