Ich leb alleine schon viele Jahre
Das Leben stumpf, der Alltag grau
Verlier Geduld, Verstand und Haare
Ich hätte gerne eine Frau

Und die Hoffnung will mir schwinden
Eine Partnerin zu finden
Die mir ebenbürtig ist
Nein, da ist kein Glück in Sicht

Sie muss nicht schön sein
Sie muss nicht klug sein
Nein
Sie muss nicht reich sein
Kein Model mit langen Schritten
Doch dicken Titten

Wie eine stetig offene Wunde
Aus der Seele tropft das Blut
Einzig Trost sind kleine Hunde
Ein feines Fräulein wäre gut

Ein feines Fräulein wäre toll
Ich bin auch gar nicht anspruchsvoll
Ich bin auch gar nicht wählerisch
Am Ende der Geschicht

Muss sie nicht schön sein
Sie muss nicht klug sein
Nein
Sie muss nicht reich sein
Doch um eines möchte ich bitten
Dicke Titten

Ich bin auch gar nicht anspruchsvoll
Doch große Brüste wären toll

Sie muss nicht schön sein
Sie muss nicht klug sein
Sie muss nur reich sein
An Fettgewebe bitte, bitte
Sie wird nichts bei mir vermissen
Sie braucht mich auch gar nicht küssen
Braucht mich nicht mit Trauben laben
Sie muss nur Riesentitten haben

Dicke Titten

Ann Powers | May 22, 2023
“We’re gonna play you a story,” the Oregon-based singer-songwriter Anna Tivel says, introducing “Black Umbrella,” her searing ballad about police violence in an American convenience store, during this quiet and riveting performance at the Tiny Desk. As the keyboardist Galen Clark adds grace notes supporting gently unyielding guitar, Tivel sings of a young bystander who, because of the way he looks, is transfigured from witness to a crime to alleged perpetrator and, finally, its most tragic victim. “Black Umbrella” is the epic at the broken heart of Tivel’s exquisite 2022 album Outsiders, which like all of her music chronicles the lives of the overlooked, misunderstood and vulnerable. As always, Tivel’s remarkable empathy elevates her folk-based, jazz-touched compositions from mere stories to secular prayers.

Sometimes Tivel is the vulnerable one. “What if flying doesn’t take, and we’re alive only to ache?” she sings in the closer “Royal Blue,” a song to a best friend that’s as unguarded as it is hopeful. Her ease here with Clark and the drummer Micah Hummel, whose gentle embellishments complement Tivel’s modest ways, comes from much time in their van, crossing continents. Inside their swirling arrangements, Tivel’s portraits of pain and resilience become hypnotic, like dreams, like reality as we cope with it, always unfolding. “Is there something that you want to say?” she intones in the new and unreleased song “Fluorescence in the Future.” Thing is, Anna’s already said it.

Lyrics:
Do some living while you're able, try not to be ungrateful for the gift of suffering the Light, the Void and Everything
Do you believe in fairy tales of heaven and beyond? What does life mean? shut up baby, nothing at all.
So be happy and be lighter before your time expires. We exist in a single blink: the Light, the Void and Everything
Do you believe in fairy tales of heaven and beyond? What does life mean? shut up baby, nothing at all.
The Light, the Void and Everything.

Im way to fine to be inside, I’m outside
Having my own sh*!
Booking my own trips
don’t ever let him disrespect you and call you out your name
You’ll have these boys obsessed
they can’t stop mentioning your name (boy stop)
I’m bad, I’m gorgeous, I’m very important
how you calling me a snack
you know I’m seven courses

This is for da girls getting money
this is for da girls that don’t need no man
This is for all da girls that’s in love with they self

Yeeaaahhh

I’m bad and paid
I move like the N***** move
I got foreigns chains too
it ain’t really nothing that I can’t do
I speak for the baddies
bank account look like phone numbers
all of our check got four commas
Running this thing for more summers
Designer my clothes
the cover of Vogue
I wanted some flowers
Mr. Wilson pulled up in a Rolls (skurt)
Pulled off in a ghost
When I post up my pic they say goals
money long, weave to, girls love girls, of course we do

This is for da girls getting money
this is for da girls that don’t need no man
This is for all da girls that’s in love with they self this for all da girls that done did It by they self this for all da girls thats I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T
