Jimmie Allen & Noah Cyrus “This Is Us” Lyrics
(Jimmie)
I used to push my luck
I used to fill my cup
Yeah, I used to be known for the dumb things
I used to chase the sun
I used to kiss and run
All night-ers, turned into nothings
And I,
I’m lucky every other lover got away
I’m lucky that my heart was always hard to break I’m lucky when you came along
I had a chance to take

(Jimmie & Noah)
‘Cause it was just you
And that was just me
And that was just the way that it used to be
And we were just kids back then trying to figure out what it was No, it wasn’t that bad
But could’ve been better
If only back then we’d have been together
But it was just you
And that was just me
Before we found love
Now, this is us

(Noah)
All I really know is love ain’t simple
It finds you all alone when you’re unassembled
Yeah, when you’re in pieces and you feel like you’re drowning You don’t wanna give nobody the power
That’s when it gets in the cut
And that’s when it stitches you up

(Jimmie & Noah)
‘Cause it was just you
And that was just me
And that was just the way that it used to be
And we were just kids back then trying to figure out what it was No, it wasn’t that bad
But could’ve been better
If only back then we’d have been together But it was just you
And that was just me
Before we found love
Now, this is us This is us
This is us
This is us, yeah This is trust
This is trust
This is trust, yeah This is love
This is love
This is love, yeah

(Jimmie)
I’m lucky every other lover got away
I’m lucky that my heart was always hard to break I’m lucky when you came along
I had a chance to take

(Jimmie & Noah)
‘Cause it was just you
And that was just me
And that was just the way that it used to be
And we were just kids back then trying to figure out what it was No, it wasn’t that bad
But could’ve been better
If only back then we’d have been together
But it was just you
And that was just me
Before we found love
Now, this is us
This is us
This is us
This is us, yeah
This is trust
This is trust
This is trust, yeah
This is love
This is love
This is love, yeah
(Yeah, yeah)
(This is love, yeah baby)
This is us
This is us
This is us, yeah (yeah, baby) This is trust
This is trust
This is trust, yeah (oh, baby) This is love
This is love
This is love, yeah

You better hop into the ride when it’s war’eee
You know your beef is mine like jewellery, I wanna see my boy shine

Verse

Flex on opps make them angry, get the gwops they can’t stand me
My cousin is a opp so fuck my aunty
My cousin is a opp so fuck my aunty

I love all my guys wait pause
I don’t just dance I slide with sauce

Lyrics:
Lipstick junkie
Debunk the all in one
She came back wearing a smile
Looking like someone drugged me
That wanted to unplug me
No one in here is on trial
Its just a turn-around
And we go, oh
Well and we go, oh, oh, oh, oh

Tic-toc, I want to
Rock you like the '80s
Cock-blocking isn’t allowed
Tugboat Shiela is into memorabilia
Who said three is a crowd?
We better get it on the go

Hey, now
We’ve got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Our Maggie makes it in a cloud

I said hey, now
We’ve got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
She knows how to make it loud

Rain dance Maggie advances to the final
Who knew that she had the goods?
Little did I know
Her body was warm delicious vinyl
To your neck of the woods
I want to lick a little bit

Hey, now
We’ve got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Our Maggie makes it in a cloud

You got the wrong girl
But not for long, girl
It's in the song, girl
'Cause I’ll be gone, girl

Hey, now
We’ve got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Our Maggie makes it in a cloud

I said hey, now
I want to rock this rowdy crowd
She told me to
And showed me what to do
She knows how to make it loud

But not for long, girl
It's in the song, girl
'Cause I’ll be gone, bye, bye, bye, yeah
Bye bye, bye, girl
Bye bye, girl
Bye bye, girl
Bye bye
