Johnny The Boy - Crossings (official music video) 2023 Hotney 4 Streams • 3 years ago

Gloom Core band JOHNNY THE BOY are now sharing the new song 'Crossings'. The track is taken from the album "You", which will be released on June 9th, 2023.

Born from a simple idea, and eventually coalescing over the last couple of years into a fully-formed entity, Johnny The Boy make music that hurts. Armed with a scabrous but sculpted blend of ice-cold black metal, excoriating sludge and sinewy, white-knuckle rock’n’roll, the trio’s musical identity has arrived, perfectly imperfect and ready to eviscerate. Formed around a creative core of vocalist Belinda Kordic, guitarist Justin Greaves (both members of Crippled Black Phoenix) and bassist Matt Crawford (CBP alumnus and live bassist), Johnny The Boy began life as an instinctive grab for something darker and nastier.

Lyrics:

Alone
all alone
With that last breath
and no given hand to hold
How cruel it is
to have to it end like this
Afraid and alone
Where is the comfort
Too sooth them on their way
Safe passage through the darkened haze
All should know love when letting go
No one should die alone
Die alone

Alone

With no hand to hold
There is no comfort
No one should go alone
When that last breath is drawn

Alone

Lyrics
You got a new life,
Am I bothering you?,
Do you wanna talk?,

We share the last line,
Then we drink the wall,
Until we wanna talk,

I go round and round,
Satellite,

Spinning out, waiting for you to pull me in,
I can see you’re lonely down there,
Don’t you know that I am right here?,

(Spinning out waiting for you),

I’m in an LA Mood,
I don’t wanna talk to you,
She said “Give me a day or two”,

I go round and round,
Satellite,

Spinning out, waiting for you to pull me in,
I can see you’re lonely down there,
Don’t you know that I am right here?,

Right here,
Right here,
Spinning out, waiting for you,
I’m here,
Right here,
Wishing I could be there for you,

Spinning out, waiting for you to pull me in,
I can see you’re lonely down there,
Don’t you know that I am right here?,

~~~~~ Lyrics provided by RTP ~~~~~
Ai Coração que não me deixas em paz
Não me dás sossego, não me deixas capaz
Tenho a cabeça e a garganta num nó
Que não se desfaz e nem assim tu tens dó
Sinto-me tonta, cada dia pior
Já não sei de coisas que sabia de cor
As pulsações subiram quase pra mil
Estou louca, completamente senil
O peito a arder, a boca seca eu sei lá
O que te fazer, amor pra mim assim não dá
Porque parece que nem sou mais eu
Ai coração, ai coração, diz-me lá se és meu
As horas passam e o sono não vem
Ouço as corujas e os vizinhos também
O meu juízo foi-se e por lá ficou
Alguém me tire deste estado em que estou
O doutor diz que não há nada a fazer
Caso perdido, vi-o eu a escrever
Ando perdida numa outra dimensão
Toda eu sou uma grande confusão
O peito a arder, a boca seca eu sei lá
O que te fazer, amor pra mim assim não dá
Porque parece que nem sou mais eu
Ai coração, ai coração, ai coração, diz-me lá se és meu
O peito a arder, a boca seca eu sei lá
O que te fazer, amor pra mim assim não dá
Porque parece que nem sou mais eu
Ai coração, ai coração, ai coração, ai coração,
diz-me lá se és meu
~~~~~ Lyrics (English) provided by RTP ~~~~~

Oh heart that won't let me be
You won't give me peace, you leave me unfit!
My head and throat are circling around
That won't undo itself, and yet you feel no sympathy!

I feel dizzy, and every day worse
I don't know things that I used to know!
My pulse is racing like mad
I feel crazy, totally senile!

My chest is burning, my mouth is dry, what’s happening to me?
What to do love, I can´t do it like this!
Because I don´t even feel like myself,
Oh heart, oh heart
Tell me if you are mine?

Hours go by and I can't sleep,
I hear the owls and my neighbours too!
My mind is gone, and it got lost in there,
Somebody please snap me out of this!
The Doctor says there's nothing to be done,
“Lost cause”, I saw him writing!
I’m lost in another dimension,
I am now a huge mess!

My chest is burning, my mouth is dry, what’s happening to me?
What to do Love, I can´t do it like this!
Because I don´t even feel like myself,
Oh heart, oh heart, oh heart
Tell me if you are mine?

My chest is burning, my mouth is dry, what’s happening to me?
What to do Love, I can´t do it like this!
Because I don´t even feel like myself,
Oh heart, oh heart, oh heart, oh heart...
Tell me if you are mine?

Get my money up yeah u no she like my vibe
See your Akhiyan I can see it in your eyes
I got lamiyaan machines for the rides
But anything you want I can get you what u like

Get my money up yeah u no she like my vibe
See your akhiyan I can see it in your eyes
I got lamiyaan machines for the rides
But anything you want I can get you what you like

Verse

..I can get u what you like
Told u already your the only one I like
Nothing comes cheap man I had to pay the price
Big Lamborghini gonna make em look twice

Get my money up just like Everyday’s E I D
Now I’m hooded up running From C I D
No me everywhere they don’t need to see ID
U can get what u like like T.I.P

Yeah we brake down boxes down in to peices
U broke my heart n you left it in pieces
nobody’s real ye I had enough of love
U see them cold nights outside bagging up grub

Get my money up yeah u know she like my vibe
See your Akhiyaan I can see it in your eyes
I got lamiyaan machines for the rides
But anything you want I can get you what you like

Get my money up yeah u know she like my vibe
See your akhiyaan I can see it in your eyes
I got lamiyaan machines for the rides
But anything you want I can get you what you like

Top of the range
Got boxes of cane
She wants my name
But am not gonna change
I ain’t like these rappers no vios blud I’ll lif a man
Bro got life I ain’t seen him probably pissed with man
Flizzy on me yeah man stay flipping
But I robbed the whole block when my line wernt ringing
Rips n 3s thinking about my dawgs
For some decent ps we had to lick it at his yard
I dont wanna talk if it money in the convo
Whizzing in this porch throw 30 in his monzo
Like making money but I fell in love with gun smoke
Try take it from me glide round with this long nose

Get my money up yeah u know she like my vibe
See your Akhiyaan I can see it in your eyes
I got lamiyaan machines for the rides
But anything you want I can get you what you like

Get my money up yeah u know she like my vibe
See your akhiyaan I can see it in your eyes
I got lamiyaan machines for the rides
But anything you want I can get you what you like
