To celebrate the one year anniversary of Bonobo’s five-night residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall in their 150th year, we present the official recording of his performance.

Bonobo’s residency at the Royal Albert Hall became the longest continuous run of performances for a solo musician, and the longest run ever for an electronic artist.

Focusing on tracks from his most recent album 'Fragments', as well as songs from his wider catalogue, the film also includes the impromptu moment when the organist Anna Lapwood joined the band for ‘Otomo,’ on the venues famed pipe organ.

☞ About the set
Mochakk describes his musical journey at Plaza de España:
"This set has a name: Viagem a Sevilha, Portuguese for 'voyage to Seville'.
It’s an attempt to compile in 2 hours of music, the feeling of missing home in this tug of war between a calling and a career unfolding and living my young days with my people in my home country.

NO8DO is a love letter from a Brazilian visiting Spain and getting mesmerized by the beauties of Spain, but still being unable to detach from the feeling of home, the feeling of being back in Brazil. A reference to me discovering the world but still paying homage and bringing my country and it’s wonderful, vast & rich musical history, exactly like the end of this musical journey should be.

With Love, Pedro ❤"

☞ About the location
The Plaza de España is one of the most spectacular monuments in Europe. Built in 1929 for the Ibero-American Exhibition in Seville, it is a unique palace-square square with a total surface area of 50,000 square meters. It is divided into three parts: a palace, a square, and a canal. Telling the story of Spain, this exceptional location is also known in the cinema industry, notably as the stage of some scenes of Star Wars’ second opus.

☞ GOLDEN HOUR
Cercle’s new signature fragrance premiered in Seville - a unique olfactory experience crafted by Ugo Charron from MANE Fragrance House and delivered by Scentair Olfactory System.

Lyrics:

I’ll ascend
As the sun into the night
I’ll appear
On a pale horse alight

Skyward, I climb alone
Yet bound forever to this Earth
Quench my unholy thirst
To will is to dissent

Go forth
And conquer
In thy own name
For thy own flesh
Forsake shame
Forsake guilt
Do what thou wilt

Onwards, driven by doubt
Carving my beastly ways
Never will I submit
To will is to disobey

Hail Empower thyself
Strive forever to more
Make heel the universe
So the last will be the first

Onwards, driven yet calm
Carving malevolent ways
Never will I submit
To will is to disobey

Singer, songwriter, actress, and producer Janelle Monáe has navigated the entertainment industry with a unique and eclectic musical style that blends elements of R&B, funk, soul, pop, and science fiction concepts. Janelle Monáe's third studio album, 'The Age of Pleasure', is a project about self-acceptance and being in the moment.

Janelle sits down with Zane Lowe to explain the process of making her new album 'The Age of Pleasure'. Janelle opens up about re-discovering the importance of being in the moment and focusing on what gives her true pleasure. She talks about growing and evolving as a person, and how that's reflected in the music. She also talks about the parties that inspired the music, and how she even tested some songs at house parties to observe the crowd reaction and deem whether or not the tracks were worthy of making the album. Janelle also discusses acting and her thoughts on the rise of artificial intelligence.

Dave East: Stunted Growth Music: In 2014 hip hop really wanted a guy like today’s feature. At the time hip hop was a melting pot of different style within the culture, that gave you a different fix no matter what you enjoyed and for different reasons they all were able to co exist and have success. You had west coast hip hop in YG, who topped the charts and was named by billboard as having the top rap album in the game that year. Run the Jewels repping for yesteryear hip hop, J Cole as one of the younger hip hop artist carrying the torch for rap as it was once known, then there was the Migos, braggadocios Southern hip hop guaranteed a hit on radio and in the clubs, Jeezy, Schoolboy Q, Kevin Gates, Big Krit, Future, Young thug…It was maybe the final year where you could find this sort of diversity in the genre and enjoyment no matter what you liked. An era Dave East should’ve flourished in. He was supposed to become the new era's Nas possibly, but that never happened. Still a decent rapper, but couldn't take it to the next level. DAVE EAST Was Supposed To Be The NEXT NAS! What Happened? Stunted Growth Music

Lyrics:
All these years that now have passed
Seasons came and seasons went
In solitude I dream of days
From a life in the past

Will I be remembered?
When my time finally comes
A thought many have questioned
In their time beneath the sun

And when death takes me
Will I accept the end I am to receive?
Will I feel fulfilled?
Or bear resentment for the choices I have made?

Oh, this cursed mortality

Will I be remembered?
When my time finally comes
A thought many have questioned
In their time beneath the sun

The hourglass runs out
Life fading
My days are spent
Reminiscing

Time waits for no one
We are powerless
When we try to resist
This cursed mortality

My strength will fade
And these aching bones will break
I must acknowledge my end
In the face of death

The hourglass runs out
Life fading
My days are spent
Reminiscing

I am in denial
Soon comes the endless night
Shrouded in mystery
Nothingness unfolds on me

The sun now sets on this frail old man…

"Bluish" is taken from Chris Farren's new album, Doom Singer - out August 4, 2023.

Directed by Chris Farren
Starring Chris Farren & Frankie Impastato
and introducing "Buddy" (RIP).

"For this video I stood in front of a green screen while my wife blasted me with a leaf blower for 5 minutes. I was inspired by a short animated film I saw on the Criterion Channel (I’m smart) called 'Asparagus' by an amazing visual artist named Suzan Pitt." - Chris Farren (director)

Lyrics:
I don’t remember how to do this, Sitting at a table with our friends And when the sky turns black and bluish i pretend we’re the only people here. I don’t belong anywhere without you on my arm. I try to fight but it’s been such a long night, I’m spinning out. I don’t know how ill make it thru this I can hold my breath for one more year And when my eyes go black and bluish I’ll pretend we’re the only people here. I don’t belong anywhere without you on my arm. I try to fight but it’s been such a long night, I’m spinning out. You saved me from a life lived under rubble Of everything that I’ve ever done wrong I don’t belong anywhere without you on my arm. I try to fight but it’s been such a long night, I’m spinning out. It’s been such a long night.

Lyrics:
Just like an ocean has its waves
I’ve done things I just can’t change
And just like clouds are full of rain
I carry with me all this extra weight
I’ve got to let it drain

If you have nothing to die for
What are you even alive for?
Yeah, there’s birds in the trees
And there are singing for me
When the night falls
That the sunrise won’t be
nothing like yesterday

And you can call me fool
But I hope this song is for you
If it’s not quite enough
I’ll find another line or two
If I just had someone
To sing it to

I keep a voice inside my head
Reminding me how much I regret
And just like a thunder has its strike
Every time I’m clean I go and fuck it up
It’s a habit of mine

If you got nothing to die for
What are you even alive for?
Yeah, there’s birds in the trees
And there are singing for me
When the night falls
That the sunrise won’t be
nothing like yesterday

And you can call me fool
But I hope this song is for you
If it’s not quite enough
I’ll find another line or two
If I just had someone
To sing it to

LYRICS:

Verse 1:
We may not look the same
Ya, might talk different too
Got a long, long list of differences
Between me and you
Different colors, different stories
Even different politics
But He’s calling us now
to lay it all down
Get back to the heart of it

Chorus:
And be a good, good, good, good, good neighbor
Learn to love each other with the love of the Savior
Make room at the table and share the hope that we got
And be a good, good, good neighbor,
And show the world we got a good God

Verse 2:
I’ve read the good book
Every word in black and red
But is my faith alive if I live my life
And don’t do what it says
Love your God with all your heart and soul
Love your neighbor as yourself
And be Jesus to a broken world
That’s crying out for help

Bridge:
There’s room for everybody in the family of God
There’s room for everybody in the family of God
Make room at the table share the hope that we got
‘Cause there’s room for everybody in the family of God
